Tae stood up from the bed and decided to take some fresh air outside.

Its December, and its winter. He knew he'll be cold so he put on his scarf and went out the hallway.

Everything felt cold, why does Jungkook have to leave when he needs warmth the most?

Its already 10, and Tae felt so exhausted by the trainings. But he couldn't sleep because of the thoughts rummaging his head.

Even though Jungkook promised, he still can't get a hold of himself.

He sighed and caressed the pendant from the necklace. He smiled.

Out of the blue, Tae flinched at the sudden voice from behind.

"Why are you still awake?" He turned around to see Bogum with his curious emotion.

He felt relieved. At least, its not another kidnapper.

"Obviously, I can't sleep." Tae giggled.

"You miss Captain already?" Tae felt flustered on what he just said.

Does he know? "H-huh?" Tae looked away.

"Kidding." Bogum laughed, he knew that was the reason. But he didn't want to hurt himself any further.

"Anyways, Captain gave me something."

It immediately caught Tae's attention. Bogum took out a box from behind him. Not that small nor big, just average.

"He gave that to me when he saw me in the camp gate. He told me to give it to you."

Tae immediately took a hold of the box.

He stared at it and wondered whats inside. He felt nervous.

"You should unbox it inside. Or in the training room since there are no people there." Bogum said and left.

Tae immediately went towards the tree where he and Jungkook always meet.

He immediately pulled the ribbon and it revealed not much, but quite enough things for Tae to be endeared.

"He's been writing me letters?" He whispered to himself as soon as he saw lots of folded paper with letters engraved on it.

He picked one, and read it.

— jungkook's letter to taehyung.

— missing him.

Tae sat on the corner, watching his teammates in confusion. "Why are you guys packing too much? We're just gonna train in the field?"

Tae asked, and Seokjin answered. "Didn't our trainer told us that we'll train in waters?"

Tae's brows shot up, "What?"

Hoseok grabbed his bag and pulled it over his shoulder. "The trainer told us last week, you didn't listen did you?"

They joked and Tae laughed at himself too. Why is he always missing the important details.

"Go pack-up now Tae, we're gonna be called in a few."

They we're in a forest — again. Well, most unexpected wars happens in forests.

Tae should be used to it already, but he couldn't since it was a different one for today.

"Boo!"

"Holy Mary mother of God—"

Tae was shut when he heard Bogum laughed.

"Why are you praying? Am I something like a bad spirit?" He laughed.

He gave him a death glare and pinched his ears. "Aw aw—ouch!" Bogum groaned.

"Why in the world would you surprise me?" Tae cried, he let go of his ear, and it looked funny cuz it became red.

Bogum caressed his ear to ease the pain, "You we're so serious, are you watching for a snake?"

By that, Tae remembered what happened last week. He immediately became sensitive with is senses and looked around to see if there are any snakes.

"No, I'm just preparing my—"

"AAA! Snake!"

Bogum cried, everyone became alert and Tae literally jumped from his place.

"NOTAGAINWHATHEFUCK!"

He quickly hid behind Bogum and grabbed the twig beside him as a sheild.

"WHEREISIT?!" He cried, but he felt so betrayed when Bogum started laughing again.

The other soldiers also felt relieved but betrayed when they heard him laughing. Good thing their trainer hasn't arrived yet or he's dead.

Tae smacked his arm. "THAT'S FUNNY? I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK!" He cried.

Bogum was laughing too hard that he choked on his laugh.

Tae is now the one laughing when he saw Bogum choked. His face looked funny. "Deserved."

After being calmed down, Bogum chuckled. "Sorry, I was just trying to light up the mood. You look so nervous."

Tae gulped. He sure was.

Bogum was quite good at distracting him because he somehow forgot his fears.

Not long after, their trainer arrived and they immediately went back in their places.

"As I told you all, our training would be related with water today." He started.

"As you can see, there are three woods on the other side of this edge. In between them was a deep lagoon."

They started distributing arrows and bows to everyone.

"You'll be needing to jump onto the lake, but you need to shot atleast one of those wood as soon as you jump."

"You can use some vines to swing and guide you in shooting. You can enjoy, but remember that this is a training."

They went off by teams. They started to jump while holding onto the vine to shoot, then let go and fall into the water.

Some got a shot, some didn't.

Its now their team's turn, and Tae was nervous than ever.

Seokjin went first, he was scared too and quite hesitating but he still did it.

2nd was Hoseok, who's also scared, but lucky that he got a shot.

Namjoon was next, he's fine. But quite clumsy to not get a shot.

Next was their other teammates. It was a blur, until it was Tae's turn.

He took a step forward and got a view of how high the edge was. The lagoon was also somehow deep.

He's scared of heights, its not even funny.

He gathered all his courage and held onto the vine.

He positioned himself and dared to jump.

But he's been doing those since lots of seconds ago, and his trainer was growing impatient.

"Relax, Taehyung!" He shouted from afar.

But that didn't give courage to Tae, but rather pressure.

Bogum noticed that he was shaking since he was behind Tae. He suddenly thought of one thing.

"Do you have thalassophobia?" He asked, and Tae didn't even lie,

"Yes."

And now, Bogum got why he's this scared.

"You can do it Tae!" Hoseok encouraged from below.

"Taehyung, do you trust me?"

Tae immediately turned to him with teary eyes. His brows we're furrowed due to frustration.

"Why would you ask that now—"

"Do you trust me? Its a yes or a no."

Tae doesn't know what he's planning, but his mind is a mess now.

"Yes."

Bogum quickly pulled him by his waist, Tae's back can feel his body from behind. He can even hear Bogum's breathing.

"As soon as I jump, shoot your arrow." Bogum said, Tae felt quite confused.

"Huh?—AH!" He was surprised when Bogum lifted him up and they jumped together.

Due to shock, Tae didn't get to shot his arrow. Instead, he just held onto Bogum's arms and let the water engulf them.

As soon as they arose from the water, the other soldiers were somehow laughing and smiling. He didn't know if he should be ashamed.

"That's nice team work. But you both need to do it again because you didn't get to shoot on the wood." The trainer ordered.

Tae sighed and immediately hopped out of the water with his wet clothes.

They went up again the edge, but this time, Tae had some courage.

He positioned himself and held onto the vine. "Tae, do you want me to jump with you?"

Bogum felt worried, he understood his phobias. Tae looked back and gave him a thankful smile. "Its alright."

Tae took a deep breath and let himself swung.

As soon as he reach the middle, he let go of the vine and pulled his bow & arrow.

And he got to shot the wood.

He fell onto the water, and everyone was clapping, "Great job, next!" The trainer ordered.

Even though he's shaking, he's proud of himself.
