Jungkook sat bolt upright as soon as he felt himself drifting asleep. He saw the moon and its approximately 10 in the evening.

He's been waiting for 9 hours now. But he made his waiting time productive since he did some important works.

But up to now, Tae hasn't come.

He thought that maybe he's just busy. Maybe he's doing something right now, and he'll come later.

But he's been thinking that for the past few hours and even Tae's shadow wasn't seen.

He felt a bit unmotivated, but he still wanted to wait for him.

"He'll come, he will."

While on the other hand, Tae was standing right in front the camp gate. It was his turn to guard it until 12 in midnight.

He was still, but his thoughts were so occupied.

He knew Jungkook was waiting. But he wasn't ready for what he's gonna say.

Truth hurts, eh?

Right before his eyes, woman on horse with another guy on another horse.

It was quite odd for him too see that especially that there is a curfew for people when night.

The face became clear, and he can hear his heart break again when he saw Lisa — Jungkook's fiancée.

Lisa went down the horse and they bowed to each other. Luckily, Tae was with his other team mate on duty so he's not alone.

"Goodevening Miss Manoban, Captain Jeon is inside his office."

Tae immediately said without having an eye contact with her.

He heard Lisa chuckled.

"I'm not here for him. But rather for you." Tae immediately looked up to surprise, what did she just say?

"Me?" He asked again, cuz what if he's just hearing things?

Lisa nodded, "Yes. I need to talk to you." She said and Tae felt nervous.

"Can I borrow him for awhile?"

She asked the other soldier, and he nodded. "Don't worry, it wont be long. My guard can substitute him for awhile."

They went beside the camp where there is a small park. Its night, but the sky is brighter than black.

"What can I do for you Mrs. Jeon?"

Lisa giggled. "Mrs. Jeon?" She asked and Tae nodded. "You're his fiancée, you're soon to be a Jeon."

He flashed a smile, even though he's dying emotionally. His heart is aching knowing that he's talking to the person who is going to marry the person he loves.

"Actually," Lisa sat on the bench near the tree. "I'm here to talk to you about that."

Tae gulped, he doesn't know why he's nervous. He's always avoiding this topic, but now — it has come to an end.

"W-What about it?" He asked, sitting not far beside her.

Lisa sighed, "Jungkook trusts you, so I know that I can trust you too." Tae slowly nodded.

"But promise me that you won't tell anyone about everything that I'll tell you."

What is this? Why is it scaring him to death? "I promise."

Within just words, its enough to make Taehyung freeze. Literally freeze — he has stopped breathing for a while.

"We're not truly fiancées." Eyes shot open in the state of shock, unable to blink. Lisa was expecting that reaction.

"What...?" Tae has so many questions, but only that word came out from his mouth.

"I know what you two have in between. And I'm telling you this because I don't want to ruin anything."

Without noticing, tears fell from Tae's eyes — joy and sadness — either of the two.

"T-then why did you two pretend to be that?" He asked, he feels so confused. What's the need of pretending about that?

Lisa sighed. "I can't tell you everything yet. But thank you for saving him in the court. I hired an attorney for him but your father killed her."

"Your father hired a judge to set him up in death sentence so since I have some connections in the court, I changed the judge that attended the hearing. Jungkook was supposed to be the attorney to himself but you made it easier for him. Thank you so much."

"I have many more to tell you but I think that's his job now."

Tae has no words left in him, but the tears won't stop falling. He can't believe what he's hearing.

"He's waiting for you, please go talk to him. He's been talking & thinking about you ever since that day."

"I-I can't, I'm scared—"

Lisa held his hand to comfort & make him feel better.

"You don't have too. He trusts you and I hope you do too. Jungkook loves you so much and only the gods know how much. I know you do too. I did my part, now its your turn to fix each other."

It took Tae awhile to sink in everything that Lisa told him. But he  thought she's right.

"I guess you're right. Nothing will happen if I'll just avoid him."

They stood up and Tae dried his tears. "Thank you so much for telling me. I assure you that you can trust me."

Lisa smiled, she felt happy that she knew he helped. She's quite feeling guilty because she knew that Tae was avoiding Jungkook because of her, and she can't take the guilt anymore.

"B-But, are you not disgusted of a man inlove with a man?"

Tae asked, he felt quite scared.

Lisa shook her head. "Why would I be? I mean it's quite weird and new for me but I think we should normalize that."

Tae felt touched about her words, he felt guilty for being mad at her. She's a nice girl.

They went back to the gate and right before Lisa leaves, she spoke.

"Mr. Kim, please always be careful. Especially of your dad." Tae felt like it has other meanings, but he let it slide.

He flashed a sincere smile and nodded, then Lisa left.

Its already 12 in the midnight, and Jungkook lost hope.

Another day has started again, and he knew that Tae won't come anymore. He sighed with his heavy heart.

"I hurt him so bad. I probably deserve this." He said and he can feel tears from his eyes.

But all his pain was washed off when a knock on the door broke the silence.

He had no second thoughts and immediately opened it.

His heart was beating so fast, and he can feel it beating through his head.

"H-hey." Thats all the words he said. "I thought you weren't co—"

A pair of lips met his, he pause in his state of shock. He did not expect him to do that.

But soon after, he felt himself kissing back. The sound of the door closing was heard and they felt more safe.

Lips were moving in chorus, and even tears started falling down.

They missed that kind of sensation, even if it just happened once, they still did. It felt like a thousand of years since they saw each other.

Their hands were exploring each others. All touching and kissing, no one would judge them in their own little world.

Tae did not even noticed that Jungkook has carried him onto his desk, and he's not sitting on the edge.

It felt like hours of kissing, & they'll never be tired of it. Tae clung his arms around Koo's nape to deepen the kiss, and he can feel his hands snake around his waist.

It's overwhelming for Tae, they broke the kiss and that's when he started to break into tears.

Sobs were against Jungkook's shoulders, and he can't feel his tears dropping down his clothes.

Out of happiness, he shed a tear — he's never cried, but now is a different story.

"I'm sorry for being mad at you, I'm sorry for not believing you, I'm sorry for avoiding you, I'm so dumb, I'm sorry, I really am—"

"Shh...you're not on fault."

They went silent for awhile, hugging each other and knowing that they have together...finally.

They missed this, they missed being beside each other, being all comfortable and happy.

And finally, afterall the happenings, they're back to each other's arms.

They finally calmed down from crying, and now, it's time for a serious talk.

Tae fidgeted on his finger, "D-Did you wait for too long?" He asked.

"11 hours isn't long." Tae laughed at him but he felt bad too. Thats so long.

"I'm sorry, for not hearing you out first. Lisa talked to me and explained everything."

"Then I guess I had nothing to say anymore?" Jungkook chuckled and Tae smiled.

"You have so many, but I don't want to talk about serious things for now."

He quickly placed a kiss on Jungkook's lip and it made him startled, but he smiled after.

"I missed you."

"You're being brave now? Kissing me suddenly?"

Tae smacked him on the arm which made him laugh. He's teasing him again. "I take it back. I didn't miss you."

Tae was the one surprised now when Jungkook placed a quick kiss on his lips.

"I missed you too, hyung."

Tae blushed at the sudden honorific.

Without holding back, they devoured each others lips again. Touching and kissing here and there.

And who knows what happened that night?
