[ A MONTH LATER ]

Tae just finished eating lunch. Its 12 in the afternoon and all of the studs are on their break.

Its been a month and he still hasn't talked to Jimin. He still feel mad about him and he knows that its not right to talk to him for now.

But he misses him.

Of course, who wouldn't miss him? They're always together for almost 24/7. Probably partners in crime already. They've grown together and he's really happy that Jimin is his best friend.

He sighed and shook his thoughts out. He needs to distract himself. Probably read something?

He was on his way to the library when he saw Mrs. Min coming on his way.

He cursed under his breath. Oh fuck, he still haven't done his report and he forgot that today is the deadline.

Well by deadline — he's really dead.

He slowly took a turn and pretened like he didn't see his teacher. But unfortunately, she called him out. "Mr. Kim! I've been looking for you actually." Mrs. Min said and Tae took a sigh.

What's he gonna do now?

"Why is that?" He took out a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head.

"U know why. I need your report."

He's literally cursing mentally using 20483920 languages to try and summon a portal so he can get out of this.

"Oh...about that..." he started. His thoughts we're scattered and he doesn't know how to say it.

"I...I did not do it." He looked down at his feet, afraid of seeing her reaction. But he heard a deep sigh. "I have no words for you Mr. Kim. I gave you all the chances to keep up but you still didn't do it."

She crossed her arms above her chest.

"This is your last chance. If you don't submit ur report within another month then

I'm sorry but I'm reporting you to the principal's office." She left and Tae's mouth went agape.

Principal's office? Oh god no — just no. Just because of that one subject he'll get reported? He's been trying to maintain a good record eversince highschool!

He sighed and ran. He didn't know where he was going but he just followed the tracks of his own foot.

He wanted to shout, cry and break anything that he sees. He feel so angry and sad at the same time.

History is just an easy subject. But he really doesn't have interest in it.

He reached the rooftop. No one was there, but he could see evrything from up here.

His knees went weak and he stumbled on the floor. He feel so pressured about everything thats happening to him.

Its his 4th year of college, he's almost graduating but why is this all happening?

"I fucking wish I lived in the year where it happened so I wouldn't have to do all this shit." He cried out.

Time passed and his tears were all dried up. It was just a moment of weakness maybe?

He didn't noticed that it was already his Art class. He's super late.

But he felt so down and he can't even run.

He went downstairs and he reached the 3rd floor. It felt so odd because it was so quiet.

The classroom doors were closed but even though theyre having classes, its not this quiet.

He just shrugged it off and continued walking.

He finally reached his classroom. The door was closed and it looked different.

"The door is not like this before..." he muttered while looking at the scratchy wooden door.

He opened the door but he found no one inside. Its just all double-decked beds and bags.

He furrowed his brows. He probably entered the wrong room.

But no.

This is his classroom number. Its very clear and there's no way the teacher would move classrooms without him knowing.

And plus, why would there be beds and bags here? This is a school, not a cabin.

He looked around but he saw no one. He felt nervous as it sound so quiet and he feels like he's the only person here.

He explored his gaze and saw the signs engraved on the walls.

"Why is there traditional hanguls here?" He asked himself. He's never seen those before. Weird.

He decided to take a walk in the hallway. There's seriously no one in here. Its been some minutes and he still haven't seen any students.

He's starting to get scared. "I wish Jimin was here..." he was slightly tearing up. Jimin was always there for him whenever he feels lost.

And now, he misses him even more.

"Ouch!" He bumped onto someone while walking. How dumb of him, he didn't even see that person coming.

He looked at the person and saluted before bowing. It was a soldier.

"I'm sorry sir!" He said and dared to leave, but only a few steps were made when the soldier called him out. "Excuse me, who are you?" The soldier asked with an intriguing voice.

"I'm a student here, sir." He said and he saw the soldier took a hold of his gun in his pocket.

His heart started to beat faster. "Student? Do u have any believable excuse?" Tae looked so confused.

"W-What? I'm a student here. What are you talking about?" He asked and the soldier took out his gun, and pointed it to him.

"Don't you dare move." Tae raised both of his hands like he's surrendering. He felt so stiff and nervous.

The soldier took out his radio and spoke against it while his eyes were still watching Tae.

"Hello, this is Private First Class Jung Jae In. I found a spy lurking in here."

Tae's eyes bawled. "What?! I'm not a spy—!" But he was shut when the soldier shook the gun.

"3rd floor, left hallway. He's wearing weird clothes, Idk how to express it in words. Please send a back-up."

The soldier took down his radio and held the gun with both hands. "Sir, I s-swear I'm not a spy I'm just student—"

"Save ur excuses in the investigation room."

Tae's jaw dropped. "Investigation room?! Are you for real?!"

But the soldier did not respond — instead, he slowly walked towards him with his gun still pointed to him.

"W-Why are you coming close?!" Tae was literally panicking.
