Erin forgot completely about the she-devil next to her once the match started. She cheered loudly and everytime the Irish scored, she'd jump in Oliver's arms, overcome with joy. And the Irish scored a lot. The Bulgarian Chaser Viktor Krum was able to catch the Snitch, but Ireland had gathered so many points that they still lost. It happened rarely, but of course it did at the quidditch finale.

Erin cheered her throat hoarse as the referee ended the game.

"That was epic!" she said, her cheeks pink from the excitement. Marlo had been a lot more behaved during the match, occasionally applauding, but always as if she'd just sat through a two-hour-long speech. Erin didn't. She had a blast and she was not afraid to show it.

"You enjoyed yourself?" Oliver asked, a huge smile on his face. He had to shout to be understandable over the cheering crowd.

"Of course I did! Thank you for taking me!" Erin yelled back. They stood up to leave and Erin ignored the mocking looks Marlo threw at her. She'd have to put up with her for a couple more hours though, as the Puddlemere United team (and their plus-ones) were having a little after-party. They'd stay the night and tomorrow they'd go back to Oliver's house, as she'd be leaving for Hogwarts in just four days.

Erin grabbed Oliver's hand tightly to not lose him in the crowd. He protectively wrapped an arm around her waist, which made her smile like an idiot.

They finally made it out and Erin admired the fireworks that were colouring the sky. Everyone was so happy, even the Bulgarian supporters, and the atmosphere was simply brilliant.

"You're really cute, you know", Oliver said, taking her by surprise.

"What? What do you mean?" she asked, blushing.

"You get happy because of the smallest things. You smile a lot, it's cute."

"Captain, we're at the Quidditch World Cup. I don't think that's a small thing", Erin laughed.

"You know what I mean", he complained, bumping her shoulder.

"Well, I have a lot of things to be happy about." She looked up at Oliver to see him staring back at her, a loving look in his eyes.

"Come on, you two. We need to get this party started!" Benjy walked past, dragging them both with him to a big, blue tent. It was decorated with the big Puddlemere United logo. Lots of the team members were already inside and the atmosphere was joyful and relaxed, which made Erin relax a bit too. She felt like a child among these players, but she was not going to let that show, especially because Marlo bloody Deverill was there too.

She was getting herself a drink, so Erin dragged Oliver to the other side of the tent, where some of his teammates were sitting around a fire.

"So, Wood, when are you going to introduce us to your lovely lady?" One of his team mates grinned as they sat down in one of the couches. Erin had stayed in a magical tent before, but she still thought it was so remarkable what magic could do.

"Ah, right now, I guess", Oliver chuckled. "This is Erin, my girlfriend. Erin, this is Erold, Jocelyn, Brent, Xavier and Samira." Erin looked at Oliver's team mates and waved awkwardly, whimpering a small "hi". She really needed to work on her confidence.

"She's still in high school, isn't that cute?" Erin heard, which caused her mood to drop severely.

"Here you go, you seemed thirsty, Ollie", Marlo said and handed him a cup of Pumpkin Juice, sitting on the other side of him. Oliver awkwardly took the cup. Erin wondered if he noticed how flirty Marlo was behaving. She didn't like it one bit.

"What would you like to drink, love?" Oliver asked her, shaking her from her thoughts.

"Oh, I'll get myself a cup of Pumpkin Juice, don't worry", she said. Oliver shook his head and handed her the cup.

"I'll go get another, have this one", he said and stood up. Erin blushed at how nice Oliver was being, even around his new friends. Men always had the tendency to lose the charming, gentleman side when around their pals. Oliver didn't at all and it caused a whole zoo to erupt in Erin's stomach.

Marlo shot her a nasty glare, so Erin smirked and took a satisfying sip from her drink. She shrugged slightly at Marlo before turning back to the rest of the team.

Puddlemere United was really great fun. Erin got to know most of them a bit and they seemed very laid back and close, even though their ages ranged from eighteen to almost thirty. What Erin liked a little less was that Oliver talked with Marlo quite a bit. He didn't do anything wrong, he just spoke with her, so Erin tried her best not to be jealous. She was not going to be angry at him, as Oliver was too oblivious to notice her moves. As long as he didn't show the same behaviour, everything was fine. It was just hard to focus on the other conversations because she was so focused on the one beside her.

"You seem deep in thought", Benjy noticed. "What are you thinking about?" Erin emptied her head, worrying herself way more than what was necessary.

"Nothing much, just school things", she said awkwardly.

"You're going to Hogwarts?" he asked. "Always wanted to go there, but my parents insisted on homeschooling", he shrugged.

"That's unfortunate. Hogwarts is great", Erin said.

"I've heard so. What house are you in?"

"I'm a Hufflepuff", Erin said proudly. Other people often made fun of Hufflepuffs as they didn't understand them, but Erin was proud to be one. Society would be chaos without Hufflepuffs.

"Cool, I thought so", he grinned.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"No harm, no harm. You seem kind and caring. Maybe a bit of a wuz."

"Rude!" Erin laughed. She barely knew Benjy, but he seemed great fun. He was definitely a Gryffindor, already making fun of her one minute into the conversation. But it was a good kind of mocking, not like Marlo would do.

Thinking about her made Erin glance at them again, but they were still deep in conversation. Benjy seemed to notice her worried look, because he immediately pulled her attention away from them.

"You can always prove me wrong, you know?" he shrugged.

"And how do you want me to do so?" Benjy thought about that for a while, until a smirk appeared on his face.

"How about you steal the Montrose Magpies flag? Their tent is right across from ours."

"Stealing?" Erin gasped. "That's illegal you know?"

"Not if we give it back afterwards", Benjy shrugged. Erin narrowed her eyes, trying to figure out what to do. Going out and stealing that flag would be kind of epic and Beatrice would be so incredibly proud of her, but she normally wasn't the kind of person to do such things.

"Is that wuz-behaviour I see?" Benjy sang. Erin huffed and stood up.

"Just you wait and see", she stated, pulling her hair into a ponytail.

"Oh, getting serious I see", Benjy laughed.

"Where are you going?" Oliver asked confused. He hadn't followed their conversation, but the lack of Erin's presence had pulled him away from his conversation with Marlo.

"I'm going on a nightly adventure", Erin laughed.

"What?" Oliver frowned, amused by Erin's smile.

"I'm going to be mischievous for once. The twins would be proud", she said.

"Why?"

"Because Benjy thinks I'm a wuz!" Erin said, pointing her finger at the Seeker besides her, shooting him a glare. "And I'm going to show him that I'm not."

Oliver looked at Benjy, who was sporting a bright smile, and then back at Erin, who poked out her tongue at Benjy. He had missed their entire conversation, so he had no clue what to think of this. He felt something he hadn't felt for months: jealousy.

"See you in a bit", Erin said. She flashed Oliver one last smile, which calmed him down a little, before she turned around and walked out of the tent.

The Montrose Magpies tent was just a couple yards away from theirs and there were not many people around. Erin tiptoed to their flag pole and got out her wand. Manually removing the flag would cause way too much noise and would take too much time.

"Relashio", she whispered and watched as the ropes holding the flag untied themselves. The flag slowly fell down and Erin grabbed it quickly before running back into the Puddlemere United tent.

"Call me a wuz again, Benjy", she grinned as she entered the tent. She held out the flag as Benjy cheered for her. Oliver smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes, which worried Erin a little. She was just having some fun.

A shout was heard just outside of the tent, causing Erin to turn around again.

"Oh no, she got caught!" Benjy roared with laughter. But Erin didn't get caught. As she looked outside, her eyes widened. Just a minute ago, there was barely anyone outside, it had been quiet. Now, there was chaos.

She saw fire in the distance and people were screaming. Who the hell had set their tent on fire? She didn't panic until she could distinguish one of the screams: Death Eaters!

Oliver popped up behind her and looked over her shoulders. In the distance, she could see dark figures, the flames behind them flickering dangerously.

"What the-", Oliver mumbled. He automatically wrapped a protective arm around her waist.

"Oliver", Erin stammered in fear. "Those are Death Eaters. Death Eaters are here." They shared one scared look, before forcing themselves to action.

"Death Eaters are outside!" Oliver shouted. Benjy and Jocelyn had realised what was happening too, so they quickly gathered their stuff.

"Everyone get out!" Jocelyn yelled. "They're setting everything on fire!"

Erin ran to get her bag, Oliver on her heels.

"Merlin Erin, stay with me please", he said, grabbing her hand. Erin nodded immediately, following him outside. The Death Eaters had gotten closer now, which meant they needed to run. Oliver grabbed Erin's hand tightly and together, they followed the stream of people, away from the dark figures.

We should have apparated right away, Erin cursed as she was pushed around by loads of people. They could not apparate here without getting splinched, but everywhere she looked, there were panicking crowds.

Erin was pushed roughly and lost her balance. Her hand ripped from Oliver's as she fell down harshly. She tried to block her fall with her hands, but cut her right hand on a rock. She grunted as people stepped onto her and kicked her accidentally.

"Hey, watch out!" she heard. Oliver was standing in front of her, shielding her from more feet.

"Come on, love", he said and gently pulled her up. She felt sore, but they needed to move.

"You okay?" Oliver asked worried, his eyes flickering between Erin's eyes and the Death Eaters in the distance.

"I'm fine", she said and started running again. Oliver held her much, much closer, not letting her get hurt again.

"Come on, here, we can apparate!" Oliver shouted, pulling her to the left. They ducked behind one of the tents and had a couple square feet to themselves. Oliver got out his wand and pulled Erin tightly against him. Erin felt the familiar feeling of apparition and soon, all the noise, the shouts and screams disappeared.

"Are you okay?" Oliver asked again as they appeared in front of Oliver's house.

"Yeah, I'm fine, really", Erin said. "Just tired."

Oliver nodded and opened the door, gently guiding Erin inside. It was somewhere in the middle of the night, so they quietly put their stuff away, at least those things they had managed to grab on their way out, and sat down at the kitchen table.

"Your hand's got to be taken care of", Oliver said, examining the wound. It was a deep cut, but nothing a little magic couldn't solve. He wet a cloth and sat down beside her. He took her hand and carefully cleaned the wound.

"Episky", he said and the wound closed, leaving only a minor scar.

"You seem to have done that more often", Erin grinned.

"Of course, I always go all out at quidditch practice. Goes wrong sometimes", he chuckled. Erin suddenly felt the need to hug him, so she stood up and wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling her face in the crook of his neck.

Oliver's arms soon snaked around her waist, pulling her close.

"Hey, you sure you're okay?" he asked again, giving her a small kiss on her forehead.

"I am, I just really wanted a hug." Erin was tired and sore. What a night it had been. They were events they'd discuss tomorrow though, as she had no energy left.

"You really took that with you?" Oliver grinned as he noticed the Montrose Magpies flag hanging from her bag. Erin chuckled. She hadn't even noticed the thing.

"I guess I did." She looked up and Oliver looked equally as tired as her. He slowly kissed her before placing one hand on her back and one under her legs, picking her up.

"What are you doing?" Erin smiled as she steadied herself by wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Carrying you", he simply stated. He shut off the lights and walked up the stairs.

Erin's pyjamas consisted of one of Oliver's sweaters and a pair of his shorts, which she had realised were way more comfortable than women's pyjamas. She quickly changed before getting into Oliver's bed. She grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the bed with her.

"Wait, love, I need a shirt", he said, smiling at her sleepy state.

"I prefer you without a shirt, actually", Erin grinned, still trying to pull him towards her. After a while he just gave up and got into the bed with her.

"You're a handful, you know", he sighed, a smile on his face. He pulled the covers over the two of them as Erin re-positioned herself, her head resting on his chest.

"You knew what you were getting yourself into", she grinned, wrapping her arms around his torso. She could stay here forever and be completely fine with it.

"I love you", he whispered, giving her one last kiss on her head before closing his eyes.

"I love you too, Captain."
