"Why do I have to go?" You whined, putting your head on the cafeteria table.

"Because you might finally get a lover. Or at least a date." Emi rolled her eyes.

"Yeah just go with Suna-kun." Misa giggled.

You looked up at Rin, who just shrugged, "I have no problem with it."

"Of course you don't." Osamu rolled his eyes.

"And Misa. You can go with Osamu." You smirked, earning a smack from Misa.

"Shut up!" She huffed.

"Ow!" You whined.

"Anyway..." Atsumu cringed, "The party is at six."

"Kay." Misa agreed.

The bell rung, indicating that lunch was over and a new class would soon begin. You walked with Emiko and split up with the other four.

"So have you fallen for Suna yet?" She asked.

"What do you mean yet? I'm not falling for him."

"Oh god." She face palmed.

Either way I'm not telling you. That's not happening again.

She then realized why you wouldn't tell her anything. The perfect way to provoke you, bringing up the man you had feelings for before.

"Are you afraid to tell me after what happened with you and Kane before? I thought-" She chuckled in a way that made you a bit angry.

So many emotions rushed to you at once. You felt so much anger as the memories flooded your system. The fact that she brought that up just made you mad. You walked a little ahead and turned your emotions off as best as you could.

You tried to keep it from happening but a bit of anger laced your voice, "Shut up. Leave him out of this. I don't wanna talk about it." You walked away.

You didn't want to even go to class after she said that. You didn't even want to be in her presence. You needed to find a bathroom.

You walked into the bathroom and went into one of the stalls. You leaned on the wall and took out your phone.

You called your mom and asked if your father was home. Luckily, he wasn't. She had informed you that earlier that day, after you left for school, her and your father went for a business trip. It would last two weeks or so. She tried to tell you but you had already left.

Good, I can have the house to myself for once.

You thanked her and hung up. You thought about leaving school for the day. That wouldn't work though, your father would find out and you would have to sleep as soon as he got back until he calmed down.

You walked into the classroom and all eyes were on you. Among the sets of eyes, you noticed some pretty green ones. The boy who normally sat behind you was sitting in the seat next to yours.

"Your late l/n." Your teacher eyed you.

"I know. I had to do something." You mumbled.

The teacher sighed, "Since it doesn't happen often, I won't get on you for it but don't let it happen again please."

"Yes ma'am."

"Go sit down."

"Mhm."

You sat down and immediately got a tap on the shoulder. You turned to face your seat partner.

"What happened to you?" Rin's eyes met yours.

"Nothing important."

"Hm." He decided to not bring up what Emiko said to him a few minutes ago.

"Anyway, wanna go to my house after school?"

"Oh? Is the Y/n L/n asking me to make plans?" He teased.

You side glared him, "So is that a yes?"

"Yeah."

"Fine with me. I'm home alone anyway."

You both payed attention to class and watched as your teacher taught her lesson. A small smile creeped on Rin's lips as he got excited. It was your first time asking him to do anything. A lot of the time it was him wanting to hang out.

Class ended and your relief was through the roof. You packed up your stuff and went to your locker.

You opened the locker. And took the stuff you wanted or needed to take home. You heard a bunch of footsteps and you were blinded by two hands blocking your vision.

"Guess who?" A masculine voice teased.

"Rin? What are you, a school girl?" You rolled your eyes playfully.

"Yep."

"Heh."

You walked with him to your house. You unlocked the door and walked in the house, remembering to take your shoes off at the door. He took of his as well.

You both walked upstairs and sat on the flore In your room. "That party starts in like two hours." Rin looked at the clock.

"Yeah it does. I don't even wanna go." You sighed.

"Well I guess we'll just have to go."

"Yeah it won't be that bad if your there."

"Really?"

"I didn't mean to say that."

He smirked, "Or did you?" He got closer.

You had just noticed then and there that he was that close to you. You tried your best not to kiss him. You didn't even realize he was holding back too. Ha expression changed to a more zoned out one.

He looked at you, deep into your eyes. Almost as if he was trying to figure you out.

Your phone went off and you broke eye contact with him to see your Fathers name pop up on your screen.

You answered, hearing your father's voice, "Hey can you do me a favor."

"K."

"Go switch my computer off."

"Ok."

"Bye."

"Bye."

You rolled your eyes and moved your fingers to the hang up button. You hung up and turned your phone off.

You saw a few notifications, one of them being from the group chat. It was just Atsumu telling you that you could arrive like thirty minutes earlier if you wanted.

"You good?" Rin asked raising a brow.

"Yeah, just my father asking me to do the one thing he can never remember to do." You got up.

"Can I help?"

"It's just to power his computer off. I'm guessing so no one goes through it."

He followed you out the room and downstairs to your father's office. You approached the computer and moved the mouse just a little. This time, you were tired of this, you wanted to see why he was always asking you to reset the computer.

You opened his search engine and a look of disappointment spread across your face. It wasn't even disappointing it was disgusting.

Manager

So are you available tomorrow?

Yeah I just gotta escape my wife lmao

Ok because I really need "help"

Oh I can surely "help" you

Rin had also seen. He looked at your face to make sure you weren't too upset about it.

To his surprise, you were just disgusted. "This is sad." You rolled your eyes and powered off the computer after taking a picture with your phone.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah it's not my problem."

"You're gonna tell your mom?"

"I dunno yet. Ill see how I'm feeling later."

"Ok." He put his arm around your shoulder.

"We should get ready now huh?" You asked.

"Yeah sure."

You walked out of the office and Rin put his shoes on. "I'm gonna go change real quick and then I'll come pick you up, Kay?"

"Kay."

He left and you walked upstairs and changed into a comfortable outfit. You weren't really one for overdressing.

You heard the doorbell ring and you went to go answer it. Standing at the door, Rin with baggy ripped jeans and a hoodie looked down at you.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Hey." You mumbled.

You grabbed your bag and put on your shoes. You walked out the door, noticing an unfamiliar car in the driveway.

"We're not walking Osamu's house is far."

"Oh yeah that makes sense."

"Mhm." He chuckled.

He opened the passengers door for you, "After you princess," he smirked.

"You're dumb." You laughed lightly, making your brunette friend blush a little. It was another thing you didn't do too often.

He closed your door and got in on his side. Your laugh still in his head. He started the engine and pulled out the driveway.

Haha another update. I started writing this and I guess the writers block as lifted. Remind me to make more cliffhangers.

Anyways... I don't really have any news or anything. This book has survived a lot longer than my other books I've attempted to write.

And the plot will actually be starting soon. Bye!
