You looked around as Rin set his bags down on the floor of the room he just checked into.

He skimmed his eyes around the room. Making sure it was up to his standards.

"It's nice." He shrugged.

You were in awe at the sight. It had a beautiful balcony. The room was amazing.

You stood at the balcony, looking down at everything.

"Be careful please." Rin reminded, keeping a close eye on you.

"Mhm." You hummed.

You could still tell he was stressed. Something about him was off. He didn't seem like Rin.

You calmed yourself down. You looked back at him, wind pushing you slightly.

He stared at you for a couple seconds, admiring you like a piece of art. He wished time could stop, it was almost too pretty to be true.

"Wanna tell me what's really going on now?" You mumbled.

"Don't, you know I can't resist you when you're like this."

"Like what?" A confusion was raised in your voice.

You went back inside the room, closing the balcony door. You messed with your outfit.

"You're so cute." He smiled a little.

"But I'm not nearly as cute as Laila. You know? The new one in our class?" That slipped out.

"Who's that?"

"Oh no one."

"Laila..." he thought for a moment, "What her!? I wish you would say some shit like that again Y/n you're way cuter than her."

You were surprised by his sudden reaction to your comment, "I didn't mean to say that out-"

You were interrupted by a sudden feel of heat on your neck. You shivered at the sensation.

"No one's cuter than you." Rin sternly reminded.

You couldn't manage to get a word in before he moved away. He seemed a little embarrassed about his sudden outburst but you didn't mind it.

"You know what, I'm kind of confused. You're acting weird today." You admitting.

"I know." 

"Wanna tell me why?"

"It's just.. my dads back and this time he was drunk and when I went downstairs he was babbling about how much he missed my mother and that 'sexy' body of hers. I know she's being used but for some reason she sided with him. So I'm leaving for a bit. Yame will be fine since she isn't ever at the house anyways but I don't want you there because of how he was last time." He admitted.

"That's why you've been so aggressive lately?"

"Yeah sorry."

"No it's fine I don't mind it I was just asking."

"Mhm."

You softly kissed him on the lips. The way no one else could. He knew that only you could still give him major butterflies months into the relationship.

You knew he was the only person who could make you feel the way you do.

"So, I'll stay here with you. If you want." You mumbled.

"I do want you to stay here with me."

"That's fine then. Let's go pick up my stuff later?"

"Yeah let's do that." He agreed.

You both smiled softly. You liked the idea of staying somewhere new with him. It felt like you would move in with each other.

"We'll need stuff for the hotel if we're gonna stay here for a while." He reminded.

"Yeah we are." You agreed, "So how long do you plan on staying?"

"At least a month. That should give me enough time to calm down. I do feel a lot better with you here though."

"How do I make you feel better?"

"I Don't know, it's different with you around. My feelings are so much easier to express."

"Yeah I feel the same. I like you you're easy to talk to."

"Yeah? Well i would hope so." He chuckled.

You felt your phone vibrate in your jacket pocket. You answered it immediately and heard a familiar voice.

"Y/n!?" Misas worried voice chimed.

"Yeah?"

"Where are you? I thought you said you'd show up to school today?"

"Oh I had a small set back. I can't go today."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm at a hotel with Rin. We'll be staying here for a while since he's got family issues."

"Oh. You're still in Hyogo right?"

"Uh huh. I'm just not at home. I can send you the address if you want."

"Ok yeah do that."

"Mk."

"Alright I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah you will."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

You hung up the phone and looked back at Rin, "Sorry that was Misa. I told her I'd show up to school today and I didn't."

"Oh. Yeah I heard her and samu are having some issues. His mom said something to her or something."

"Oh yeah she told me she was getting dogged because of her thighs. But oh well, it doesn't matter if she has a thigh gap or not."

"What because of her thighs?"

"Mhm."

"Oh damn. That mustve really sucked."

"Yeah."

You shrugged and laid down on the bed. You saw a few messages of Misa and Kenma just asking if you guys could go to a McDonald's to meet up for some ice cream.

"Rin im going out with Misa. I'll be right back. Give me about 30mins alright?" You slipped your shoes on.

"Alright that's fine. The twins are coming over anyways so take your time." He kissed you on the forehead.

You left out the hotel to Misas house. There, you guys went to the closest McDonald's and met Kenma there.

"Hey ken ken!" You smiled, hugging your friend.

"Helloo." He smiled back at you.

"Yo y/n you bitch you left me." Misa complained.

"Yeah I know." You giggled and went inside the fast food restaurant.

There you guys had some food and talked and stuff like that.

Two hours passed you forgot. Time flew by.

Misa agreed to drive you home since it was dark.

You got a few messages and automatically recognized the ringtone.
