You felt your eyes become lighter and lighter. Your body went to grab someone who obviously wasn't there.

You sat up a little, looking at your clock, it read 2:42 am.

It took you about 2 seconds to realize, it was a dream, and it burned. You felt tears run down your cheeks and you didn't even know until one hit your hand.

That's what triggered it...

"I... I have feelings... For..." Tears stared to well up in your eyes, "Rintaro," The tears fell down your cheeks fast.

Your eyes felt like waterfalls, no matter how much you cried, they just fell more. It eventually stopped, your crying had seized. The tears stopped falling.

You felt your heat beating fast, you were thinking about him again.

I'm gonna tell my father, tell him who I really have feelings for.

You didn't know how, but you managed to fall asleep again, yearning for your newfound love.

••••••••••••••

You woke up to the fresh smell of waffles, it was a Saturday so you had no school and your parents had no work.

You walked downstairs and spotted your mother in the dinning room with your father, waffles on the table.

"Oh good morning Y/n! Good timing, you're just in time for breakfast, come eat!" She chimed.

"Really?" You cocked your head to the side a little.

"Mhm!" She pointed to your seat with a small smile.

You sat down as a plate of waffles with (all your favorite toppings) on top.

You began to eat the waffles and enjoyed them too, your heart raced as you cleared your throat, "Ahem, Father..." you looked to your father, who had his attention on you now that you had called him.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I need to tell you something, something I've been meaning to tell you.." your nerves shot up, "I- I can't get back with Kane... I'm in love with someone else."

Your fathers eyes were hidden by his hair as he looked down, you could tell this would end up in an argument.

And it did, both of you ended up pretty angry, your anger boiled up inside you, basically screaming at you to tell him off.

You chuckled an intimidating, angered chuckle, "Why the hell do you think that you can chose who I have a relationship with?" Your glare became more deathly, "You act like I can choose who I fall for, who I can share feeling with. IF I COULD DO THAT DONT YOU THINK I WOULD'VE!?" Tears ran down your face.

For the first time in years, your father had seen you cry. He couldn't show it, but he was hurt. You looked so devastatingly broken when you cried.

He turned around, his back facing you, the calmness falling on his face, "Fine, but if he breaks your heart, don't come crying to me, I'm not going to help you." He said in a stern voice.

You fell to the floor, your knees hitting the carpet in your living room. You felt tired from yelling and your throat hurt. You slowly got up and dragged yourself to your room.

You fell back onto your bed and found your way to your phone, it had a few notifications.

So about an hour from now.

Just to be safe you got ready at 2. You left a note on your desk and left at about 2:25. You got there at 2:28.

"Sup." He gave a flirty smirk.

"Hey." You returned the expression.

He opened the door wide enough for you to come inside, so you did. You took off your shoes at the door.

"You got here at the perfect time, seems like she's been exited."

"She, as in your mom?"

"Yup."

He led you to the living room where his mother sat comfortably on the couch. She glanced over and a smile lit up her face.

She jumped from the couch and chimed, "Oh it's you! I'm so glad your here, I'm Rintaro's mother you can call me Yuri." She shook your hand.

"Nice to meet you I'm L/n Y/n, second year." You bowed respectfully.

"Oh yes, Rintaro told me quite a few things about you." She giggled.

"YEAH! HE WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT YOU EITHER!" Yame added, sitting in the dining room with a coloring book.

"How 'bout I take my foot and I-" He was quickly interrupted by his mother.

"You won't say anything more." His mother threatened.

Jeez, at least I know where he gets that glare.

You had no room to talk, since you got yours from your own father.

And it was much more intimidating than Rin's.

You hung out with the three for about an hour. Even if you wanted to leave, Rin got his clinginess from his mother too.

You found it cute when he wanted for you to stay. His mother was the same, 'Oh Please~ at least let me get you some tea!' Though she's a little more sneaky.

There were things you didn't understand. Like how Rin had different colored eyes than both his mother and sister. But you didn't want to ask and bother them.

When it got time for you to actually go, you had a hard time.

You walked outside, Rin followed you. He softly closed the door making sure his sister wouldn't be able to hear him.

"So?" He looked at the sky, "You like?"

"Mhm! They're really nice, and your sisters the same as she always was." You smiled softly.

This again, her smile always makes my mind and heart act this way, always making my heart beat fast but always calming me at the same time. It drives me insane.

He felt his face heat up as he looked away in embarrassment. The sudden feeling made him want to push your limits more, get close to you, learn more about you.

"I noticed something..." Your expression turned soft, "You're mother is a lot like you."

"Yeah people say that a lot." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yeah but you guys are different in a lot of ways as well." You mumbled.

"Like how?"

"You're much more cocky and well..." You thought for a second, "You're more flirtatious."

"Yeah I get that from my father." He looked away, his eyes showing a bit of confusion.

"Really?" You became more interested and wanted to know more.

"Mhm, but I don't see him often."

"How come?"

"He's kinda a jerk," he shrugged.

"Oh," your expression became troubled.

Maybe I shouldn't have asked that.

"Yeah but..." You looked up and saw Rin smiling down at you, his hand on the wall, basically pinning you.

Your face became even hotter.

"I think I'm better than him anyways." He winked.

He put his right hand on your waist pulling you closer. His expression softened, "Can I... kiss you on the cheek?" He asked politely.

You couldn't manage to get anything out of your mouth, so you just nodded.

He kissed you on the cheek, you had to control your urge to kiss him on the mouth.

When he pulled away a small smile formed on his face. You were as hot as a grill by now.

"Here let me walk you home." He smirked.

"Oh.. ok," You felt kind of disappointed and wanted to spend more time with him, but you didn't know if he wanted to and you didn't want him to feel bothered.

"You want me to stay over don't you?" He guessed.

"Yes please." You smiled.

"Alright then, stay here, I'll go grab my things." He chuckled.

You waited patiently for him to come back out.

When he did, you two left to your house.

"Hello Rintaro!" Your mother greeted.

"Hello." Rin bowed.

"It's such a pleasure to have you over again."

"Thank you for having me."

"Mom, we'll be up in my room if you need us." You mumbled.

"Alright~" She giggled.

"What?" Your father was confused at the giggle.

"You don't know?"

"I don't know what."

"Who my girl has feelings for?"

"Who?"

"Rintaro~" She cooed.

"Him?" He scoffed.

"Yup."

"He's like a 'your daughter calls me daddy too' kind of guy."

"F/n!"

"What? I'm just saying." He shrugged.

Hello!

Yeah I'm bored. I wrote this a while ago when I thought this would be perfect to add a bit of 'confusion'.

Ahh yes my favorite word.

Do you get it?
