As the (h/c) haired girl stepped through the blurred glass door, she found a natural scenery that invigorated her. She wasn't sure why, but she felt her body gathering energy and making her feel alive. It was fresh and not at all like the stale polluted air of the city she had once lived in. Perhaps it was because the entirety of the room was comprised of glass walls and a matching roof, gold-lined along the panes. The sunlight poured into it and lit everything up refreshingly.

There was also a surplus of perfectly green shrubs, trees, and numerous flowers, some of which glowed faintly. Curious of why that was, the girl meandered within the room, finding the doors behind her closed with a large noise. Tensing her shoulders, she wondered if her presence could have alerted whoever resided there. However, no noise was made aside from the flapping of some birds' wings or the sniffling of a doe. As such, she wandered towards the faintly glowing flowers, wondering what made them shine.

Peeking into one, she found a small being sleeping soundly, glowing a bright blue. They rubbed their eyes as they sat up, noticing the girl hovering over them. The small thing gave a gentle smile before standing up and placing their hands on her cheek. It then gave a coo and tilted its head before jumping down from the lotus into the water. In doing so, the water below glowed bright blues and greens, rippling slightly.

Giggles echoed through the room before more little creatures not taller than 2 or 3 inches emerged. Some came from the water, having light blue skin whereas others came from the sky or nearby trees, possessing golden glows. The ones that could fly began to braid her hair, entangling small flowers into her locks. Some seemed to want to talk to her as well, but she couldn't understand them. It all just sounded like bells or chirps.

Sooner or later, there was a stirring in the grass just across from the pond. The blue-skinned creatures began to stand up on the lotuses and lilies, giving excited cheers. The flying beings also were excited, some of them flying over to the doe that appeared. It gave a bashful look before directing its eyes back to a young man. It was him that everything attached itself to, fascinated with him. She even noticed he could converse with the small beings whereas they sounded like gibberish to her.

Still, he paused as he noticed the (h/c) haired girl there across the rippling pond. His violet eyes were blank before he fastened them on her, and when realizing what she was, a smile spread from one cheek to the other, tears coming to his eyes. There were more giggles from the small creatures as he rapidly paced around the water and towards the girl. They then quickly dispersed away from the girl as the male fell to his knees in front of her. He was speechless, his eyes shaking and his lip quivering.

It was then that the girl could gain a better glimpse of him. Much like the small things had done to hers, there were flowers braided in his perfectly white hair. Even without touching him, it was obvious his hair was as soft as a feather. His skin was clear and smooth, without a single blemish. He was the most beautiful person she had ever seen, and she supposed it was due to his pure bloodline.

"I'm so happy to meet you," the male sobbed, throwing his arms around the girl without a second thought, "I've been waiting so long just to see you. Really, it's mind-blowing. Welcome."

The white-haired boy gazed at her features with absolute adoration. He had never seen her before nor did he know her as an individual, but still, his breath was being caught in his throat. It was most likely the reason the girl felt so unsettled by him. He hadn't even asked her name yet and he closed in on her lips. Startled, (Y/n) fell back in surprise and held her arms in front of her defensively.

That siren had said something about that, hadn't he? About how the males of her kind were. That being said, she hadn't been listening, too lost in the bounds of the other information she received. However, with the way the unfamiliar male closed in on her, she was beginning to think that listening to what he had to say instead of mindlessly blanking would have helped her out. Cowering, she tried to protect herself, but the male didn't place a hand on her. Rather, after noticing her fearful reaction, he regressed and gave a guilty look upon staring at the ground, his hands obediently in his lap.

"I'm sorry. I've just been waiting for this my entire life. I forgot you would react differently than me..."

There was an awkward silence that proceeded the male's apology. He didn't dare to say another word when the (h/c) haired girl was still clearly uncomfortable. Rather, he seemed to wait on her, occasionally peeking up at her to see her reaction. He would blush a deep red whenever she caught him looking, but he didn't seem to register shame. It seemed more that he was thrilled to feel her eyes on him.

"Isn't there," he mumbled, moving just barely side to side nervously, "anything I can do for you? Do you want...s-something in particular?"

While the younger girl wasn't sure what the male meant by that, she found his bashful look to give her a strange feeling. He bit down on his lip expectantly, waiting for a response. He had also attempted to lean forward to get just a bit closer to her, but once again, noting her uncertain reaction, he quickly moved back to give her space. The male just couldn't start off on the wrong foot or give her a bad impression. It was vital.

"May I...May I have your name?" he stuttered, wondering if she would reject him.

"It's (Y/n)...You?"

"I-I'd be honored if you called me Arun," the male blushed, placing his hand on the girl's cheek before kissing her lips quickly and smiling innocently, "And I'm very impatient, so please forgive me."

. . .

A glass filled to the brim with wine was thrown across the room, shattering on the beige wall. It broke into numerous pieces, the scarlet liquid staining the floor and wall alike. A piece had even managed to fly at a heightened speed, splitting the skin of the siren who had delivered the unsavory news. He touched as his cheek with a blank expression before looking up at the woman that had thrown it. Even if her aim was off, he was not fond of abuse, intended or otherwise.

"What do you mean he won't come?!" she screamed, banging her fist on the table in frustration, "I ordered him to come! He doesn't have a choice in the matter!"

At that point, even the incubus the woman had glued to her side attempted to keep his distance from her, the vampire disappearing into the shadows to avoid her eye. Of course, he reappeared swiftly, the smell of a siren's blood too much to give up. Squeezing the male's throat to the point of suffocation and pushing him to the wall, he began to suckle at the blood leaking from his tanned skin. It was always a rare treat.

"He said he won't leave his match...mistress," the siren continued, hesitantly and begrudgingly calling the woman by such a title while ignoring the vampire's feasting, "That she was vulnerable while sleeping. It has only been a day, after all, and he's been holding back. Maybe giving him time to adapt would help. They are extremely territorial over their women."

"So, what?! I bought him a girl to ignore me? I thought you said this would fix him and bring him back to courting me!"

"On the contrary," the incubus smirked, holding his hands behind his back mischievously, "He's been in a rut all day. Pure little Arun's trying so hard to get some."

"Shut up!" the woman snapped again, lifting another glass and throwing it at the male.

His smile faded, replaced by a look best described as contempt. He held a dark gaze, one that desired to see her subject to the same treatment. No doubt the others felt the same, wanting to see her dead rather alive. But they were bound. None of the males she held under her captivity could go against her word; a "gift" from the auctions she bought them at. He sneered at the thought that the white-haired male was an exception to the rule.

"Kill it! Poison it, starve it, feed it to some of the others, I don't care! Just get rid of it!"

At the sound of that, the vampire that had been milking off of what little blood fell from the siren turned his head to look at the woman. A purr vibrated in his throat at the thought of having an even rarer meal. As a prized possession of hers, Arun was untouchable. He wasn't allowed to sink his teeth into him, but if he were able to have a taste of another of their kind, he would die happily. She wasn't a pureblood, but that blood she possessed was nothing to sneeze at either.

"I'd gladly do this for you, mistress. She'll be gone within the day."

"No, wait - ," the siren protested, stretching his arm out to the woman as if to strongly plead against it.

However, the vampire was not pleased with the male's objection. Sneering, he pushed his head to the wall again, denting it dramatically and sending more blood to pour down his face. Chuckling, the vampire closed in and greedily took as much as he could, dominantly restricting the siren's ability to move by once more holding him tightly around his neck.

"Now, now, Mihir," he mocked, speaking quietly into his ear, "Raising your voice against the 'mistress' will get you in trouble, don't you know? Be a good boy and keep your mouth shut. We don't want to find out you placed thoughts in her head again with that voice of yours. She was so very upset last time. Just think, next time she may have your tongue cut out, hm?"

After issuing such a friendly reminder, the vampire threw the siren to the ground, pressing down on the small of his back with his boot. It was only to ensure he knew his place. He may have been more desirable in the real world or the spirit world, but not there. Gritting his teeth at the thought, the vampire looked up at his mistress with a fake smile, tilting his head. He had expected she would be pleased with his eagerness to do her bidding, but it was far from true. Instead, she marched up to him and grabbed him by the back of his hair, pushing him down to her arm.

"Why aren't you asking for my blood?! Tell me the truth! Even you - such a parasitic and vile creature - think she's more desirable than me?! Just because she's such a 'special' creature?!"

The vampire's eyes dilated in rage, his brows furrowing at her insulting speech. He would have liked nothing more than to tear her head from her shoulders. Being subject to her pride and temperament diminished his own and he may as well have been a mere human. Yet she heightened herself above him always and forced him into subjugation. But with such thoughts, a force he could not control enclosed around his heart - a reminder that he could not disobey or go against her wishes. He growled further before reluctantly biting into her skin.

She sighed in bliss, the feeling of a vampire's bite like an aphrodisiac. It had to be in order to capture their prey and keep them still. Pleasurable and painless, it sucked them in and allowed the one being leached off of to be satiated. But he hated it. Being forced to feast on her when her human blood was so worthlessly flavorless - it sickened him. She would come to regret it.

"Well, what are you waiting for?! All of you, find some solution to this problem! I want Ahun back under my feet!"

. . .

(Y/n) had been treated strangely by the white-haired male. Sure, he wasn't pushing himself on her, the only thing worthy of note he had done beyond her permission was stealing a small kiss. Other than that, he tried to wait patiently for her to accept him despite his wiggling. The male really was trying very hard to impress her, showing her the finest things he had access to. Whether it was natural uncut gems or giving her his bed, his eyes glistened in hope that she would respond favorably to him.

He waited for her to wake up, staring longingly at her while she slept. Well, in truth she was already awake, but she was concerned about what he would do once she "woke up". That being said, compared to any other male spirit she had run into, he had immense self-restraint. Sighing, the girl gave up pretending to be asleep, noting the beaming expression the male gave her. He even shakily presented a tray of fresh fruits to her, hoping she would accept.

"Good morning," he smiled gratefully as she took a handful of small berries, "Were you able to have a nice rest?"

"It was comfortable, I guess. Thank you."

"Of course. What's mine is yours."

The male seemed to be pleased with what he had said, his cheeks pink with affection. He was quite happy to feed her as well, and though he was not asked, he nonetheless took great joy in serving her. And though (Y/n) was quite put off by his forwardness, she couldn't find the heart to stop him. Besides, a handsome man was willingly giving her all of his attention. Some part of her recognized that though it was quite embarrassing either way.

"Arun," a voice called from across the room, the glass door closing after the entrance of the siren.

At the sound of another male in the room with the younger girl, the white-haired boy tensed. He dropped the tray and protectively stood in front of her, giving a glare to the siren. Surprised, the younger girl gripped onto his shirt, knowing she had little choice but to rely on him for protection. While she wasn't sure what was happening, her actions nonetheless made the male purr at her relying on him. Maybe that was the key to impressing her.

"The 'mistress' is asking for you. She's jealous, and Cyrus has already offered to suck her dry. I doubt you want to piss her off enough to give him permission to do so."

Growling, the male found truth in the siren's words. And while he hardly wanted to leave the vulnerable female to herself, if he didn't leave, he may not have been able to protect her. Even if vampires were thought of as one of the lowest species - pureblood or not - they were powerful either way. He had no other choice to do everything he could to prevent him from trying to kill her.

Sighing, the male held on tightly to the (h/c) haired girl's hand and warned her not to leave the safety of the room. He then followed the siren out of the room, leaving the small beings and animals to keep her company. And while she was not fond of the idea of being caged and trapped, she knew it was better than being subjected to the countless other spirits behind that door. So she sat patiently, exploring every nook and cranny of the nature-infested room to keep her mind off of approaching the tempting door.

Meanwhile, the white-haired boy walked after Mihir, wondering why their "owner" had been so impatient in seeing him. Surely she could have had at least a little pity for him. He hadn't ever seen another one of his kind, let alone his predestined match. The only thing he wanted to do was hold her close and place kisses on her cheeks. Sighing longingly, he wondered if she would ever open up to him. Then again, it had only been a day. Impatient, indeed.

"Oh, look at that face," a chuckle emitted from a dark corner of the corridor, "Did you get rejected? How does it feel?"

"It's none of your business, Ilbryn!"

"Oh, how mean of you. I was only trying to be friendly, asking if you were okay. You know, you've made me want to spite you. If I go show myself to her, she'll never look at you again ~."

Frustrated, Arun grabbed the incubus by his shirt, throwing him to the wall with a harsh glare. He wouldn't let anyone touch her, especially such a diseased and filthy demon. No doubt he wanted to take advantage of her again and again. It sickened him, the sight of the incubus' rage-filled face only satisfying him partially. Doing such a disrespect as laying his hands on him in a violent manner irritated him significantly, and as such, he smacked the other male's hand away, tilting his head down.

"It was only a joke, but do that again, and I'll fuck you up. I don't need your permission to talk about anything."

"It's not just anything you're talking about," the siren pitched in despite his relatively peaceful nature, "That's his fated partner. Don't succubi and incubi have a similar thing? Have some empathy."

"Stay out of things that don't concern you. I wasn't going to do anything, but you two are pissing me the fuck off. So I might just go ahead and introduce myself. And we all know that your kinds' females have a heightened preference for other stronger species. So keep it up and we'll see how long she stays with you, huh?"

"Stronger species?" a scoff echoed, the vampire showing his overconfident face, "Then she would offer herself to me, wouldn't she?"

A tense silence enveloped the air around the males. None of them seemed to be in agreement, three of them fighting over the rare female and one of them trying to stay out of the fight but being dragged into it all the same. The siren wanted nothing to do with any of the species before him. Though having one of their kind for a mating partner was nothing less than ecstasy - for any species - it was not worth losing his life over. Besides, it was disrespectful to encroach on another's beloved, not that the others had the same ethos.

"Please," the incubus scoffed, waving his hand dismissively, "They're not that desperate for protection. I doubt anyone besides a human would want to lower themselves to have sex with your kind."

"You say that but, in terms of power, I'm far superior. You rely on sex for power, so your ability to protect anyone would wane. I would always be strong."

"No girl in their right mind would want to be with something that wants to use them!" Arun objected, earning a nasty stare from both males and a wince from the third, "Or eat them for that matter!"

"Speaking on that note," the vampire hummed, the corners of his lip tugging upwards, "I've actually got a proposition for you. I'm sick and tired of it here. You're not under her control like the rest of us. Think you could do something about it? I'd be willing to leave that girl of yours alone with the addition of some of your pure blood, too. I bet it's divine."

"Parasite," Ilbryn scoffed under his breath, crossing his arms over his chest.

The white-haired male lowered his head, thinking about what the red-eyed male had said. Truth be told, he had never intended to stay under the control of such a vile woman. She had always been quick to insult and quicker to abuse. Then there was her jealousy over other women. Such a mix of temperament was not a good sign for the (h/c) haired girl's safety. Besides, he wasn't in the habit of relying on a human for shelter or protection. It wouldn't have reflected well on his abilities towards becoming a reliable partner either.

"All right. Just get me close to her then."

The room in which the woman resided was very dark. Whether it was because she wanted to make the environment better suited for nocturnal spirits or because she was always indulging in promiscuity, that was how it was. As the four males stepped inside, she gave a grin, extending her hand for the vampire to kiss. She then set her eyes on the white-haired male, pleased to see him back to focusing on her.

"Arun, grown bored already?" she hummed, reaching her other hand out to the male as he walked towards her.

"Something like that."

Magic was always
