I brush my deep brown hair that stops below my boobs, giving it a little ruffle at the front before being finally satisfied.

I decided to go without my hoodie today, leaving a black crop top that hugs my chest and brown vintage high waisted boyfriend jeans, pairing them with Nike.

I finish off with my three favourite pair of necklace, which the last stops between my cleavage.

Yes! I have cleavage.

I take my car keys from my table, along with my backpack before walking out of my room.

Knowing my parents are awake, I yell, "bye Parents!" heading straight to the front door. I was about to twist the knob when my Dad's voice stops me.

"Where'd you think you're going to without eating breakfast?" I let out a loud groan, retreating my steps to the kitchen.

I plump myself down on an empty chair around the square shaped dining table. I stretch my hand to grab the plate of freshly made waffles.

"You hate school anyway, why are you in such a hurry?" My Dad questions again, seeing my fake downcasted expression.

"Because there's something called being late Dad." I point out, shoving a fork-full of waffle drowned in maple syrup into my mouth.

He waves me off. "You look nice." My Mom compliments with a smile on her face.

I smile at her in response, "yeah she does." We both turn our head to my Dad at his addition.

A scowl quickly replaces his soft smile. "Although I prefer her with her hoodies instead." I give him a questioning look, while my Mom chuckles.

"I don't want all those horny teenage boys.....or girls---" he winks at me, "looking at my baby's goodies." I scrunch my face into disgust.

"Jesus Dad!" He laughs at my traumatized face.

"Firstly, I'm straight." Just to clear that out.

"And secondly, they can only look but not touch." I say proudly and my Mom voices out, "that's right," and gives me an high five in support.

With the small top I'm wearing and my full boobs which I inherited from my Mom, they are displaying themselves gracefully out of the low neckline of the top.

Why have boobs if you can't show them off?

I then turn to my Dad, my trauma by what he said undoubtedly written on my face.

He narrows his eyes at both of us and I say, "but still don't call my boobs goodies or anything Dad. It's so weird." I shake my body, still feeling his words like cold. He laughs in response.

After having an eventfully morning with my parents, I finally left for school.

I met up with Ophelia before first classes began and we went our separate ways, till it got to lunchtime.

"Thank you." I kindly say to the lunch lady as she dumps chicken nuggets in my tray. They are very tasty.

"Does this dress make me look fat?" Ophelia complains from beside me, scrutinizing herself as she takes her food too.

"What did I say when you asked me earlier?" I give her a pointed look as we move in a line, "No."

I nod, "there you go."

She looks totally okay but as usual, she finds something wrong with herself.

We walk out of the short line, then start moving to our table. Well actually, only I was moving to our table, when I noticed Ophelia's absence behind me.

"Lia?" She stops and turns back.

"Where are you going?"

She rolls her eyes at me, before using her head to gesture Cade and Zayn's table. It was actually pretty clear that she was heading there because their table is before ours.

I guess that's where we are siting now apparently.

"Let me guess," I say to Ophelia as we both sit down. The both of them look at us with surprise, once again.

"This is our new table." She nods with a cheapish smile.

"Hey." She smiles at Cade, tucking a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.

"Hey." He responds. As usual, his never ending smile greets us, which resulted in Ophelia masking her face with some form of 'slutty stare.'

Can she be anymore obvious?

I ignore my best friend, ready to throw a nugget in my mouth, but a certain someone's cloudy grey eyes stops me. I didn't know the little thing Cade pulled yesterday was effective until I am now face to face with him.

My lips part open due to the anticipation of my food, but Cade's stare on me didn't allow me make any movement.

Even as much as what he did yesterday was weird, surprising, unexpected, I didn't think about it or at least I tried not too.

The thought of confronting him crossed my mind, but instead I settled with the latter, which is pretending it didn't happen at all.

Beside it was a normal thing. Definitely not a big deal, right?

"These look yummy." Zayn stretches his hand to my tray and takes my nuggets. His unintentional interference breaks the unusual eye contact between Cade and I.

"I--" He shoves them in his mouth before I could retaliate. He smiles at me with his mouthful of my food.

"No fair." I pout and scrunch my nose.

"You have the same thing on your tray." I point to his tray filled with nuggets just like mine. I momentarily froze up when I look back up to meet both Cade and Zayn's eyes on me with a certain look in their eyes.

What did I do?

I furrow my brows with a slight tilt of my my head, before Ophelia spoke up.

"Your dimples are so cute." She smiles widely, her long fixed nails going into Zayn's cheeks. She dips her fore-finger in his very prominent dimples, making his cheeks turn crimson.

His face turns down as he looks at her. "I'm not cute." He says. Your red cheeks says other wise Zayn.

"Calling me cute makes me feel like a baby." He complains, but she only increased her cooing on him.

"You're so cute." Ophelia pinched his cheeks the way an elderly woman will do to a child.

"I'm not." He complains but it only made him seem cuter, making us all laugh. We somehow began a non-awkward chatter amongst ourselves, before the bell rang.

"Do you guys wanna get milkshakes after school?" Zayn suggests. I basically have no life outside school, so why not?

"Sure." I say and we all agree to go.

The heavy feeling of Cade's eyes on me makes me look at him as we exist the cafeteria. But then, he quickly looks away from me.

I already caught you pretty eyes.

Do I have something on my face or does he just find me entertaining?

After school, we came to a diner to get milkshakes like we agreed to. I had come to this particular diner a few years ago with Ophelia, Daya and April. Sadly, that was the last time since the fight that happened between April and Ophelia.

It's a regular themed diner, still it has it's own kind of uniqueness. Black and white checked flooring, white painted interior walls and red velvet booth chairs.

I like the atmosphere of the place. It's inviting.

"Vanilla special for me." The waitress jots down my order of my milkshake. I'm surprised she even heard me and wrote down my order.

Instead of her focus to be on her job since she came to attend to us, she keeps her attention on the guys who sits opposite Ophelia and I in the booth.

"Triple nut caramel." Cade says, expecting her to jot down his order but she didn't. The girl is eating him out with her eyes.

What's wrong with people?

I mean he is attractive, like very attractive. Still, it doesn't mean they should be drooling every second they see him.

Tell that to yourself.

I don't do that!

I laugh silently at the girl's lack of composure. I found it funny but Ophelia clearly didn't.

"Do you think she has the orders?" Ophelia mutters from my side and I shook my head.

"I highly doubt." Knowing my candid bestie, she snaps her fingers at the girl's face, pulling her out of her lustful trance. She looks around our age.

"Hey blondie--" We all laugh at Ophelia's straightforwardness, "eyes on your paper." The girl rolls her eyes, but jots down anyway.

"Strawberry marshmallow for me." Zayn calls out.

Ophelia shoots her eyes at him with a smile on her face. "That's my favourite too." She coos. She likes doing that a lot with Zayn.

"Yeah?" He ask and she nods repeatedly.

He brings his hand to her cheeks. "Your dimples are so pretty too." He digs his fingers in both her dimples like his.

Ophelia touched the tip of his nose, chuckling. "Look at us having things in common." They really do.

Cade's laughter bring my eyes to him as he watched their interaction. He sensed my eyes on him way too quickly but before our eyes could connect, I divert my eyes from him.

The waitress had long gone and we didn't even notice.

"I feel like today is the first day I'm seeing you without a hoodie on Freya." Zayn states with his head slightly cocked.

Why is everyone coming at me because of my hoodies today?

I shrug. "I didn't know I had fans who watched my every move." I feigned sweetness and he chuckles.

"I told her I was gonna burn them all if she continues wearing them." Ophelia chipped in proudly like her threat was what stopped me.

"Like you were actually gonna do it." I scoff at her.

The waitress came back shortly after. A smug smile appears on her lips as she places Cade's milkshake in front of him.

"Yours is on the house pretty boy." Her attempt of flirting is so sad.

"Babe." Ophelia brings her hand to hold Cade's own protectively, taking everyone by surprise. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who's eyes widen.

The waitress went bug-eyed as well at first, but she covered it up with a glare.

"Wanna share shakes?" Ophelia directs to Cade. If we didn't know any better, someone will actually think Ophelia is Cade's girlfriend. Cade was as confused as the rest of us.

Ophelia was certainly putting up a show for the girl. At least that's what they think. The girl scoffs dramatically, while Ophelia looks at her with a sly smile.

"Sure?" Cade is so confused. The girl walks away in embarrassment. I don't think she'll attend to us if we come to this diner again.

I stare at my best friend in utter amusement, watching as she bask in pride.

"I get that a lot and usually I end up taking their numbers because I feel bad when they turn sad." Cade informs. I've never heard a guy say that before.

"Thanks for saving my ass. I'm honestly tired of getting random calls." He sends Ophelia a sincere smile.

"Not a problem honeybun. Anything for you." She winks at him, her hands still on his.

Honeybun?

God, lemme just fly to mars.

I noticed Zayn's expression as he watched Ophelia. It's pretty clear to everyone that she has her eyes set on Cade and she's making it very obvious to everyone. It's either they think it was an act or they actually know better.

We began conversing which turned out great. We start asking ourselves random questions.

"So Freya," Zayn faces me, "what's your biggest fear?" I take a large draw of my milkshake. It's already below half. I'm gonna need another one.

"Things not lasting." I say without brainstorming, still slurping up my drink. That's my biggest fear and for some reason, I've always been conscious of it.

"What do you mean?" I take my eyes away from my glass of milkshake at Cade's voice.

They all had curious expressions on, including Ophelia. Although she already knows.

"When things don't last, like any kind of relationship between people, it kinda scares me." I've never experienced loss— aside that one traumatic time in my life. But the thought of losing what I have now scares me like nothing else.

My family and the friendships I have now. It has just been that way with me. I know things change though, just like it did with Ophelia and April.

"Why?" I glance at Zayn and shrug.

"No particular reason, I'm just like that." Everyone had turned silent and I just know I might have unintentionally ruined the little fun time we are having.

"Oh shit, I didn't mean to dampen the mood with my sappy talk." They laughed at my outburst.

"No it's cool." Zayn smiles at me.

I turn to Ophelia, feeling her arms come around my neck. "And I for one know that my bestest bestie isn't gonna be losing anything or anyone anytime soon." She kisses my cheeks and I laugh.

I really hope so.

Cade briefs us with his bright smile, but it looked like he was contemplating something else and our eyes locking again gave me more access to see it.

Like always, I divert my eyes from him.

What's up with this weird constant stares we keep having?

Some minutes later, I ordered another milkshake and we all decided to get pancakes on a big ass plate.

My tommy had become way too tight halfway through, leaving Cade to happily finish it after Ophelia and Zayn stopped too.

Invested in something Ophelia was saying about her being better than Jacob in everything, I mistakenly pushed off my golden bracelet off the table, that I had taken off for no reason.

I bend sideway to pick it up, but rather long fingers reaches it before I do. Avoiding eye contact with Cade was pretty inevitable and honestly irrelevant at this point we are.

I watch his eyes leave mine, going down to somewhere else. A flash of something ran through Cade's eyes that I definitely couldn't comprehend and that's when I realised his eyes are stationed on my babies, in other words....

My boobs!

He notices the 'you serious?' look I gave him, making him shift his eyes instantly from me, before clearing his throat lightly.

I smile awkwardly and take my bracelet from him. I quickly adjust myself, thanking God the others were too engrossed in their conversation to notice.

I'm suppose to cuss at Cade for being a pervert but instead, it made me feel kinda....hot.

Hot?

Yeah, something is definitely wrong with me.
