You chewed on your lip as you contemplated whether to text Jimin or not. Jungkook had given you his number that day. You decided to just go with it, as you had nothing to lose. 

You:
Hi. This is Y/N.

Jimin:
Hi. 

You:
That was fast. 

Jimin:
I've been expecting you. JK told me. 😊

You:
Oh. I see. He told me you had answers, but I have no idea where to start. 

You're Tae's BFF, right?

Jimin:
Yeah

Do you mind me calling you? Too lazy to type rn. 

You:
Okay.

Jimin:
Hey.

You:
Hi.

Jimin:
I'll get straight to the point. Tae and I kind of.. had a fight a couple months ago. 

You:
(worried)
Huh? Why?

Jimin:
(cutely giggles)
Oh, it's nothing. We just didn't talk to each other for a few hours, but it was regarding you. He was in a sour mood and kept ignoring me for a while. He said that he was planning on asking you out, but was betrayed by you. 

You:
Betrayed by me? Honestly?

Jimin:
That's exactly what he said. He said you were using him to get close to me. 

You:
Where the hell did he get that idea?

Jimin:
I don't know, but he was upset. He kept telling me it was my fault for being so goddamn charming. But he mostly blamed you for using him. 

You:
Wait, wait. Did he tell you how he jumped to that conclusion?

Jimin:
I asked him and he told me someone told him, but I couldn't quite catch the name. It started with U.... I think...?

You:
Well, that's not important, I guess. 

Jimin:
I'm sorry I can't remember. He was starting to change, you know? He didn't realize it himself, but he was starting to... calm down. He was seriously considering taking you out on a date and seeing how things would go. He did like you, but it's this little misunderstanding that knocked him off course and he went back to what he was. 

You:
I... actually had a chance with him?

Jimin:
I'm sorry.

You:
It's not your fault. It's that other person's fault.

Jimin:
I'll tell you if I remember their name.
