Epilogue..

"Good thing Henry backed out of the wedding, their company is bankrupt and they're looking for investors" dad said while reading the newspaper, we're in his office talking about our businesses.

"Do you want to invest?" I asked him while sipping my coffee.

"No I don't want to waste my money on them, Henry's a lazy boy and a player, imagine he's engaged with you and yet he has another girlfriend, what a prick" he said in distaste.

"Now you hate him" I said smirking.

It's been months since Salt and I got back together, I'm surprised that dad accepted our relationship though I know that he's not pleased.

"I'll kill him for dumping you, his company is bankrupt because of karma" I rolled my eyes, he didn't dump me. He just don't have the choice because Missy and Salt threatened him. I don't know how they did it but I don't care, what's important is that I didn't marry him.

"Nobody knows that he dumped me so don't be mad" I comforted him, dad fabricated lies so that I won't look bad when the wedding was cancelled, after all no one would think that I was dumped in the first place.

"Where's your girlfriend?!" He asked changing the topic, he seldom call Salt by her name because he still don't like me having an affair with a girl, as long as he's not a hindrance I'm fine with it.

"She's coming soon" I said smiling. He rolled his eyes.

"You can't be late if it's about business! Tsk. I'll lecture her when she's here!" He yelled.

"Dad she's new to this. Please be patient" I said while reading the papers that I'm about to discuss.

"New? That's the consequence of being a Montreal and having an affair with you so bear with it!" He snorted, I shook my head and continued reading.

"Dad?" I said after a while.

"What?" He said raising his brow, somehow I feel that we're getting closer.

"I know you don't like Salt for me but why did you accept our relationship?" I asked curiously, he looked at me intently as if thinking if he would tell me the reason or not.

"We talked before and we had an agreement"

"What agreement?" I asked him frowning. Again he looked at me intently before speaking.

"I told her to stay away from you because you're engaged but if Henry backed out of the wedding I will not be a hindrance to both of you" he explained.

So that explains why Salt avoided me after the incident in the pool area. I was about to say something when Salt arrived.

"Good morning sir" she greeted dad before facing me.

"Good morning honey" she greeted me as well then leaned closer and gave me a peck on the lips, we both flinched wen dad coughed.

"You're forgetting something here Montreal, just because I allowed your relationship with my daughter doesn't mean you can kiss her in front of me!" He said sternly.

"I'm sorry sir" she said hastily.

"You're late! How will you feed my daughter if you're always late in business meetings like this?!" Oh my he's nagging my girlfriend.

"Dad it's just a simple meeting—-"

"Still!" He insisted then continued lecturing Salt, I smiled when I saw her taking what my father was saying seriously. She's now used to my fathers attitude and I'm happy with it. I moved closer and faced my dad as well, I slipped my right hand to her left thigh which made her chuckle.

"Allison!" Dad snapped at me, I removed my hand immediately and listened to what he's saying as well.

After an hour of talking and sharing ideas about the schools new rules and regulation Salt and I decided to meet Cassandra and Missy in the cafeteria.

After Cassandra graduated from Junior-high she transferred immediately in our school and now a varsity of football. She's a total charmer, she even charmed my little sister Missy.

"How's your practice game Cassy?" Salt asked her sister, she's now used to calling Cassandra as Cassy again.

"It's fine" she said simply.

"It's very fine Salty! I cheered for her then she kicked the ball straight to the goal twice! I gave her a kiss for every goal so she's super inspired!" Missy said ecstatically while hugging Cassy on her back.

"Who said I'm inspired? I'm just good in that sport" she said simply before removing Missy's hands.

"Of course you are!" Missy insisted then lifted up Cassy's face and kissed her passionately, that caught her off guard. Who wouldn't? Missy is a good kisser and my girlfriend is a living testimony of that.

"See Salty? She really likes me she's just too shy to tell it to me"

"Shut up Missy! Can't you just sit down and eat! Public display of affection is prohibited here, you should know best" It's funny to watch the two of them, they're not in a relationship but they act like one, Missy is so straightforward when it comes to Salt's sister, she's never like that to anyone. It's obvious that she likes Missy but she's denying it.

"Fine keep on denying it! You'll regret that when I found someone new! A lot of boys are chasing me" Missy said then moved away from her.

"You wish" she said smirking. Poor Missy, Salt's sister is playing hard to get. They didn't talk while we're eating.

"Missy baby" we all looked to where the voice came from. My eyes widen when I saw our cousin James.

"James baby!" Missy squealed then hugged him in so much joy, she even gave him a peck on the lips, the three of us were super close. He's the eldest brother of Luna.

"Who's he?" Cassy asked me frowning, an idea came up.

"Missy's suitor and future boyfriend" I lied.

"Future boyfriend? Good luck" she said still looking at them.

"Come let's go somewhere! Allison I'll borrow your sister" James said while holding Missy's hand, my sister's super happy and excited because every time James appear he has lots of gifts to both of us.

"Sure, enjoy" I said winking, Missy and James started to walk when Cassy grabbed her other hand.

"What?!" Missy snapped at her.

"Where are you going?" She asked Missy with a serious tone.

"It's none of your business, let go of me" she said while removing Cassy's grasp.

"You're not yet done eating, sit down and eat!" She commanded, she sure has an attitude when mad.

"Wait, don't force Missy to do—-" James said but he was interrupted.

"She's my girlfriend so she will follow what I want her to do!" She snapped at him. Missy's eyes widen in disbelief, I thought she would be glad instead she slapped Cassy's forehead.

"Ouch! What's that for?"

"Don't yell on James and I'm not your girlfriend" Missy said then about to walk away again but she didn't had the chance to because Cassy's not letting go.

"Yes you are!" Cassy insisted. It's fun to watch them both.

"You can go now James and don't come back here again, she's already my girlfriend so shooo" she added.

"I'm afraid that won't happen" James replied coolly, he sat in front of her.

"Why not?" She asked him frowning.

"Because I also own this school, I'm James McKinley" I laughed out loud when Cassy almost choked when she heard him.

"I thought you're courting Missy? That's what Allison said!" She looked at me frowning but I just gave her a smile. She looks embarrassed and it only made her cute.

"I'm their cousin, my sister is Luna McKinley" he explained then stood up.

"It's nice meeting you Cassy, so you're Missy's girlfriend. Didn't know you're that possessive, but it's okay. I'll see you all again" he said before walking out of the cafeteria.

"Girlfriend huh? I wish huh?" Missy said while rolling her eyes.

"Shut up and eat" Cassy said hastily. She's blushing.

"So now you're denying it again?! Whatever! I'm —-" she was interrupted by Cassy's lips on her. Now she's the one who was caught off guard.

"Shut up and just eat, I don't like a thin girlfriend" that's it, now they're official.

"Don't worry! I'm gonna be fat!" Missy said delightedly. Now she got what she wanted. I'm so happy that Missy finally got the love that she deserves.

"I didn't say I want you fat, I just don't want you thin" Cassy insisted.

They're okay now and I don't want to interfere with their sweet moment so I reached for Salt's hand and led her outside.

"Everything's falling into place now" Salt said while we're walking.

"Yeah" was all I said.

"Dad said you both had an agreement. I'm surprised and I still can't believe that he accepted you"

"You and your father stand to your words but he still don't want me for you" she said smiling timidly.

"That's alright, just do your best to gain his trust and I'm sure he's gonna like you" I said then gave her a peck on the lips.

"I'm doing my best, I'm happy that we're okay now but it will make me happier if he likes me too" she said sighing.

"That moment will come, good thing comes to those who wait" I said then kissed her cheek.

We're about to go to the greenhouse when we heard my dad talking to someone. He likes drinking coffee there because it's peaceful, my mom requested it from my dad.

"Dad's inside" I said whispering before we hide on the bushes.

"With whom?" He asked me while peeking.

"That's his best friend and business partner" I whispered.

"What are they talking about?" We're only inches apart.

"I don't know that's why we're eavesdropping" I said a bit irritably, I don't like it when she asks too many questions.

"Okay I'm sorry" she said rolling her eyes, we can hear them talking from our place.

"It's very unfortunate that Cavanaugh's company was bankrupt, are you sure you don't want to invest or buy it?" Dad's friend asked.

"Who's Cavanaugh?" Salt asked curiously.

"Henry Cavanaugh stupid" I said rolling my eyes.

"Can't you just answer my question properly? It's not my fault that I don't know his surname" she said with a hurt tone, maybe I went too far.

"Okay I'm sorry" I said sighing.

"I know I'm kinda stupid and all but—" shes gonna nag me I'm sure of that so I kissed her.

"You talk too much" I said after the kiss. She didn't respond, instead she kissed me back, great.

"Salt, this is not the right place!" I whispered, I pushed her but she's strong. I gasp when her hand reached my right breast. Her kiss is enticing, it's addicting and I missed it though we kiss once in a while. We can still hear them talk.

"No I don't have plans, they deserve that because Henry left Allison for another girl"

"I don't see Henry having a girlfriend, I always saw him"

"No one has the right to dump a McKinley!"

"Hey, is it true that Allison has a girlfriend right now? Maybe that's the reason why Henry left her. Why would she engage to that kind of relationship? Don't she have standards?"

We Both stopped kissing when we heard what he said, Salt's face saddened, I myself don't like what he said. I looked at them again and wait to what my father would say, he seemed calm. Salt is not looking, she's just sulking.

"McKinley's have a standard, Allison loves that girl since the beginning and I'm just the only one who's stopping her. Good thing Henry backed out because they're bankrupt! I put up the pieces and I realized that maybe the reason why Henry wants to marry Allison as soon as possible is because they want to save their company. Good thing he didn't continue what he's planning because if not I'll kill him" I'm surprised when I heard what my dad said, he's admitting his faults.

"You have a point there about Henry but what about your dream grandchildren?" I'm starting to hate dad's friend. Dad didn't respond, he's just looking into the roses.

"I still want to have one someday" he said after a while.

"It won't happen until Allison decides to marry a man" I groaned in annoyance. But it faded when I heard what my dad said.

"Honestly, I don't like her girlfriend at first but she made my daughter happy. Salt is rich, beautiful and kind, in fact she's helping me with my business. I think she fits all the standard that my daughter was looking for." I can't believe what he's saying right now. He's complimenting Salt.

"If you say so then it's alright" at last his friend stopped talking.

I stood up silently and pulled Salt up. I'm smiling widely at her, you know the saying when your smile reaches your ear. That's what I look right now. She's just looking at me, I bet she can't believe what she heard. I stopped when we reached the front of the school building.

"I told you he will like you eventually" I said then reached for her hands.

"You have no idea how happy I am" she said ecstatically.

"You're right but let's pretend that we didn't hear anything okay? Act naturally when dad's around" she nodded in response.

"Okay let's go back to our class" we're about to walk when I stopped.

"What?" She asked me curiously.

"The song that you sung to me back then"

"All of me, what's with that?" She asked me puzzled.

"How'd you know that it's my favorite song?" We avoided each other and we didn't talk that much so I want to know how did you come up with that idea.

"Missy"

"Missy?" I repeated.

"She's behind all of this, from Henry backing out of the wedding from the song that I played"

"So you don't have any idea of yours! Doofus!" I said while poking her forehead. She hugged me tight before speaking.

"I love you! I don't mind accepting idea from others if it means having you" she really has the ability to make me smile and giggle at the same time. I'm lucky to have a clever and very loving sister as well as a loving and not so clever girlfriend.

What else could I wish for right? I don't know what's going to happen in the future but I'm always ready because I have them by my side.

"Thanks God" I mumbled to myself then I led her back to our classroom.
