MISSY POV

"I love you Cassy"

"I can't accept your love you know that, there's only one person that I love and that won't change" she leaned closer to me and kissed me on my cheeks afterwards.

"You're too young to love me, you're just fourteen" she said chuckling.

"I'm old enough to know what I'm feeling" I argued.

"Choose me, because if you don't I'll tell Allison your secret" I added but she didn't seem to care.

"We all have secrets dear, and this is our secret now"

"You won't tell her that, I'm sure of it. You're too kind to do that Missy" she said while caressing my cheeks. I closed my eyes to savor the feeling of her warm hand against my skin.

"Just let me handle this, I don't want to see her hurting" she said gently as I open my eyes.

"But I don't want you to go" I feel burdened that I know her secret. I don't want to hide it from Allison but I also love Cassy.

"Everybody needs to go, even you, even Allison. It's just unfortunate that I am the first in line" she said smiling at me. I really love her, I fell in love with her the moment I saw her but Allison doesn't know it.

"My sister will enroll here I'm sure of that. She looked exactly like me, except the attitude of course. Make sure to make her fall in love with you. Do everything to make her fall for you..." she added.

"You have a sister? I thought you're an only child?" I asked in surprise. She's the only granddaughter of Anthony Montreal.

"That's what I thought too" she said while tapping my head. I didn't ask her further because it's not that important for me.

"So what if she didn't fall in love with me? What if she falls in love with Allison as well?" I inquired sadly.

"Then she's the same as me, but at least you tried. Missy that's your only chance so better do everything, everything"

My eyes opened immediately when my acoustic guitar fell to the floor. I forgot to close the window so the wind that's coming inside caused the guitar to fall. I sat up straight and started stretching my arms afterwards.

"Cassy" I mumbled.

It's been a month already since I had the same dream. I didn't get the chance to visit her the last two months because I became very busy. The snow is heavy and the streets are already filled with it. It will be harder for me to visit her tomorrow using a sedan.

I finally stood up to sit on the couch. It's been two years already but I still miss her the same way Allison does. The only difference between me and my sister is that I love Salt for who she is and not because she's Cassy's sister.

It still burdens me that I know everything, but I can't tell them anything because I promised to Cassy.

Do everything.... everything...

"That's what I'm doing right now Cassy" I'm doing everything to have Salt. I love her, in fact I love her more than Cassy.

I witnessed Allison suffer because she lost the only person that she fell in love with. There are times that I wanted to tell her the truth, but my promise to Cassy keeps on holding me back. I tried everything just to make her somehow forget and move on from Cassy but nothing is worked.

I became extremely sad when Salt fell in love with her too. I didn't push myself on her because I know that she can help Ali to move on, even if it hurts like hell.

"I wonder what would happen if you didn't die? I bet it would be thrilling" I said while gazing to the ceiling. I closed my eyes again to reminisce the day when I found out about Cassy's illness.

"Cassy! Can I borrow your camera?" I said as I enter her room. She was in the kitchen doing something that I didn't bother on checking.

"Sure, it's on my drawer beside my bed" she replied peeking. She looks cute with her pajama on. I opened the drawer and immediately picked up the camera which caused the bottles inside the drawer to fall to the floor.

"Crap!" I groaned in annoyance while picking it all up. I frowned when I read the label of each bottles. Inderal, Lanoxin and Lasix. I don't know much about medicines but I'm not naive. My late grandmother has these kind of medicine and I know that it's for heart disease.

Why would Cassy drink these kind of medicines? I mumbled frowning.

"Did you find it?" I flinched when Cassy suddenly entered her room.

"Missy? hey" she walked beside me and was surprised when she saw the bottles that I'm holding. She grabbed all of it immediately away from my grasp and returned it inside the drawer.

"Why are you taking those medicines?" I asked frowning. She gazed at me for a couple of seconds before sighing.

"Don't mind it, you should go" she said smiling. She's hiding something from me and I will not let her slide.

"You better answer me Cassy, or I'll tell Ali about those meds" I threatened her.

"Don't tell this to her Missy, promise me" she pleaded nervously.

"Then tell me everything" I bargained. Once again she released a heavy sigh before sitting on the side of her bed.

I can't keep this thing to Allison. I said to myself when she finished explaining.

"Cassy, you can't keep this to her, you need to tell her, I need to tell her" I said gently.

"No, no please" my heart broke upon seeing her cry. I don't understand why she have to keep it a secret from Allison.

"Cassy, this is not right. You know that Allison loves you so much" I argued before standing up and about to head outside when she grabbed my hand to stop me.

"Cassy!" I tried removing her grasp from my hand but she's too strong.

"Don't tell it to her! If you really love me don't tell this to her" she pleaded.

"What are you saying?" I asked pretending that I don't know what she's talking about.

"I know that you have feelings for me, and if you love me you will not tell this to her" she said between sobbing. I never thought that she will notice my feelings for her.

"Please" she pulled me closer and hugged me tight. I tried to push her away but eventually I stopped because I love her so much.

"Okay" I said after wiping her tears. She smiled in relief while looking at me. She's beautiful even when crying. I kissed her passionately and I'm not surprised that she kissed me back because I'm doing her a favor.

I was pulled away from my deep thought when I heard a loud knock at my door.

The club activity hasn't started yet so who's knocking at my door? I immediately stood up when the knock became louder.

"Coming! jeez chill!" I yelled while walking to the door.

"This club isn't opened ye----" I didn't finish what I'm going to say when I saw Salt.

"Salt... What are you doing he----" I was interrupted because she immediately hugged me tight and started crying. Her body is soaked and so cold because of the snow.

"Hey don't cry, what happened?" I asked anxiously, before closing the door.

"I should've chosen you instead of her" I frowned upon hearing what she said, My nape is getting wet because of her continuous crying.

"What happened? Why are you saying this?"

"She lied to me, she used me! I found out that she's in love with someone else, everything is all about Cassy, all for her!" she said full of anger. I'm stunned for a moment of shock.

How did she find out?

"Hush, calm down" I said gently before leading her to the couch. I looked for a clean towel in the toilet and wiped her head and body afterwards.

"Remove your clothes and wear this" I said after I removing my sweatshirt and handed it to her. She obliged still sobbing while shivering.

Allison I told you to tell her the truth!

"Did you know all of this?" she asked seriously. I immediately averted my eyes on the floor because I can't look at her in the eyes.

"Why am I asking you the obvious? of course you know!" she exclaimed in hurt. I immediately reached for her hands and pressed it gently.

"I'm sorry" was all I said. I know I'm also at fault so no matter what I say, it will not change the fact that I still took part on lying with her.

"It's alright, like you said before, it's not your job to tell me the truth, it's hers" she said smiling sadly.

"Wait how did you find out about Cassy? did she tell you?" I asked curiously. I caught my breath when she gently shook her head.

"I found out about it" she said as her tears started to fall again. I hugged her again and caressed her back to calm her down.

"Ho...how?" I asked stuttering.

"I found Cassy's album inside her room and the photos that I saw explained everything. I asked her many times but she denied all of it and chose to lie to me" I suddenly became worried with Allison.

"What did Ali say?" I asked gently, I don't want to trigger her anger but I can't help not to ask.

"Her stupid sorry" she said in anger. I feel sorry for my sister but it's the consequence of what she's done.

"Then?" I asked while gazing at her intently.

"I broke up with her, she don't deserve my love. She don't love me anyway" I can see clearly the hurt on her face. I know the feeling of loving someone that doesn't love you back.

"Hey, I believe you have a certain spot on Ali's heart so don't say that" I consoled her but she just laughed sarcastically.

"As much as I want to believe you, I can't. You're her sister and I know that you will defend her no matter what she's done" she said before leaning closer to kiss my right cheek.

"You're so good to everyone Missy, I'm so lucky that you're my friend" she said in appreciation. I smiled because I felt touched. Maybe this is the moment that I've been waiting for.

"It's my pleasure to make you happy Salty so you don't have to thank me"

"You're way too different from Allison. If only I can-" she paused. I know exactly what she's going to say but I want to hear it from her.

"Can what?" She released a heavy sigh before speaking again.

"If only I can divert my love for her to you, I will do it right away"

"Then let me help you" I suggested while caressing her cheek. I need to take advantage of the moment.

"No, that's not good" she said while shaking her head in objection. I am already expecting that answer from her because she's a good girl.

"I want to forget her but I'm not going to use you Missy, let me fix this on my own" she said seriously. I sat beside her and reached for her hands again.

"No Salt, I don't care if you use me to forget her, I want to help you. I'm willing to do anything just for you" I explained patiently. This is my chance so I will do everything just to have her.

"I don't want you two to fight because of me, Missy I can't do---" I interrupted her with a kiss on her lips. She's taken aback for a moment but she didn't push me away.

"Let me help you, use my love for you to move on. Let me heal you" I whispered afterwards.

I know it's very soon and I am taking advantage of her weakness but I can't wait any longer. I don't know what's running on Allison's mind right now. She may come and win back Salt anytime so I must do everything to prevent it.

She didn't respond. She's just looking at me as if analyzing every word that I just told her.

"I don't want to complicate things Missy, I don't want Allison hate you" she said after a while.

"You're not complicating things, you are solving things with me, trust me with this. Allison had her chance but she wasted it. Now can you give me a chance as well? I promise you that I won't hurt you and I'll love you for the rest of my life" I frowned when her tears started to fall.

"Hey" I said after wiping her tears.

"I don't deserve to be hurt like this" she said between crying.

"You deserve someone better, you deserve to be happy" I said while caressing her back to comfort her. It breaks my heart to see her in so much pain.

"Please help me Missy" she pleaded hopelessly. That's the most beautiful word that I ever heard from her. I will do my best to make her easily forget Allison.

"Hush, I'll help you don't worry, I will do anything for you" She smiled at me despite the sadness.

Even losing my own sister just to have you. I said to myself.

"Thank you" she whispered while her face on the crook of my neck. It gave me familiar sensation, the same feeling when I was with Cassy. I pushed her away gently afterwards, and next thing I know, I am already kissing her and to my surprise, she kissed me back.

Do everything.... Everything...

I'm sorry Allison, but I can't let you hurt her again.

I forgot my key in the music club room so I knocked twice and called Allison but she didn't respond. I released a heavy sigh before twisting the door knob, I smiled in relief when it's not locked.

"Ali?" I called her once again but there's still no response. I left Salt in the music club room, she said she'll sleep there because she doesn't want to tell Keena yet what happened.

I was about to head to my room when I heard her piano. She's playing the song Stay by Mayday Parade in a slow tempo. I sighed before heading to her room. The reason why she was always invited to play in the orchestra is because when she starts playing, you will be engrossed in listening to it. It's like the music is alive and your heart will be touched.

I leaned on her door frame while watching her, she looked so wasted and sad, which explains her choice of song now. I closed my eyes afterwards because I am enjoying the sound.

I flinched when she suddenly slammed the keys before the ending of the song. The sound is annoying and she kept on slamming it until I stopped her.

"Allison!" She gazed at me blankly. 

"Ali..." I started but I stopped because I don't know what to say. She looked so miserable right now. 

"Where is she" it's more like a statement than a question. She averted her gaze back to the piano and started playing the same song.

"I left her in the club room" I replied almost whispering.

"Why didn't you hide Cassy's photo album? you know that she's he---"

"She already knows it, there's no point on blaming me" she said interrupting me. I suddenly become irritated by her response.

"You could've at least hid it somewhere she can't find" She's now on the chorus part of the song.

"She hates me right" she said again after a while.

"What do you expect" I replied while picking up the pieces of the album. I felt sad when I saw Cassy's face torn into pieces.

"Did you do this?

"No" she said simply while humming.

"So Salt did this" I mumbled in disbelief. Allison is surely in pain right now. The only memory of Cassy that's left of her was now a trash.

"It's your chance now isn't it?" I didn't respond because I am busy picking up the pieces of the photos.

"You should throw that on the trash bin" she added. She's back to being a cold zombie again. That's what I used to call her when she was grieving two years ago. I want to comfort her but I know that it's no use.

"Can I have her back" again it's more of a statement than a question.

"She doesn't want you anymore, she hates you and she wants to move on from you" I said honestly. I know I'm a bit harsh but I don't have a choice but to tell her the painful truth.

"With you" she continued.

"So, can I have her back?" she repeated.

Is she listening to me? I asked mentally.

"What if I say sorry again" she said and about to stand up but I stopped her.

"Don't you ever do that" I said seriously. She removed my hand on her shoulder and tried to stand up again but I pushed her down. She gazed at me again with a blank expression on her face.

"We talked about this before, I told you that once you hurt her you will never have her back" I added.

"I didn't say yes" she argued before trying to stand up again but she failed because I am standing in front of her.

"Allison!"

"We both gave you a chance and you wasted it!" I blurted out in anger. She didn't respond and it made me angrier.

"She's my girlfriend now so please stop it!" She was taken aback by what I said but she tried her best to hide it. She started playing the same song but a bit faster now, which means that she no longer want to hear me talk.

"I love her you know that, it's my chance now. I'm sorry" I said as my tears started to fall. 

"I will ----" I didn't finish what I'm about to say because she started pressing the base keys with increased volume.

"I'm sorry Ali" I said sadly before closing her door.
