My eyes quickly popped open, then widen in shock when I saw Kian kissing me...

"Kian!" I screamed under his kiss and immediately pushed him away with all my strength. He stumbled backward away from me as I stared at him; tears filled my eyes. He looked up at me in shock at how strong I was, "Get out!" I yelled at him, trying not to cry.

"Ariel." He said, taking a step closer to me, ignoring me, "I can ex-"

"Get out!" I yelled, cutting him off, glaring at him, but he just continued to stand there staring at me, "Get out of my room!" I shouted again, not caring if Adam heard me. Kian looked at me stunned, then sighed, leaving my room.

As soon as he grabbed Adam's stuff in the hallway, I slammed the door shut behind him and leaned my back against the door as I sighed heavily, about to burst into tears. I bit my bottom lip as I leaned my head back against the door until I couldn't take it anymore.

My body dropped down as I fell to the floor crying, pulling my knees up to my chest, throwing my arms around them. I dropped my head to my knees, sobbing.

I wasn't crying because Kian scared me.

I was crying because I used to like him.

Sometimes I kind of still do.

Kian's POV

As soon as I walked out of her room, Ariel slammed the door behind me. I glanced back to her closed door before grabbing Adam's stuff and headed downstairs.

Walking outside into the backyard, I saw Adam looking down at his phone. I guess he heard me coming down the back desk cause he looked up at me, putting his phone down on the folding table we had set up.

"What took you so long?" He asked as I walked up to him and handed him things he asked me to grab. I shrugged once he had them in his hands and put my hands in my back pockets.

"I bumped into her sister," I said honestly. Adam nodded understanding as he put down the old camera and started opening up the tripod, "She seems cool." I added, knowing that wasn't the right word to describe Ariel.

She was a lot more than that to me.

"Yeah." Adam replied, "She's pretty cool once you get to know her. She's sometimes shy at first." He added. I glanced over at him as he took the camera and set it up on the stand.

Should I tell him I already know Ariel?

Does he think the other day was the first time we've met each other?

"I actually... kind of already know Ariel," I admitted, not sure how to tell him. He looked up at me, surprised, "We had an elective together last year." I told him, which was true, "And I kind of developed a crush on her." I whispered loud enough for Adam to hear. His head turned, and he looked at me, grinning under his breath. I sighed, not sure if his response was good or bad.

Then I just flat out asked.

"Would you be cool if I asked her out?"
