It was finally the day.

The day of (best friend's name)'s departure.

(Y/n) felt extremely happy for her friend, but couldn't help but shed a tear.

(B/F/n) was her best friend at the time.

Even though she lacks intelligence, unlike (Y/n), the (h/c)-haired girl acknowledged her.

"It's okay, (Y/n)." 6-Year-Old Emma said in a comforting manner, her soft hand patted (Y/n) in the back in a soothing way.

"I promise to write letters!" (B/F/n) reassured, her eyebrows curled up while a saddened smile stretched her rosy cheeks.

(Y/n) ran towards her, tears streamed out of her eyes due to the wind pressure.

The two best friends hugged each other tightly, Emma and Norman tried holding back their tears while Ray leaned against the wall, an open book in his palms.

"(B/F/n), it's time to go." Isabella reminded, causing (B/F/n) to break the embrace.

"Y-You promise to write letters...?" (Y/n) asked, her voice cracked while her breath hitched slightly.

(B/F/n) nodded her head and let go of her arms, (Y/n)'s arms dropped on her sides.

"Bye-bye, (Y/n). I-I'll miss you." She waved her hand gently, Isabella opened the door for her and the two disappeared, leaving a weeping (Y/n) behind.

Emma trotted towards her, kneeling to her level as she rubbed soothing circles around her back, trying to comfort her the best she could.

"If you want to chase after her and give a proper goodbye, might as well do it now." Michelle, one of the eldest, bluntly suggested, Ray's ears perked up at her uncalled-for words.

(Y/n) rethought about Michelle's suggestion, and thought: 'What could go wrong?'.

The (h/c)-haired girl regained her balance and ran out the door as well, with her incredible athleticism, she would reach the gate in no time.

Ray glared at the elder sibling, oh how mindless is she?

"But wouldn't mama find out?" Norman asked in a worried tone.

Michelle laughed proudly at his question, shaking her head in response to his innocent question.

"Have you just met (Y/n)? She's a true ninja!" Michelle exclaimed, startling the albino child due to her booming voice.

The elder child knelt to Norman's level, placing her warm hand on his shoulder with a confident smile on her face.

"She'll be okay." She reassured, lifting his spirits.

'You just don't get it, do you?' Ray thought, gritting his teeth behind his pressed lips.
