"Is Rae home?"

My mother tilted her head. "She's grounded, but I guess you could go up there."

Brooke walked through the hall, and up the stairs. I heard a knock on my door, and almost knew it was her.

"Uh, come in." I quickly wiped my smudged eyeliner.

"Hey girly. How was work yesterday?" She laid on the bed.

"You know, good." I sniffled. She quickly brought her head up.

"Are you-

She grabbed my shoulders, and pulled me into a hug. "What's wrong?"

"I'm just stressed over finals, that's all."

"Finals were last week, stop lying to me." She pulled my hair back.

"I-I was at the police station yesterday."

Her eyes went wide. "What happened? Are you hurt?"

"Jiminโ€”

She stood up. "That bastard, what did he do? Do I have to fight him?"

I lightly laughed, but then returned to my droopy mood. "He gave me a ride after the exam."

"Honey, you know better." She lowered her brows.

"I know I know. Yoongi ditched me, so he was my only option, and he insisted."

"So what went wrong?" She quietly asked.

"He just.. he made me feel uncomfortable." I hid my face from embarrassment. "Gosh, this is so weird to talk about."

"What the hell did he do?"

"He started touching me, and making sexual jokes, and a- I'm sorry for being so over dramatic."

She rubbed my back. "It's okay, you're not being over dramatic. No guy should ever think he has the right to touch you without your permission. And anyone who thinks otherwise can suck my dโ€”"

"I just can't trust being around him anymore. It's hard to avoid him, since he's my neighbor, and he hangs around Yoongi, Hoseok, just everyone."

"Listen, you stay here. I'll go talk to him. He won't be mean to Hoseok's girlfriend." She smiled at me.

I nodded, not so sure if this was a good idea or not.

__

Brooke walked across the street, and up the white steps. She rang the door bell fifty times, but no one was answering. Brooke rolled her eyes. "Come on, just answer already.."

It was as if he read her mind, when she heard noise near the stairs. The door was opened to a very wet and shirtless Jimin. He bit the inside of his cheek, while he extended his arm to the door frame.

"Hoseok's not here."

She stepped forward and pushed the arm that was blocking her. "I know."

"Listen, if you're here to cheat on Hoseok, I'm not that kind of a person. I'm flattered you chose me though."

"I'd never cheat on Hoseok, you pig." She pushed past him, as he furrowed his brows.

"So why are you here then?" He turned around, closing the door. She sat on the couch, and he followed her.

"Want a drink?" He spoke as he opened a KitKat.

"No, but I'll have one of those." Brooke pointed to the KitKat in his hand.

He ripped a piece of it, and threw it to her. Jimin sat on the couch across from Brooke, and rested his elbows on his knees.

"What happened yesterday?"

He leaned back into his chair. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"The police station?"

He suddenly lifted himself up. "How'd you know about that?"

"Rae told me, how else?"

"What a sneaky bitch." He scoffed.

"One, she's not a bitch. Two, why are you so cold towards her?"

"How am I cold? I offered her a ride, and she was being stubborn about it."

She raised her brow. "Me and you both know you weren't doing that out of generosity. You wanted something else, and was pissed when you couldn't get it."

He leaned forward. "I could get any girl I want. Just remember, I had you wrapped around my finger before you were with Hoseok."

She glared at him. "Why'd I ever go out with you..."

"We both know why." He looked down and smirked.

"Yeah, now I remember why I dumped your sorry ass." Brooke snickered. "Would you just listen to me?"

He laid his head back, and motioned his hand for her to speak.

"Stop the sexual jokes with Rae. She doesn't like you, and she'll never go out with you. You're making her feel uncomfortable, and it's bad enough she has to work with you, but you're also her neighbor."

"She should be happy I'm hitting on her. Any girl would want to be in her position."

"From a girls point of view, no thanks."

He shook his head. "If you want me to stop making comments, I'll stop."

"You will?" She tilted her head.

"Yeah." Jimin shrugged his shoulders, before smirking at her eagerness. "Listen, I think you should probably go. I wouldn't want Hoseok to know you came here alone."

Brooke furrowed her brows as she caught onto the tone of his voice. "Are you threatening me?"

"Of course not." The corner of his lips curved into a devious smile.

"You're such a fucking dickhead." Brooke spat as she got up from his couch and rushed out the door.

She ran all the way back to my house. Honestly, poor Brooke. She must've really got a good workout from how many times she raced across the street and back. I tried to read her expression as she came into my room, and damn, was she angry..

"What happened?" I raised my brows as she sat on the edge of my bed. "I'm guessing it didn't go well?"

"He's such an asshole." Brooke randomly blurted out. "I can't stand him. All he wants to do is ruin my relationship with Hoseok."

"Why would he wanna do that?" I lowered my brows.

"Because we used to date freshman year. I started dating Hoseok right after I broke up with him, and I guess that pissed Jimin off."

"He has no right to be pissed." I crossed my arms over my chest. "Didn't that bastard dump you?"

"Don't remind me." She scoffed.

The ringing phone caught my attention, and who else could it be.

"What's up Hoseok?" I tried to sound cheerful, knowing that Brooke was a nervous wreck right behind me.

"Have you seen Brooke? I tried calling her house phone, but no one's home." He mumbled through the speaker.

"Uh.." I looked over at Brooke and she quickly shook her head. "No, she's not here."

Hoseok sighed on the other line. "Let me got to Jimin's place to make sure he hasn't seen her."

"Wait Hoseok!" I shouted, just as he hung up.

I slowly turned to Brooke. "We're in trouble."

โ€”

"What the fuck is this?" Jimin glared at Jungkook who was busy watching his trippy cartoon shows.

Jungkook didn't reply, but instead, stared at the television screen in awe.

I ran through the open door, Brooke followed behind me. Jungkook and Jimin both turned their heads as they heard us run inside.

"There's a doorbell.." Jimin gave a petty remark.

"Listen you shit." His eyes widened as Brooke pointed at his chest. "Hoseok's about to come over here and if you dare say something likeโ€”

"Brooke?"

We all slowly turned to face Hoseok, when Jungkook let out an obnoxious burb.

"Get the fuck out my house." Jimin shoved him off the couch before walking towards his friend. "What the hell is going on here? Is there a gathering that everyone knows about, but me?"

"I was coming over here to look for Brooke, but I guess she's already here." He gave us a blank stare.

I looked at Jimin, and gave him a serious, but also pleading look. He gave me a subtle smirk in return, before relying to Hoseok. "I called them both over."

"But you said you weren't with her?" Hoseok lowered his brows at me.

"She was actually on her way to surprise me." I tried my best to come up with an excuse. "For passing my math exam." I nervously added.

"I thought our math exam is tomorrow." Jimin smugly raised his brow.

I know what he's doing. This shit head is trying to confuse me, so that I end up messing up my whole story and getting Brooke in trouble.

"No.." I sternly argued. "I'm one hundred percent sure it's today." I put emphases on the last word.

"Maybe you're right." Jimin shrugged his shoulders.

I rolled my eyes as he walked towards the couch. "I think we should all just watch a movie and forgot about all this confusing bullshit." Jimin suggested.

"Why the fuck not." Hoseok chuckled as he plopped onto the couch, right beside Jimin, and Jungkook, who was lying on the floor.

"Come on baby." Hoseok patted the seat next to him, and Brooke slowly turned to me.

I nodded my head for her to sit, and walked towards the door when she wasn't looking.

"Why are you leaving so soon?"

I rolled my eyes. "Jimin, you could play this game with them, but don't try it with me."

"You can't except the fact that I'm trying to be nice to you."

"Really? What do you want then?" I narrowed my eyes.

"Stay with us. You look stressed from exams, I think you need to relax a little." He nudged my cheek, and smiled.

I was left at the door, kind of flustered, but more so confused. "What the hell just happened." I muttered to myself. I walked back to living room, and sat beside Brooke and Hoseok.

The lights were off, and the only source of light came from the tv. It's amazing how these guys love horror movies.

"You want one?"

I looked to my right, and saw Jimin with a beer in his hand. I shook my head. "No thanks."

"What else do you want then?" He got up from his seat.

"Nothing, really. I'm fine."

Jimin rolled his eyes and gently grabbed onto my wrist. "Don't be shy around me. Come on, see what we have."

I decided that resisting would only make him continue, and followed him to the kitchen. He opened his fridge, and moved out the way.

"It's all yours."

I gave him a suppressed smile, and reached for a coke. "Thanks."

"Anytime."
