"Honey, would you get the phone?" My father asked my mother as he was twenty minutes late for work.

"Bye." She gave him a lazy wave, sighing as she walked towards the phone. "Alanis household?"

"Oh, Karen?" She raised her tone to a sweet one.

"I'm great, how are you holding up with the two rascals?" My mother have her a wicked laugh.

"Brooke and Rae, who else?" She softly chuckled after the woman seemed extremely confused.

"What do you mean you thought they were at my house?" She nearly dropped the house phone.

She listened carefully while Brooke's mom spoke into the phone, and her eyes narrowed. "Get your purse Karen, we're going hunting."

Jimin's mother laid back on the couch, as she drew a puff of smoke from her, almost vanished cigarette.

"Open up." My mother sounded like she was apart of some mafia as she knocked on the door.

"No soliciting!" Jimin's mom yelled. "I don't care who you are, I don't want your chocolate truffles!"

"It's me, Laurie." My mother pressed her face to the door. "It's about your son."

Miss Park loudly groaned as she smashed her cig into the ash tray, walking towards the door. "This better be good, I haven't yelled at him in a while."

"May I come in?" My mom stepped inside anyways as Brooke's mother, Karen, followed her inside.

"Who the hell are you?" Miss Park hissed.

"The mother of your son's ex girlfriend." She sassily remarked.

"What's this about." Jimin's mom crossed her arms as she sat down in the dim living room. "Why can't you just call the cops on the boy, they know how toΒ  deal with him better than me."

"Listen, your son didn't do anythingβ€”well at least not yet." My mom tried to be casual. "Is your son home, we'd like to speak to him for a moment."

"He's a friends house for the break, what's the kids face, Hoseok or something." His mom shrugged her shoulders.

Brooke's mother raised her brows as she heard the name of her daughters boyfriend. "Let me call his mother real fast, may I use your phone."

"Ehβ€”" She gave her a dismissive wave. "Call a taxi for yourself, while you're at it."

"Karen." My mother grabbed her shoulders. "She's always like this, don't pull her hair out, okay?"

Brooke's mother harshly grabbed the wall phone as she quickly punched in Hoseok's mother's number, even though her son lives in his own apartment.

"Hello?" Karen went hysteric when she heard her voice. "Yes, I know it's late, but listen, Brooke left without telling us, and we can't find and also her friend Rae. Are they with Hoseok by any chance?"

"Ahβ€”" Karen muttered while she slowly shook her head at my mother, ready to beat their asses. "So he's in Colorado you say?"

My mom and Jimin's mom widened their eyes.

"He went with how many friends?" Brooke's mom asked. "Oh, three other friends? And he didn't tell you their names?"

Miss Park grabbed a bat from behind her couch.

"Alright, well thank you miss Jung." Karen smile faded as she slammed the phone into its holder.

"Ladies, we're going to Colorado."

I held onto Jimin's hand, as he lifted me onto the hood of his car. His hand traced the jeans that he picked out, yeah, the low waisted ones. We both rested on our backs, glancing up at the sun, just when it rose. Jimin put his arm around me, and brought me close to his chest. He leaned closer, gently kissing my lips while I smiled against his mouth. "Stop teasing me." He softly chuckled.

"I'm glad it's working." I giggled at his frustrated face.

"Aurelia." Jimin gave me a warning look.

"Jimin." I said in the same exaggerated tone.

"I love when you say my name." A smile appeared on his lips as he looked over at me. "I wonder when the last time I'll hear you say it, will be."

"Don't think like that." I nudged him in the ribs. "I still can't cooperate with your negative comments, and you know just how negative you are, right?"

"I can be positive." He defended himself.

"Really?" I raised my brows. "I told you I wanted a cat, and then you listed out all the possible ways it could die, and how i would end up feeling guilty."

"Because it's true!" Jimin argued. "I had a cat once and it got hit by a car."

"That's not your fault though." I rested my hand on his shoulder.

"I mean, yeah I shouldn't have been speeding in the first place, but you can't really blame mβ€”"

"You ran over the cat?" I gasped.

"Yeah, didn't we just establish that." He muttered.

"Jimin, oh my goodness, now I know why you feel all that guilt." I chuckled. "You're a walking dumbass."

"And you're a walking virgin." Jimin grinned. "We don't always get what we want, do we?"

"I think it's a coincidence that every word leaving your mouth is idiotic." I pinched his sore nipple, smirking as he shut his eyes. "oops, I truly forgot."

"Did you?" He sarcastically spat.

"Come onβ€”" I jumped off the hood of his car, and held his hand. "Let's see what they're making."

Jimin followed me into the cabin, which smelt of burning bread and grilled chicken. I pinched my nose shut as we walked inside the kitchen. Jimin rolled his eyes as he saw Hoseok and Brooke just standing there, like nothing happened.

"Are you proud of this shit or something?" He held up the burnt bread, before tossing it to the table.

"Hey, I worked hard on that." Brooke lowered her brows. "I'll admit, I'm not really the best cook but who says I can't learn?"

"You better learn fast." Hoseok wiped his mouth with a napkin, before standing from his chair.

My pupils grew as I looked over at Brooke who was as still as a statue. Jimin was the only confused one here, but was soon clued in when he saw his friend on one knee.Β

"What the fuck is happening?" Jimin nearly choked on his drink.

"Brookeβ€”"

She cut him off with a loud screech, and leaped into his arms. I turned to Jimin, slowly shaking my head with disbelief. I couldn't believe that Hoseok, who's still in high school, proposed to Brooke who he met just two years ago. I mean it's cute and all, but even me and Jimin aren't that wild.

"What the actual fuck." Jimin muttered under his breath, running his fingers through his hair. "How did yβ€”were you planning this the whole time, you sneaky bastard?"

"Why do you think were in Colorado?" Hoseok replied as he hugged his newβ€”fiancΓ©e.

That's gonna be hard to get used to.

"Damn." Jimin licked his lips as he looked over to me. "We gotta step up our game, baby."

"Shut up for two seconds." I pushed my finger to his lips. "Oh my fucking goodness, you're engaged!"

Brooke screamed while she jumped into my arms, hugging me as tightly as she ever has. I cried onto her shoulder, sobbing like a fool. "My little baby's not a baby anymore." I loudly cried as Brooke did.

Jimin rolled his eyes as he turned to Hoseok. "You are truly fucking crazy."

"I know." Hoseok brought his arm around Jimin's shoulder. "That's why we're perfect for each other."

"What do you think everyone at school is gonna say?" Jimin lowered his brows. "Or your parents?"

"I think they'll be really happy for us, and if they're not then they can just fuck off because we'll just be together either way." He shrugged his shoulders.

"You thought wrong bitch!"Β

Jimin's eyes widened. "M-mom?"
