"Are you sure you want to go back to the place you work, on your weekend off?"

"It's okay mom, it'll be fun." I muttered.

Tonight was Halloween. Jimin asked me if I wanted to go to the fair with him, and I stupidly agreed. I didn't know what I was thinking. He's proven himself wrong way too many times.

"Do you need any money?" My dad asked from the couch. Both him and my mom were dressed in their Halloween costumes, to apparently show spirit when the kids come for candy. It's kind of creepy actually.

"I'm good, I have my last paycheck remember?"

"Right, okay be safe." He waved at me while wearing the most ridiculous costume. I couldn't take them seriously.

"Bye." I waved back, before leaving the house. Jimin said he'd pick me up now, but I don't see the problem with me just walking over to his house.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked across the street. Every house in the neighborhood had Halloween decorations up, except his. The porch lights weren't even on. I walked through the groups of kids carrying pillowcases, and walked up Jimin's door step. I knocked on the door, and stepped back.

"If it's kids, tell them we're Christians and don't believe in the devil." I heard Jimin's mother whisper. Too bad the door was cracked open.

Jimin opened the door, and just stood there. I literally mean it when I say he stood there. He didn't invite me in or say a word. Although I did notice he was missing a shirt.

"Are you gonna let me in? It's cold." I pushed past him, and he still looked confused.

"Where's your bowl of candy?" I asked, secretly hungry for something savory.

"I don't have that kind of money." He muttered.

"You don't have a dollar?" I raised my brow.

"Nope, spent my whole paycheck." He smirked.

"Well then what are you gonna tell those kids walking up to your door right now." I grinned, opening the door for them when they knocked.

"Trick or treat!" The kids yelled, some of them walking inside to look for the candy.

"Get the fuck outโ€”

Jimin bit his lip from saying anything else. He sometimes forgets who he can cuss at and who he can't.

"I don't have any candy. Go look for a white van and get the hell out." He warned the kid that was going through his drawers.

"Your girl friend said there was candy." The boy tried to be smart.

"Oh did she now?" He looked over at me.

"First off all, I'm not his girlfriend, and second, when did I say anything?"

The little boy whacked me with his bag before running away, laughing with his other friends.

"Ow, what the hell?" I held my knee, while Jimin just sat there laughing. "It's not funny, I'd like to see you get hit by a bag filled with five pounds of candy."

"I'm not you Rae."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I crossed my arms.

"I'm not a fucking baby." He elaborated while reaching for his hoodie. "Did you bring a jacket?" He asked while I narrowed my eyes.

"No, why?"

"Because it's cold.."

He opened his closet again. "Here, wear this."

He threw a black hoodie at my arms, and grabbed his keys from the counter. I lifted the hoodie over my head, pulling it down. It was slightly bigger than the clothes I usually wore, but it was actually comfy. Did I mention that it smelt like him? I'm not weird okay?

"Jimin." I quietly spoke his name as we sat in the car.

"Hm." He was busy adjusting the heat.

"I need to talk to you." I mumbled, not sure how to talk about last night.

"About what?" He casually asked.

"Uh, I think you know."

"I don't think so." He flashed a fake smile.

"Jimin." I loudly groaned.

"What? I seriously have no idea what you're talking about?" He laughed as he gripped the top of the steering wheel.

"Yesterday night." I quickly said, proud of myself.

"Ah, you hit your head so hard that you can't even remember." He joked, knowing it would spike an argument.

"W-what? That was your fault you dumbass."

"How the hell was it my fault?" He played innocent.

"That's what I was getting to." I pointed out. "Can you explain why-

"I kissed you?" He finished my sentence.

"Yeah.." I raised my brow.

"I'll explain once you get that stupid grin of your face." He watched my face go back to normal.

"I kissed you because I wanted to." He continued to stare at the road.

"Well that tells me a lot." I laughed, turning my head to the window. I felt the car start to slow down, and took a right turn.

"Why are we at a McDonald's drive thru?" I narrowed my eyes, but also was holding back a laugh. I don't know why, but I found it funny how he picked this one place to talk.

"To buy some fucking nuggets, what else." Jimin lowered his window as he pulled up to the machine.

"Quick, what do you want?" He turned to me and I just raised my brow.

"Are you being serious Jimin? Do you really think I'm that obsessed with food, because you're right." I leaned over to see the menu up close.

"How can I help you?" The woman spoke through the speaker.

"I'll have a Big Mac with extra Mac sauce, a quarter pounder, some large fries, and Diet Coke."

Jimin turned in his seat, and stared at me with widened eyes. "Damn girl, you added that diet coke like it would make you healthy."

"Just order your food." I smiled.

He cleared his throat before speaking. "I was just gonna order some nuggets, but I guess not."

"Oh c'mon Jimin." I pushed his shoulder. "Just order what you want."

"He'll have 10 nuggets and a coke." I spoke for him, while he just raised his brow at me.

"What?" I laughed.

"Nothing." He shrugged his shoulders as he pulled up to pay.

"Here." I held out ten dollar bill, and he just chuckled.

"Baby, put that back in your pocket." He shook his head while grinning.

"Don't baby me. I'm trying to pay you back for taking me out to eat breakfast that one time."

He pulled out his wallet, and handed the woman a ten dollar bill. She handed him his change and then the food.

"Enjoy." He handed me my bag. I swear, it weighed twenty pounds.

"Thanks bud." I grabbed the bag, and put it in my lap while he drove forward to briefly park the car.

"Wait." He stopped me. "Before you start..."

"Jimin.." I lowered my brow as he leaned closer. His hand grabbed my face, pulling me close to him. I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact of his lips when a knock at the window, startled us both.

"I forgot to give you your drinks." The woman smiled.

Jimin's cheeks slightly reddened as he lowered his window to take the drinks. "Thanks." He barely mumbled.

"Anytime." She smiled, before walking into the crowded sit in.

I turned my face to the window, feeling embarrassed for being so vulnerable. Jimin noticed, and tried his best to make me feel better.

"Here's your Diet Coke, fatass."

My mouth parted as I turned to face him. "Excuse me you little bastard?"

"Hey, you can't call me a bastard. My dad's practically dead to me."

"I can't tell if you're joking or not." I looked into his eyes.

"I'm joking baby." He softly spoke.

"What's up with you calling me baby?" I lowered my brows at him.

"Cause you're my baby. What more can I say?" He shrugged his shoulders.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a fry from my bag.

"Here, I forgot to get you some." I lifted the fry to his mouth.

"And she's got a food kink, damn." He pretended to talk to himself. I laid my head back, letting out an obnoxious ass laugh.

"Shut up and eat the fry." I threw it at his chest, but he ate it anyways.

"You're cute, you know that right?" He sighed with a smile.

"Park Jimin, did you just call me cute?" I pretended to be flattered.

"It's true." He nodded, before the corners of his lips rose.

"Jimin, can I ask you a question?" I asked almost stuttering. Since when did I get so nervous.

"Yeah." He licked his lips in anticipation, waiting to hear the question I wanted to ask.

"Why are you so nice to me lately? I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering why you changed your mind so quickly." I managed to say all the words I wanted to say without panicking.

"Hm.." He played with the steering wheel. "That's a tough one to answer."

"I don't care." I leaned forward, becoming intrigued.

"Well first you have to know how you make
me feel." He started to say. "A man can only take so much before he eventually falls in love with someone."

My eyes were frozen to his. I couldn't believe the words that just came out of his mouth. He didn't mean it, he didn't mean it, is all I kept thinking.

"The way you hate me, makes me want you." He looked up from his lap and at me.

"B-but

"There's not one girl that occupies my mind more than you do. It drives me fucking crazy." He sighed, as if he were love struck.

"Jimin, I never knew you felt that way." I whispered.

"Well now you know." He whispered back, keeping his eyes locked to mine.

This was it. He had me completely wrapped around his finger. If he kissed me, I'd kiss him back. I didn't know why I thought this way, but I didn't care. He was the only boy that messed with my heart like this, and I'll admit it, sometimes seeing him makes my day.

"I-I don't know what to say." I hesitantly looked up at him, occasionally glancing at his luscious lips.

"You don't have to say anything." He whispered, before leaning over his seat to press his mouth to mine. His lips were firm and hungry, as if he hasn't kissed a girl in months. I noticed the way he held my face, yanking me to him. Or the way he made sure I couldn't sneak a breath in between our wet kiss.

We both jumped when Jimin's elbow accidentally hit the car horn. Both of us laid back in our seat, panting as we tried to catch our breaths. He turned to me, still breathing heavy and smirked.

"You change your mind yet?"
