Christmas

"Please just let me check on him....I have to" I begged my mom.

"No, we are bout to have Christmas supper. We can't break tradition."

"But Jamie is hurt!!! He needs me."

"Give the boy some space damn, you don't need to be next to him every second of the day. Jamie's a big boy and it's just a cut" my mom countered taking the Roast.

"He's fines I don't see why your so worried, we talked he told me everything and I promised him that I would deal with it." Danny said leaning against the table.

"You know?" I asked eagerly. Who ever is picking on my boyfriend I wanted to make them pay for it.

"He begged me not to tell you, it's Only gonna make things worst trust me I got this." Daniel hugged me. Even though he gets jealous of Jamie sometimes he really cares about him and I see that now. I sat at the table with the rest of my family and we bowed our head to grace say.

"Amen" we all said together.

There was chatter here and there around the table.

"I remember one Christmas when we were little Jasper got a new jeep and decide to chase after the ice cream truck." Danny said we all laughed. I remember that....that man thought I was crazy.

After the "supper" in my world lunch. We proceeded into the living room to open gifts. I sighed looking at Jamie's gifts under the tree.

"Bro don't you want to open your gift??" Danny smiled and so did mom and grandpa nodding slightly. It was a small box...the smallest one to be exact.

I took the wrapping off of it and opened the box. It was a key.

"Come on!!!!!" Danny ran to the front door. And that's when I seen it. A silver Mercedes Benz parked in the front yard with a huge ribbon on it.

"No way!!! You guys got me a car?!!!!" I hugged my mom and Danny.

"Thank your brother I was going to get you some clothes ." She said I looked at him and just couldn't stop smiling. I hugged him again and Aaron came running outside.

"You got a car?!" Aaron was shocked.

"Want to take it for a spin?" Daniel eyed me. "and chase down the ice cream truck ?" I kicked him and ran into the car and he followed me.

"Jasper!!! Jasper!!! Jamie had a seizure!!! He's in the emergency room!!!" Caleb yelled out the door with my cell phone in his hand. I ran to get the phone.

"Hello??"

"Jasper?"

"Yeah, I'm on my way."

I hung up the phone getting in my car a pulling off without hesitation. I could hear mom screaming my name. I arrived at the hospital and seen Reba in the waiting room.

"He's in room 103, I already signed you in." I made my way to the room.

He was laying still.....to still. I came and kissed his cheek.

"Baby.....wake up" I whispered. He groaned and I turned his head to the side to see had 4 stitches. I cringed, it was only a scratch when he left.

"This is all my fault I never shou-"

"No. It's not"

"Are you okay?"

"Does it look like I'm okay pretty boy?" I remember he said that to me after he took that punch for me on the first week of school. I kissed his lips gently and I heard a gasp behind me followed by a cough.

"Excuse me?" The doctor made a face.

"You have a problem with me kissing my boyfriend because I'm defiantly in the ass kicking mood" I stood up.

"I have a problem with you kissing my patient....sexual harassment. I can have you arrested an put out." He

"Arrested? For sexual harassment?" I laughed Jamie grabbed my arm.

"Jaspy stop it..."

"I'm sorry doc, I'm just on edge. It's Christmas and my boyfriend got beat up and then all of a sudden he has a seizure." I sighed. Mr.Sanders walked through the door and nodded at the doc.

"His seizure was a cause of blunt for trama. This was no accident who ever did this was trying to hurt him obviously. And made his minor wound deepened. We also observed signs of abuse. The patient has nasty first to second degree recovering burns on various places of his body " he looked at the charts. Jamie pulled his head under the cover.

"Burns???" His father looked at me.

"I-I did it" I heard him sniffle. I pulled his head from under the cover and hugged him tightly rocking him back and forth.

"Jamie...you never told me..." Mr.Sanders tried to touch Jamie but he snuggle closer to me.

"Jamie Sanders, I'm going to need you to start taking your medicine again....your system has been clean of any medicine usage in the past month." The doctor handed the bag to Jamie's father.

"I'm going to write you a release form because it's Christmas and you should be with your family, but I need you to come back in a week so we can make sure your taking your prescribed medication." Jamie's father nodded.

"This is your car?!!!" Jamie gawked as he sat in the front seat. "like your own car"

"Yeah but I have to get a job to get gas money when the full tank runs out" I laughed. I started up the car.

"I-I don't want to go back to your house." Jamie looked down.

"We don't have to baby I just wanted to give you your gift. My father invited your parents over to their new house they are having a get together. Just us, some of their co-workers." I told him patting his leg.

"I hid your gift under your bed." he smiled. We pulled up in the crowded drive way. My moms friends and her whole side of the family was here.

"I'll be right back." I told him running into the house.

"There's my man!!!"

"It's been a long time."

I was greeted by a series of peoples as I grabbed Jamie's gifts from under the tree and making my way to my room to get my wrapped box from under my bed.

"Is Jay going to be okay?" Caleb asked.

"Yeah he's in the car right now, here take these to the car too...tell him don't open anything." he nodded and I handed him the presents.

"Jasper, your were gone all day and didn't return my calls. What were you thinking?!" Mom hugged me.

"I was thinking about Jamie" I told her

"Aren't you staying for the party ?"

"No I'm going to see my dad. Atleast there I don't have to hide who I am."
I turned to leave.

"I'm sorry." she said walking away.

So far this Christmas wasn't going to well. I walked back out and seen Caleb giving Jamie a card.

"I made this just for you." Caleb laughed while Jamie smothered him
in a hug.

"We have to go Caleb" I told him ruffling his hair. Getting in the car and pulling off Jamie smiled.

"What's in the boxes?"

"You can open it later" I cheesed. Pulling up to the Mansion.
