"So what are you doing tomorrow" Kami ask as we are getting our nails done. Something simple, but tomorrow is my 20th birthday, honestly I don't want to anything. The only reason I'm getting my nails done is because King made me.

"I don't know, probably sleep" I laugh a little bit, but she hits me with a are you serious face.

"Girl, you know King is not going to let you sleep, I'm not either" she says shaking her head at me.

"Enough about me how you and Ron" I ask her wanting to talk about something else. Since my dad left I never celebrated my birthday.

"We good actually" she smiles I can tell she is happy, I hear the door bell ring and I see Chy and Carmen walk in.

"Sorry we late, we had to drop off Cairo" Chy says and they sit down next to us in the empty sits.

"Soo happy birthday Joy" Carmen reaches into her purse and pulls out a bag.

"What's that" I lift my eyebrow at her.

"The birthday girl has to be sexy on her birthday right" she laughs and pulls out some lingerie.

"You a mess" I laugh at Carmen.

"What you doing tomorrow" Chy ask me.

"She said she not doing anything" Kami talks for me.

"Girl please, you doing something. If King don't make you we will" Carmen crosses her legs.

"Why you not doing anything" Chy asks me.

"Just after my father left I just didn't celebrate it, we didn't have any extra money for no cake or gifts or anything and my mom kinda forgot after a while. So my birthday just became a normal day" I tell them, as the lady finish my nails.

"Damn, well you rockin with us now and we turn up" Carmen dances in her seat a little and Chy laughs at her.

"Trust me I know, but it's so much going on right now. With the whole Leo bs" I tell them rolling my eyes at the thought of it.

"Girl don't I know. That's all Killa talk about. But tomorrow your day ok" Chy says, "what you doing after this" Chy ask me.

"Nothing I guess" I say looking at Kami and she shrugged, so nothing was planned after this.

"Well, let's hit up the mall" Chy ask and we all agree.

4 hours later *

They drop me off at home. I carry the bags in to house and i look around and notice the house is quiet. King must not be home.

I take the bags with me upstairs and once i open the door I see a beautiful grown laying on the bed with some shoes and a necklace. I see a note next to it, I pick it up and see its King hand writing.

For my Queen
The day December 13 a queen was born but today December 12 will be celebrated just like the 13th. Joy be ready by 9 a car will be here to pick you up. There is a coat in the under the dress if you need it.

I look at my phone at it's 7 and I get ready slow so I start getting ready. I curl my hair and it comes out perfectly. I finally finished and I look good. I put on the coat and the necklace with a lion on it and I hear a the door bell ring. I open the door and I see a guy in a suit and he leads me to the car. The car is a big black Cadillac. We get in and about 30 minutes later the guy pulls up at a lake with a huge yacht on it lights up the lake. It's like a picture from a magazine, it's so beautiful.

The guy runs over to my side of the car and opens the door, I get out and he leads me to the boat. I walk on it and I see a older white guy and King talking. King is sitting down and the guy is standing up. They stop talking once I walk in, King gets up and walks over to me.

"Hello my Queen" He whispered in my ear and kisses me on the side of my face then my lips.

"This is Captain Grady" he grabs my hand and walk over to the man.

"Nice to meet you" I shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you too" he smiles. "The whole boat is yours tonight" he smiles and pats King shoulder then walks off.

"Come on" King smiles and we walk in the yacht.
"Let me get this" he takes off my coat.

"You didn't have to do this" I tell him.

"Yes I did" he kisses my cheek and he leads me over to a table with food on it and you can tell it was just cooked because of the steam coming off of it. We sit down and eat.

"How did you get this boat" I ask him wondering he has this man boat in the middle of winter and this yacht to huge.

"Me and Grady go way back" he said, but I looked at him like really, he look up at me and laughed.

"Ok, I basically helped him get this yacht. He was in debt and trouble with some people and I helped him out of both" he said leaning back. I noticed he had a chain with a lion on the end of it like the one he left on the bed but mines is shorter.

"Why a Lion" I ask him, he looks confuse then he catches on.

"This was my brothers, we would say we are mighty
as lions. Now we are mighty as Lion" he said looking in my eyes. Once we finish eating, he just looks at me.

"What" I laugh at him.

"I'm just lucky, you are so beautiful" he says grabbing my hand.

"King" I laugh at him.

"I'm Forreal Joy" he smiles.

"I know" I look everywhere but at him. He pulls something out of his pocket and puts it on the table. I look over and it's a small jewelry box.

"What's that" I look at the box then at him.

"Open it" he pushes it closer to me.

"King what is that" I ask him still not picking it up.

"Joy pick it up" he says, I pick it up and slowly open it. It's a ring, it's beautiful.

"It's beautiful" I smile at him.

"I promise you I will be there for thick and thin. There when it's dark clouds in our lives but at the end of it all there with be rainbows. I promise you my everlasting devotion, my loyalty, my respect, and my unconditional love for a lifetime. I promise I will build with you, you being my strong Queen, that will we win, fight, and conquer. I will be your protector, your friend, your family, your everything. I guarantee that" He says, I get up and walk over to him and hug him and kiss him.

He puts the ring on my finger and I feel my eyes tear up. "I'm sorry, they are tears of joy" I laugh and he wipes my eyes.

"I love you Joy" he looks into my eyes.

"I love you to Kyree" I tell him.
