Next morning
Last night, I was just so hurt. I don't know if it was the drugs taking but when he came in, but I missed him but I didn't want to talk. I need him to leave.

As I laying in the bed I feel the urge to pee. I get up and a go to the bathroom. I can move much more than I could last night. I'll be out the hospital in no time. Once I finish peeing I go out and see Carmen with some meds in her hand.

"Here, take these and you should be able to leave today, since you healed fast. Just don't move to much" she says as I sit back down and take the pills. Once I finish I hear a knock at the door. I look over and see mama grace.

"Hey Joy" she walks over and hug me.

"Hey mama" I hug her back.

"Hey Carmen" she smiles at Carmen.

"Hey mama Grace" Carmen smiles and walks out.

"Well" she says as she sits down looking at me. "He told me everything, I mean everything" she looks at my face then my stomach. "What happened last night" she ask.

"I don't know, I just wasn't ready to face him, but I felt like he should have been here" I confess to her.

"I know you guys have feelings for each other, honestly you have made my son happy and I can see it. But last night when I talk to him I heard the hurt in his voice. I know you are hurt too, he told me he came in late trying to find out who did this to you. Y'all are going to kill me being in these streets. Don't let him walk away from this relationship. You don't walk away either" she says grabbing my hand and I nod my head up and down.

"I'm not" I tell her.

We talk for a couple more hours and she leaves and I go to sleep. As I wake up I see I have a text from Kami.

Kami- how you feel?
Joy-ok
Kami- when are leaving
Joy- today
Kami- want me to come get you
Joy- yes please

About a hour later Kami knocks on my door, I pack my stuff, sign out and leave.

"Who all knows your leaving" Kami ask me as we walk to the car.

"You, Me, and Carmen" I tell her and she drives off.

"So do you know who shot you" Kami ask me as she cooks.

"Yeah" I tell her and she snaps her head towards me.

"Who" she stop cooking.

"Dona" I walks towards her, "Dona is Alex" I tell her and she drops her spoon.

"I knew she was a fucking snake, we have to tell King
" she runs over to her phone.

"Wait, he doesn't know I'm over here" I tell her I didn't tell anyone I was out the hospital .

"It's cool" she continues to call him.

As I'm laying on the bed, I look over and see my phone ringing

"King I know who shot Joy" Kami yells through the phone.

"Who" I lean up from laying on the bed.

"That snake ass hoe Alex she is Dona" she says, where did she get this information from.

"How you know" I ask her.

"Joy she at my house" she tells me, when Joy get out the hospital.

"I'm about to come get her" i tell her.

"No umm she sleep right now" she says. "Just handle Dona or Alex whatever her name is"

"Will do" I hang up my phone. I knew something was up, I just wish Joy would have said something to me and not wait.

I try to call Alex/Dona but she doesn't answer.

I call the offices and officer Cruz answer.

"We need to meet up" I tell him.

"When" he ask

"Now"

I sitting in my car waiting on them to pull up in the middle of no where. I brought Killa with me in case they try to jump some bs. They finally pull up and get out and so did we.

"Wassup man" Tenpenny ask placing his hands in front of him

"Nigga don't wassup me what the hell you brought that bitch in my shit and she shot my girl and she a opp" i yell at them.

"You need to clam down, we need the job done and it's done get over it" Tenpenny say, get over it naw it's not that easy. She shot Joy, she think she can get away with that.

"Where is she at" I ask them.

"We can't give that out" Cruz says, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Naw y'all can" I say and Killa drew his gun as Tenpenny drew his.

"Where she at" I ask them again.

"You want to know where she is at" Tenpenny ask me pointing his gun at me, then Killa shots him in his leg and he falls.

"Where is she" this time I drew my gun at them.

"Alright I'll tell you" Cruz say with a nervous look on his face. I can tell his is a rookie.

"Come with us" I pull Cruz by his collar and throw him in the trunk. Killa shot Tenpenny in his chest and we left. These dudes can't be cops, they played my ass.
