Next Day Morning

I wake up in an empty bed and as I lift my head up I get a huge headache and I can't move. It feels like I have to throw up but I can't. I try to get and this time a can. I grab my phone and text King.

Joy: I feel horrible, where you at

King❤️: At the warehouse, it's some meds in the bathroom closet

Joy: ok, I'm take them and I'll be at the warehouse later on

King❤️:Nah, just stay at home

Joy: You sure...

King❤️: Yeah I'm sure love, feel better

I put down my phone try to go to the bathroom but I give up and go back to sleep.

Deep in my sleep I get a phone call and I jump in my sleep. I see it's Kami.

"Hey honey, heard you sick, you cool" she yells through the phone.

"Hey, yeah a little" I say to her.

"We coming over," She tells me, I like how she just invited herself over and I already knew who "we" were.

"OK, Kami," I say and I hang up.

{King}

I sit in our meeting waiting on Tory and Killa, I grab a blunt and light it up. Then they walk in.

"Wassup yall," I say to them and they sit down.

"Wassup," Killa says.

"Wassup," Troy says.

"So what's the move," Killa say, I call them in here to talk about someone robbing my workers.

"It's about to get real ugly" I say to the and they nod their head.

"You know I'm ready," Troy says to us.

{Joy}

Kami, Carmen, Willow, Chy and I sit on the downstairs couch just having girl talk. Before they got over here, I got up and got in the shower and then laid back down and they came over and I went downstairs.

"So what happen" Chy ask as I tell them about me and King going to Rob house last night.

"A lot girl" I shake my head, as I eat my chicken soup.

"Yeah, Sam told me about you going off on Rob," Willow says.

"Yeah, I had to, he acted like nothing was going on, like come on dude I'm not dumb," I tell them.

"He was the one that got Troy out right," Kami ask.

"Damn, I knew it was something I should have asked him about, but yeah he was," I tell her.

"I feel like Troy different" Carmen says.

"What you mean," I ask her.

"He just been acting different", She says, I can't agree or disagree because I haven't seen him since I pick him up. I haven't talked to him much.

{King}

"So we going to put I dummy out and see what happen, I'm not about to change everything I do just because of some dumb nigga," I tell them and they nod they head. I'm surprised at how ready Troy is. But I know he is ready to get back in since he been for longer than expected.

"Next week, this has to be over," I tell them and they nod their head.

After I finish talking to Troy and Killa, I head out to go meet one of my workers that work in one of my corners. I pull and roll down my window and he walks up to my car.

"Get in," I tell him and he opens the door and gets in.

"Dang, King never saw you in the street before," He says as he gets in. This is one of my worker's that is in high school, struggling and need some money. His name Kamo.

"I started where you at, you know this," I say and he nods his head.

"So wassup," Kamo ask me.

"You know what's up, you know what happen to Lil Jo and the other guys can't happen again and I need you to do something for me," I say to him, I'm using him as the dummy. HE is going to be the only one posted. I'm not trying to get little dude killed.

"Man, I don't know..." He says putting his hand up to his head.

"Think about and let me know" I pull a stack of cash out and hand it to him.

"Shit I'll do it as long as I know when they come it's some people to back me up," He says with the stack of cash in his hand.

"Man yeah, I'm be parked right across the street," I tell him and he nods his head and puts the stack of cash in his pocket. "See you tomorrow," I say and he nods his head and gets out.

As he goes back to his post, I pull off and head home. I pull in my driveway and I head in the house. It's quiet I go upstairs and I hear music coming from the bathroom and singing. I open the door and I see Joy doing her hair and she smiles when she see me.

"You feel better," I say to her

"Yeah, I thought I was going to die this morning,"She says and I walk up to her and kiss her on her lips.

'What happen today" She asks.

After I finish telling her everything that went down today as she got dress.

"Where you going," I say to her as I'm on the laptop in my room.

"That address, I told you this last night," She says, dang she did tell me last night.

"Aw yeah, you did" I say to her and she slightly rolls her eyes.

As she looks in the mirror, she puts her jacket on and I close my laptop and get up and stand behind her. I put my arm around her and pull her close to me.

"Quit rolling your eyes," I say to her in her ear and she rolls her eyes again. I put my chin on her neck and then kiss her neck. She turns around and faces me.

"When I get back ok" she bites her lips and looks down, then she kisses me and walks out the door.
