It didn't take long for you all to reach the harbor.

Driving up to the loading deck of the port, it was clear pretty soon what was happening as Mr. Joestar slowly drove the car onto the boat.

"We're taking the car with us?" Polnareff asked and Mr. Joestar hummed in confirmation, looking at the Frenchman through the rear-view mirror.

"Once we dock in Burma, we'll have to travel a bit to reach the boat that will take us to India in time. So it's best to take the car with us."

"Wonderful."

Parking the car, it wasn't long before Mr. Joestar shut the motor off. "Alright, everyone out. We've got three cabins we can set up in for the night, then tomorrow morning we'll dock and make our way to India!"

With that, you all stepped out of the car, grabbing your measly bags from the trunk before walking to the door leading out of the loading deck where more cars were being driven on behind you.

Leading the pack, Mr. Joestar was walking as if he knew the boat inside and out already, and despite following him without complaint, you doubted he did.

Sure enough, after ending up at the front deck twice and also the baggage hull, Avdol opted to just ask a bypassing crew member.

"Excuse me?" The Egyptian man walked away towards a sailor walking into the boat, Mr. Joestar quickly following with a protest, saying Avdol should give him one more chance. Within seconds of them disappearing through the door, Polnareff announced he was going to go find something to eat.

"Polnareff, wait up, don't go wandering off alone!" Kakyoin blurted out, quickly following the Frenchman, and before you could make head's from tails, they were both gone, leaving you with Jotaro on the entrance to the boat deck.

"I- why did they all just do that?" You questioned, quickly turning back to Jotaro to make sure he was still there.

"Yare yare..." The man lowered his hat down over his face before lightly smacking your shoulder, wordlessly motioning you to follow as he started walking forward onto the deck.

Following him, you saw as he was slowly leading you to a seating area under an overhang. Several boxes were stacked here but it was reclusive as he simply sat down against one of them, his left leg propped up as his head was angled down.

Looking around a bit, you figured it was best to wait for the others to come pick you up rather than look for a cabin room you didn't have the key for. So, you ploffed down to your classmate's right, bringing your knees up and leaning your arms on them.

"How long are we supposed to be on this boat again?" You questioned after a few seconds and you heard Jotaro sigh.

Without lifting his head, he answered. "Until tomorrow morning. Were you not paying attention at all?"

"I was! Kind of."

Letting out a long, tired sigh, Jotaro lifted his head to look at you. "You're so dumb sometimes. How did we ever get a good grade on that project?"

"Love for the subject?" You questioned with a shrug, your voice pitching up at the end, making you sound unsure.

"That was a rhetorical question, dumbass."

A sudden dull boom, almost like wind suddenly exploding out of a tight tunnel, rang out from in front of you. In an instant, both you and Jotaro had thrown yourselves to the sides away from each other and you harshly landed on the ground before looking back, seeing a dark brown sludge stuck on the boxes right in between where you and Jotaro were just sitting.

Jotaro had dove into a roll, now sitting up on his haunches as you had wide eyes, you both now looking up to where the attack had come from, seeing a lanky and scraggly looking woman standing there.

"Shoot, I missed." She chuckled and Jotaro stood up with a glare, Star Platinum at the ready while you got up as quickly as you could, bringing out White Knight. The woman looked nearly deranged, her face sunken in and her hair greasy and unkempt.

"Who are you?" You spoke out as confidently as you could but the woman just giggled manically.

"Well you should know that now, don't you? Black Disease!" At those words, a cloaked Stand appeared behind her, all its features hidden in the shadow apart from its black fingers, shaped not unlike fingertraps, with the hollow middles and ringed outside. The two of you were barely given any time to react as it raised its arms, fingers stretched out, and projectiles of that brown sludge were launched from it in dull booms.

Quickly putting your shield in front of you, you saw Jotaro jump back and take cover behind the boxes, narrowly avoiding the attacks.

Hearing the projectiles continuously thunking into your shield, you looked around yourself to see the shooting was spread pretty far, so instead of having precise and single aimed attacks, it just continuously shot out of each individual finger, foregoing precision for quantity.

Snapping your head over to look at Jotaro, you could barely see him through the intense barrage sent his way, thankfully blocked by the boxes he was hiding behind, though he turned his head to face you, his face set in a grimace. The enemy Stand must be focusing one hand on him and one on you.

"Y/N, get out of there! You're being snowed in!" Jotaro's voice echoing through your Stand caught your attention and you looked around yourself to see the sludge shot at you – that you previously thought was just dissolving while on the ground and sticking onto the boxes – was sizzling and expanding into an almost foam like material.

"What?!" You exclaimed before cursing to yourself. Focusing on your Stand, you made it see-through on your end, only to be able to see nothing due to the amount of sludge stuck to it. You were completely blind.

Seeing your predicament, Jotaro got up; he had to get you out of there. There was no saying what this stuff would do if you touched it, but judging by the name of the Stand 'Black Disease' it couldn't be good. Gritting his teeth, he made Star Platinum pick up the top box he was hiding behind, before throwing it full force at the woman. "ORA!"

Seeing the box coming, she made her Stand point all its fingers to the incoming item. From them, a wall of sludge appeared that the Stand threw up, catching the box mid-air before letting it just sink down. The woman stepped aside, facing the delinquent and pointing at him with a deranged smile.

"I knew you couldn't resist, Jotaro Kujo!" She screeched victorious, suddenly aiming both hands at the now out in the open Jotaro. He widened his eyes and put Star Platinum in front of himself with crossed arms in defence as dozens of projectiles were shot at him in the span of a second.

"Jotaro!" No longer the focus of the attack, you jumped over the growing sludge in front of you and sent White Knight out in front of yourself, making her zip over to him and brandish her shield in front of Star Platinum as you ran, catching the projectiles right on time..

A grin curled onto the woman's face right in that moment. "Gotcha..."

Out of nowhere, Black Disease's cloak shifted, revealing a tail that instantly whipped in your direction, sending a large projectile your way that shot you in the right side of your neck.

You stumbled and froze in place while Jotaro's eyes widened. A shifting sound from where the enemy stood made Jotaro whip his head in that directing, seeing the Stand fold in on itself before shooting forward in a black blur, sucking itself into the graze shot and disappearing into the wound.

"Y/N!" Jotaro saw you falling backwards, jumping over to catch you as White Knight faded.

You were limp in his hold, your head lulled backwards and unresponsive. Around the two of you, all the sludge littered around silently dissolved into the ground, leaving no traces of anything while the woman giggled.

"Oopsies."

Snapping his head up with a feral glare, Jotaro sent Star Platinum her way, shouting a barrage of 'Ora's' but the woman merely dodged back out of his range before turning tail and running.

Placing your head down and standing up, Jotaro was about to go in pursuit when he felt a tug on the cuff of his pants. Looking down, your hand was balled into a fist, tightly holding onto the material.

Cursing, he decided to let the woman go as he crouched down beside you, seeing your eyebrows crunched up as your breathing was laboured. You looked... just like his mom. Sick.

Bringing an arm under your shoulders and under your legs, Jotaro lifted you and got up, finding himself standing on his own on the unfamiliar boat.

With you in his arms and the enemy nowhere to be found; he didn't know what to do.
