MATT'S POV:

I wake up feeling peaceful and comfortable and warmer than usual. I open my eyes and can see that I'm not in my own bedroom from the little light that is peeking through the curtains, but before I can fully panick, I remember that I slept over at Leo's and that the reason why I'm so warm, is because there is an arm around me, and by an arm, I mean Leo's arm. Leo is litteraly spooning me right now. And wow, I don't even care, because this feels absolutely great.

Now, the current problem is... how do I move without waking him up?

Answer: I don't. I'm just about to try and turn so that I can face him, very carefullu I might add, but as soon as I get comfortable, with my face facing his and his arm still around my waist, he starts laughing, still with his eyes closed and asks, "Were you trying to move without waking me up?"

I frown a little with a pout. And here I thought I had been super smooth. Guess I thought wrong.

I'm a little startled when I feel his lips on mine, but kiss him back immediately.

"Well, this surely is a nice sight to wake up to," he says.

I chuckle, "I could say the same."

He's just about to kiss me again when we're interrupted by a knock on the door and both of us scramble away from each other in an attempt to look normal, even though we are both very much shirtless.

"Leo!!Wake up, you lazy ass!"

Leo sighs and turns to me, "and that woul be my sister."

I laughed, "I thought you said she didn't live at your house anymore."

"She doesn't, even though it still seems like she does. She comes here almost every weekend with Liam to eat my mom's breakfast. You'd think she never even moved out."

"Ok then," I chuckle. "We should probably get up an start getting ready before someone comes in and gets the wrong idea."

We both get up and put on our shirts, well, Leo's shirts, we're both still in "pajamas"

"Well, what if I want them to get the idea?" Leo asks.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not out to my family,  I mean, I know you are and I know we haven't been dating for long, but I would like them to meet you...as my boyfriend."

He looked nervous, and it was actually kind of adorable, the way he seemed so hesitant and worried about my answer, like I would ever say no.

I walk over to him and grab his neck to pull him  down, so I'm able to kiss him. He immediately grabs my hips and starts kissing me back, pushing me against a wall. I seriously can't get over how nice kissing Leo is. His lips are so impossibly soft and skilled. I don't know how many people he's kissed to get this good and I really don't care because right now, he's kissing me and it feels so great, I can't even think straight. Pun intended.

Wanting more, I use the wall to my advantage and put my legs around his waist, bringing him closer to me. He starts trailing his kisses down my jaw and to my neck and moan when he starts kissing on my sensitive spot.

We're once again interrupted by pounding on the door, "Leo! I don't care if you partied to hard or whatever, yesterday, but I do care about mom's breakfast and she says she's not serving it, until you get your sorry ass downstairs, so hurry the Hell up!"

"Seriously, always a party pooper,"Leo grumbles in response to Cat's pounding on the door.

"Maybe it's better this way, things were getting too...intense either way," I say, with my legs still tightly wrapped around his waist.

"True, true. But maybe you might want to..." he trails off, pointing to my legs.

"Oh, yeah, right," I say as I get down.

We're both breathing heavily for a bit just looking at each other with smiles on our faces. And something else that would make my first breakfast with Leo's family as he's boyfriend a little awkward.

"Maybe just take a few more minutes before going down,"he says, blushing a little. Leo blushing is seriously the best thing ever.

A few minutes later we decide that we're good to go dowstairs and make our way to the kitchen.

Leo's mom is the first to spot us upon entering the kitchen and immediately comes running to hug me, "Matt! It's been a while, how've you been dear?"

"Good morning Mrs. Bryant, I'm sorry I keep staying at your house without your knowledge, but it's always a sort of last minute kind of thing," I smile bashfully.

"Oh honey, don't even worry about it! You're always more than welcome!"

"Yeah!" this time is Leo's sister, Cat, who speaks."Besides, it's not everyday we get to meet Leo's friends."

"We never meet Leo's friends," Liam suplies grinning.

"Actually," Leo interrupts. "Matt is more than a friend..."

Everyone looks at Leo and I, grinning.

Then Leo takes my hand, "Matt is my boyfriend"

I blush and just kind of wait for everyone's reaction, not really knowing what to expect.

"Oh honey that's wonderful!" Leo's mom shouts suddenly, startling everyone. "We kind of already figured you liked him at least a little bit since you've brought him here the first time."

"So you're ok with it?" Leo asks, still a little tense.

"Of course we do you dummie, why wouldn't we?" This time it's Cat the one talking.

"I don't know...you could just find it weird or something...I don't know!"

"Dude, it's totally cool, it's not like we're gonna shun you or something, what is? The 40's?"

Leo only now let's go of the breath he's been holding in.

And, Mrs. Bryant, only as if to prove a point, hugs Leo and kisses his cheek repeatedly.

"Ok, mom, I love you and all, but could you please stop?" Leo complains, gently pushing his mom away.

"Anyway! C'mon, everyone sit down, I made waffles for breakfast. Matt, honey, do you like waffles?"

"Who doesn't like waffles?" I answer giddily, actually meaning it and not trying to scare anyone with my unusual love for waffles, while at the same time also trying not to cry with all the affection everyone's giving me, making me feel included in an actual family.

"So Matt, does your mom know about you and Leo?" Mrs. Bryant asks, and I notice how she only mentioned my mom, she must remember the last time we talked.

I'm a little uncomfortable talking about my family, but I do it anyway seeing as they've been nothing but nice to me since the first time I've met them, "my mom doesn't really like my 'life choices'"I say using finger quotes."So umm, she's seen Leo dropping me off and picking me up sometimes and made a few umm, comments about it, but we never oficially told her."

Leo takes my hand under the table and kisses me on the cheek as a sign of comfort I'm guessing and to letting me know that he's there.

"Oh, well, if you ever need anything, please ask. I know I told you before, but you didn't seem to understand that I meant it so, I'm saying it again: it's ok to ask for help." Leo's mom says.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Bryant. Seriously, I really do appreciate it."

"It's ok, and didn't I tell you to call me Olivia? Yeah, don't think I didn't notice."

"Ok," I chuckle. "Thanks, Olivia."

"Now that's more like it."

After that, breakfast went by pretty quickly, the conversation was light and casual, they asked how Leo and I met and started dating and we told them, leaving out some details, obviously, until Leo and Cat started "fighting" for the last waffle. In the end, though, Cat won, having licked the waffle and Olivia sighing and shaking her head in mock disappointment while Liam just looks at Cat with a fond look in his eyes and between them like this is a normal occurrence, which I'm guessing it is.

We decide to leave after that, with a promise of me coming back for lunch some time soon.

We arrive at Mrs. Pemberton a few minutes later and both Leo and I go in for a while to talk. I've always kind of seen her as a mother figure, with her being one of the only people knowing the full story of what's happened to me and my family.

We end up having some tea with her while Chris and Oliver just kind of play around for a bit, even though they were supposed to "say goodbye".  And just as we're about to leave, we see Mike descending the stairs.

"Hey Matt! What a pleasant surprise!"

"Hey Mike, what's up?" I ask, then I feel Leo tense next to me and taking my hand.

"And who's your friend?" Mike asks, after glancing at our entwined hands.

"Oh, umm, this is Leo, my boyfriend," I answer taking a step closer to him.

"Damn it, I was hoping he was just really friendly," Mike says offering Leo his hand to shake."Nice you to meet you."

Leo seems to relax a bit and shakes his head, "nice to meets you too."

Still, the air seems kind of tense, so I decide to just end it, "Anyway...nice to see you again Mike, but we should get going, my shift starts in a few hours and I still have to shower and change clothes and all that jazz."

"Right. Don't worry Matt and Leo, now that I know you have a boyfriend I'll stop the flirting. Your boyfriend doesn't seem to like me all that much and I don't want trouble, so, see you next time I see you."

And with that we leave.

"So, what's the deal with Mike?" Leo asks once we're in the car. "Is he gay or something?"

"Mike doesn't like labels, he says, and I quote:"I like who I like and it's no one's business but mine, so I don't give shit". Those are his exact words, I've heard them too many times trust me."

Leo takes me home so I can do all that I promised I'd do. I go to the living room, only to see Chris and Leo talking about a movie playing on TV as if they've been best friends since forever.

"I hate to interrupt, but we have to go. And I still have to see if Macy or John can look after you today Chris, since I can't exactly bring you to work this time. I called in at work and Lily said there's a lot of people in today because of some game on TV, so she's sharing the afternoon shift with me."

"I can watch over him," Leo says. Then he turns to look at Chris, "if that's ok with you too."

"That's more than cool!" Chris exclaims while running towards me and jumping, waiting for me to catch him, "Can I, can I, can I? Please?!"

"I mean, sure," then I turn to Leo again. "Are you sure that's ok with you?"

"Yeah, it's ok. We can go to my place for the afternoon and I'll give me old car toys, I've got like a trillion of them. I can even pick up his friend again so that he doesn't feel awkward or somethin."

"Leo, are you sure you don't mind? I mean, not that I don't appreciate, because I do, but I'm sure-"

"Babe, it's fine," he says taking Chris from me gently and pecking me on the lips. "I'll watch them, besides my mom will love it. She loves kids and she's been complaining she has nothing to do for a while now...she'll be fine."

"But that way I'm just putting it all on your mom and I don't want that..."

"Matt, calm down. It's ok. Besides that'll give me an excuse to see you later again. Just go to work, take your car, and then go to my place to pick the kids up. Sound good?"

I sigh, considering the options, then nod reluctuntly. "Ok, fine. You can see if Mrs. Pemberton will let you take Oliver too, if not, I trust you either way."

And with that and a kiss and a bunch of Chris's toys, we each go our way.
