(Sorry it took so long I hope you like it!honestly I was stuck. I wanted it to be perfect and I wasn't sure what characters to pick for sure. Then it deleted and I had to start over THREE TIMES and then I got busy and now I'm apologizing cause I'm a jerk for making you wait this long!)

Now——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————onward to the story!!! ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— — – - - - - - - enjoy!

I ran as fast as I could, that mouth watering scent filling my every thought and driving my every motion. I had to find this person. There was no mistake. It was my mates scent.

I came to the edge of the woods and stepped out. I haven't been in many towns since they granted species to intermix. Werecats, werewolves, vampires, mermaids, fairies, nekos, the likes. I was much more solo than those who wanted desperately to mix in with the human race.

You see around 35 years ago all the supernatural species were falling in love with humans and soon humans and supernatural creatures alike were fighting to be treated as equals.

Eventually the law passed making it legal to intermix species and thus half Supers or half humans were born. I preferred to wait for my mate and now that I smell them there was no denying that I wanted that very being to my core.

I stepped into the town taking in its small beauty. it was near a boat ramp. A sailors paradise I suppose... it reeked of fish here. I was a werewolf. My name? Nicholas Reeves.

I crossed the street to the side walk, walking passed a small boy. WAIT!!!

I whirled around and stared after him.

He was gorgeous! Walking there in all of his perfectness. After all this time I had found the one. My destined to be. My lover. My mate.

It was as if fire filled my bones and my heart began to race. My skin burned with unseen flames as I yearned for him.

I wanted to hold him, to mark him as mine, to love him, shower him in everything he ever wanted. It sounds cheesy but it's true. Being a werewolf isn't all fun and games.

Times change and along with it the people. They begin to have different ideas, inventions are made, new worlds discovered. I watched it all happen for too many years.

Of course I've tried to have lovers but they never seem to work out...

I could feel the excitement filling me. This was so amazing! I had finally found the person that I would be spending their life span with.

Of course the sad reality is that they will die and I will live on past their deaths as I am a werewolf.

Never mind that sore subject though...

I shake my head and flick my eyes to the boy. He's young... around 17 I believe. Which means he has just reached the proper age for a mate. Perfect!!

I watch as his arms swung back and forth in his light step.

His thick black hair framed his face perfectly and that creamy white skin balanced it all out. He was stunning.

"Excuse me!" I call to the gorgeous boy. He stopped and looked around, confused. His beautiful green, wide, wondrous, eyes caught mine and he blushed a deep red. I smiled. He's absolutely delicious looking!

"I am Nicholas, you are my mate. I'm so glad to have finally met you! I've been waiting for so long!" His eyes widen and he looked around, a look of terror sprawling across his adorable face.

He took a step back. "Hey get away from me, you creep!" He shouted. I bent forward to match his height. "What's wrong? Aren't you mature enough to understand we are mates??" I questioned.

He quivered before me and I took a deep whiff of his scent. Oh no... OH NO! I've made a terrible mistake! I gulp, taking a step back and smiling nervously. "Oh, so you aren't mature enough... I see... so I've mistaken your age...." not only his age but his identity. He's a werewolf as well.

I look down at the boy, his body still frozen in shock and terror. "But all the same, you are mine." His eyes widen.

"L-leave me alone weirdo!!" He dashes off and I sigh, watching him run. Sooner or later he will be mine...

Although I guess the upfront method didn't quiet work...

Hmm...

Shoving my hands in my pockets I start walking on.

Werewolves don't usually become mate mature until about 18 years old. That boy was only 16. No wonder he freaked out on me like that.

The bigger question was, was he even aware of his supernatural being?

Surely he had to know he was a werewolf.

I suddenly caught that lovely delicate scent once more and I looked over, finding the boy peering out at me from behind a corner of a building.

I smirked at him. How cute, he's curious about me.

Noticing I had caught him his face turned a dark pink and he ducked behind the corner.

I chuckled.

Hm.. so he's shy as well.

I smirked more as a grand idea formed in my head. Well if he's too shy and scared to admit to being my mate then there's only one thing I can do.

I'll have to court him like a princess back in my grandfathers time.

Walking off I stop in at a flower shop, picking out a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Pink, yellow, and orange. This ought to do.

Paying for the bouquet I exited the shop and caught a familiar tuffet of black mossy hair sticking up from behind another building, this time it was closer.

Oh? So he's following me. I smirked some more and looked down at my outfit.

This won't do. Jeans and a carhart shirt? No. Not the type of attire needed for this situation.

I head on my way, entering a clothing store.

I search a couple of racks until I come across a dangerous scent. Flicking my eyes upward and toward the left I spy the boy from before yet again hiding from me. I chuckled lowly to myself.

Does he think he's being secretive?

Grabbing a nice white button up long sleeved shirt I find some dress pants and head into the changing rooms to make sure they fit.

I wonder if he'd follow me in here?

I laugh once more, shaking my head. He's too innocent.

Besides I was 23, plenty old enough to be more mature and much more experienced.

After changing I exit the stall and pay for the clothes, walking out I hold the flowers up and notice they needed water.

Smirking I paused, allowing the boy to catch up to me.

Once I smelled his scent I walked on.

Finding myself a nice little outside restaurant I asked the waiter to make reservations for two. Finally I turned around and called out to the boy. "It's rude to stalk people, and I'm the weirdo?" I mutter the last part to myself.

The boy shows himself, looking guilty at having been caught. I smiled at him. "Don't look so down. Did you get all your information on me that you wanted?" His cheeks flushed red at my comment.

He's not use to being teased..

Pulling the flowers from behind my back I bowed slightly, handing the bouquet to the boy.

His green eyes stared at the flowers in shock. I chuckled. "There for you." I explain.

"Uh!" His small gasp hadn't gone unnoticed by me. I watch his small mouth open and his eyes trailed up to mine.

"F-for me?" He asked, his voice soft and delicate.

I smiled more, liking what I saw.

"Of course, I'm talking only to you aren't I?" He blushed once more and reaches out, his smaller hand taking the bunched up stems of the flowers into his arms.

His face lit up with excitement. "N-no ones ever gotten me flowers before!" He exclaimed, looking up at me happily.

My confidence shattered. HE'S ADORABLE!!

Regaining myself I stepped to the side, placing my hand in the middle of his lower back thus pushing him forward slightly. "Please, let's eat. I've made us some reservations at the countess restaurant."

His eyes widened and he looked over at me, staring up at me with shock.

"You actually got reservations at the countess restaurant?!" He asked, surprised.

I nodded, guiding him forward. "The chef is an old friend...." I explained.

He allowed me to lead him to the table, pulling his chair out he sat down and I pushed him in.

Taking his flowers for him I set them in a vase in the middle of the table.

"Order anything you like." I say.

Suddenly he stands up. "Hey wait a minute!" I look up at him, waiting for him to continue. "Is this some kind of date?! I never agreed to go on a date with you!!" He exclaimed.

I frowned. "You don't like it?" I asked, hurt. He panicked. "Ah no! It's really nice and you look amazing it's just-" He stops once he's realized what he's said. Blushing he covers his mouth and sits back down again.

We had gathered an audience now.

The boy looks down at his lap, embarrassed and I shoot the surrounding people a few glares, making them look away.

"Just this once!" He explains. Huh? I look at him.

"What do you mean?" He blushes more. "I'll accept this date only this one time! B-but you're still a stranger! A-and I still think your a weirdo!" He stuttered out.

The waitress came over to us. "What will it be tonight?" She asked, smiling at us.

"Two house specials please. And a glass of wine."

She nodded, jotting the order down before picking up our menus and heading off.

The boy gave me a shy look, his green eyes seemingly so innocent.

"I'm Blaine." He mumbled. I take a gamble. "You're a werewolf right?"

He bits his lip, nodding his head.

"How old are you?" I ask. He fidgets with the hem of his shirt. "Sixteen..."

Just as I thought. "Blaine, do you know what a mate is?"

His eyes quickly find mine and he blushed slightly.

"W-well not really. I mean I know what it means but anything else..." he trails off, embarrassed.

So he knows that mates exist and that- "can you tell me about mates?" He asked, looking over at me. His green eyes locked on to mine.

This kid...

The waitress comes back, giving Blaine water and me a glass of wine.

After she leaves Blaine's eyes find mine once more as he silently asks for an answer.

Damn... looking away I sigh. "That's a discussion for your parents kid."

"Uh! But–!" He puts his hands on the table, standing up slightly however this sudden action of his causes his water to spill, soaking into his pants.

"Ngh!" He quickly sits down and looks around frantically at the people staring at us.

He's easily embarrassed.

"Come on, let's get you cleaned up." I say, extending my hand as I stood up.

He looked up at me, almost in tears.

He reached out and touched my hand, grasping it as he got out of his chair.

I lead him to the bathroom and grabbed some paper towels, handing them to him.

I watched as he helplessly rubbed at his pants. He was doing it all wrong.

Grabbing his hands I take the towels in my own hand and begin to work on his soaked pants.

He sniffles, letting his hands drop to his side. "I-I'm sorry!" He cried. I looked up at him. "And why are you sorry Blaine? Nothing wrong happened. You've done anything wrong Blaine." I state, concern lacing my voice.

He rubs at his eyes. "B-but I've ruined our date!" He exclaims. I give a faint smile. "No, you didn't. It's hardly any use crying over spilled milk– or I guess in this case spilled water." I gave him a smile, hoping this would cheer him up.

He gives a small smile back and leans down, hugging me. "I've never met anyone like you before." He whispers.

I pulled back and placed my finger under his chin, lifting his head and planting a small kiss on his forehead. "Let's get you home, shall we?"

Guilt plagued me. For what, even I wasn't sure. Maybe it was because he was so innocent and so frantic that I felt bad for dragging him on this date.

Or maybe it was because when I saw that tear eyes face of his I thought of sinful things.

Either way I felt bad and wanted to make sure this boy got home safely.

He may be young but he will always be my mate and I will always protect my mate.

He nodded and took my hand, lacing it with his. "Thank you." He mumbled, whipping his eyes a few more times.

I felt the urge to cuddle him, to nuzzle into that neck of his and make him feel better.

His tears brought me sorrow.

We walked out, after I paid the bill.

The night had grown on us and the sun was fading.

Blaine was walking close to me, his hand never letting go of mine. His shoulder seemed to bump into my arm every so often. He was short, given our age difference that was to be expected.

"Oh look, little gay boys got a boyfriend." Someone sneered. Blaine paused, seeming to know the voice. He turned around and I followed suit.

Blaine seemed to recognize the only other person on the sidewalk besides us.

The boy was probably a year older than Blaine and much more built. I took notice to Blaine's reaction as he seemed to Scott closer to me, as if he was trying to hide or protect himself.

This angered me.

Why was Blaine so scared of this guy? It's obvious he's just being pig headed and full of idiocy.

Speaking of which the older boy must not know when to shut the hell up because his mouth was still blabbering on.

"Can't wait until I tell everyone at school about Blaine's new boy toy."

"How about you shit that mouth of yours before I knock it off." I growl out. Blaine's eyes widen and he looks up at me, shocked.

The boy gave me a foul look. "Oh, so your boyfriends got balls enough to challenge me? Let's see where that threat you made takes us." He challenged.

I room a step forward, trying to size him up for a fight.

Blaine's weight on my arm stopped me.

"You aren't hardly worth the time. You'd be down in 10 seconds tops." I spat at him.

This angered the guy and he charged at me. Fearing for Blaine's safety I shoved him to the side and took the punch myself.

The guys fist landed right in my gut.

Not liking the position one bit I drew my own fist and flattened the guys face as he fell to the ground, crying out in pain and kicking his legs like a sissy.

I shook my fist out, glaring at the guy. "Don't bad mouth or threat Blaine again or else when I actually do become his boyfriend I won't hesitate to take you down." I sneer.

Looking over at Blaine I watch as his eyes flood with relief and he runs toward me, his arms wide open.

I greet him with a hug. "N-no ones ever stood up for me like that." He says.

I hug him tighter. "I'll always protect you Blaine." I whisper. He pulls away and blushed. I pull back as well. "Let's get you home now." I go to lead him away when he avoids my hand and crosses his arms, taking up an angry stance.

What's he-

"I don't wanna go home yet!" He pouts. Acting as if he was a 10 year old again.

I chuckle, shaking my head. This kid....

"Fine, then where to my princess?" I tease. He blushes and grabs my hand. "The ice cream shop!" He announces before pulling me along. I smile to myself, allowing him to drag me along after him.

This kid is really something else.

We get to the ice cream shop and order some ice cream.

Well actually just Blaine. I wasn't a huge fan of ice cream. I paid for it of course and Blaine took my hand once more, liking his ice cream as he swung our hands.

It reminded me of a teenaged romance movie.

His ice cream seems to melt quickly as it dribbled down his fingers and dropped off the cone.

His mouth looked sticky and he was caught up in worrying about getting himself dirty that he didn't notice the crack in the sidewalk.

Tripping of the raised edge of cement he flew forward, dropping his ice cream and skinning his knee.

I thought for sure he'd bust out crying but I was wrong. He sighed. "I always trip over that!" He pouts.

I pause for a moment. He's down that before?

I break into a laugh and I catch Blaine smiling. "What?" I ask, worried I had something in my face.  Blaine giggled. "It's just, your laugh." He blushed. "I like it." He finished.

This time I was the one to blush. Thank god Blaine wasn't looking my way or I'd really be in for it.

Regaining my composure I made sure to see if Blaine was okay. "Anyways, are you alright? You scraped your knee." I point down to his red scrapped up knee.

Blaine shrugged. "Im used to it, although..." he blushed. "It was a little embarrassing to trip in front of you..." he admits. I smirk. Cute.

At last we arrive at our destination, Blaine's house.

His hand pulled on mine as he fidgeted  in front of me. "Good night Blaine." I lean down and kiss his cheek. "Sorry for such a disastrous date." I note as I pull away.

Blaine then looks up at me, his fixated stare on the sidewalk no broken.

"N-no I really liked it..." he blushes. "A-and is like to go on another. I mean if you want to!"

I chuckled, tousling his hair. "See late then Blaine." I go to pull away when his grip on my hand tightens. This action catches me off guard and I look down at Blaine, about to ask what it was that made him do this but I was met with smooth lips pressing against mine.

The kiss wasn't much. No movement at all. He was definitely inexperienced which made me glad. I could teach him about kissing, and many more things.

I smiled against his lips and he pulled away. "I'll see you tomorrow. Pick me up at 5!" And with that he dashed off into his house.

I touched my lips, smirking.

This boy... I shake my head and walk off.

Such innocent love in those eyes of his. How I'll spoil him when he's finally mine. How I'll soil his innocence when he's finally mine.

Blaine will be mine and mine alone.

"See you tomorrow at 5..." I repeat, smirking.
