Hey peeps! I really hope you are enjoying the story so far! :) I'm enjoying writing it. Be patient with me I have big plans for this story.
------------------------------
They say time is of the essence so you shouldn't waste it. Well I call bullshit. Days came and went while I spent my time alone cooped up in this room. I couldn't tell you how long I had been up here. Since Vincent left my room I haven't see anyone. Someone would come and drop off a tray of food three times a day but I was always asleep when they came. I only took a few bites of food and a few sips of water, at first I refused to eat anything but then it was starting to make me sick. So I forced myself to at least eat and drink a little something.

All the crying I did had taken an emotional toll on my body. I felt weaker than I ever have before. There were no mirrors in the built in bathroom that was inside my room. Just a toilet and a shower, nothing fancy. No one brought me any clean clothes so I've been wearing the same clothes since I had gotten here. The bruises have healed and so did my lip. I stood up and walked around the room stretching my body in the process.

The beeping of the keypad stopped me in my tracks and I turned around so I was facing the door. Adriano walked into my room and he had a small smile on his face.

"Come on. Let's get you out of here." He said and he waved me over to him and started waking out of the room. I quickly followed him. I was just thankful to get out of that awful room even if I had no idea where we were going.

"Where are we going?" My voice came out hoarse from not talking and my throat was dry from barely drinking.

"We have a new room for you." He muttered and instantly my hopes of getting out of here vanished as quickly as they came. I wasn't getting out of here I was just getting moved from one cell to another.

We walked down three flights of stairs and down a long hallway before we stopped and he opened a another bedroom door. I was thinking it would be just like the one upstairs but I was wrong. It was so much nicer. It was an actual bedroom. There was a king size bed, a dresser with a mirror, a huge flat screen tv, and an incredible built in bathroom.

"Wow I'll be staying in here?" I asked in a whisper almost afraid that if I said it loud enough they would change their minds.

"Yep. Vincent just had everything set up for you. He had the closet and dresser stocked with brand new clothes in your size. There's everything from undergarments to pajamas and everything else you can think of." He spoke with a bright smile and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad excited to shower and change clothes.

"Wow that's amazing! Thank you." I offered him a small smile in return. I was confused as to why I went from being treated like a prisoner to having a huge fully loaded room but I wasn't going to question it.

"In the bathroom there is shampoo and conditioner and razors and whatever else it is that you girls use." Sure this place was not my home but it was a hell of a lot better than the room upstairs. There was no keypad so I wouldn't be locked in here. There was a window and even a mirror on my dresser. You really take things for granted and when you are in a situation like I was in you really see that it's the littlest things that you miss the most.

"I'm going to let you freshen up we eat breakfast at 7:30 and dinner at 6:00 sharp. Vincent wants you to attend the meals with the rest of us. See you later Annabelle." Adriano explained as he walked out of the room.

"Thank you Adriano." I thanked him as he closed the door to my room. I quickly padded across the room and entered the bathroom. I flipped on the light and stopped when I saw my reflection in the mirror. My hair was matted and looked like it was in a birds nest. My normal bluish grey eyes were a dull grey. My pale skin was even more pale than usual. I had dark circles under my eyes from crying and exhaustion. I looked about 10-15 pounds lighter which made me look sick. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and turned on the shower to as hot as it would go. I grabbed a razor from the counter and stripped down and stepped into the shower. The hot water cascaded down my body turning my skin a bright red. I washed my hair with coconut shampoo and conditioner, shaved everywhere and then scrubbed my body with a loofa and strawberry body wash twice before I stepped out of the shower turning off the water as I got out.

Steam flooded the bathroom making it hard to see where everything was. I found a towel in the bathroom closet and quickly wrapped myself in it before I walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. Once I was into the room I locked the door. I was surprised the door even had a lock on it in the first place not that I was complaining.

I started to dig through the drawers looking for some panties and a bra. The first drawer I opened had everything from Victoria's Secret that a girl could ever ask for. I picked up a pair of leopard silky boy shorts and decided that I would wear those and then I picked up a plain black bra to wear with the underwear. I slipped into the undergarments satisfied with the way they fit. I then started to look for a pair of shorts and a shirt to wear. I settled for a pair of black jean shorts and a three quarter length baseball shirt. Once I was dressed I brushed my hair and applied some mascara and eyeliner.

Vincent may have been the biggest asshole I had ever met but he sure did make sure that whoever bought all this stuff covered everything from clothes, underwear, makeup, shoes, and shower stuff. For that I was so thankful. For the first time in days I finally felt like a person. I opened the closet and found a pair of black gladiator sandals and slipped into them.

I walked over to the window and the view from my room was a breathtaking forest. The trees were tall and full of bright green leaves. Birds flew around chattering away. There were bushes with beautiful flowers blooming. I'm a sucker for nature and the outdoors. Seeing outside I couldn't help but think of my parents. Were they trying to find me? Did they miss me? What are they going to do when or if they ever do find me? My head started to race with different scenarios and neither of them ended good for anyone. I wanted to at least call them but Matteo took my phone whenever he brought me here.

I decided it would be a good idea to find Vincent and thank him for everything he bought for me. I opened the door to my room and stepped out into the hallway looking and trying to figure out which way to go. I felt like I was in a maze and like I was walking in circles I finally found the living room and kitchen that I seen on my first day here. There were a few girls sitting in the living room watching tv. They looked nice enough so I walked into the room and sat down on one of the empty couches. They all turned to stare at me each of them giving me weird looks. I'm sure I would have done the same thing if a girl I didn't know came into my house and sat down with me without saying any thing.

"Hi I'm Annabelle." I introduced myself.
