Hello beautiful people!!! I really hope you are enjoying the story! I kind of hit a wall with this chapter just bare with me because I have big plans for this book! Love you guys! Y'all are awesome :)
-----------------------------

The next day I was a complete wreck. From the minute I woke up my nerves were all over the place. I asked the girls to workout with me this morning to knock the edge off but it didn't work if anything it only intensified my nerves.

"So where is he taking you?" Rachel asked me while she started jogging on the treadmill.

"I have no idea. He just asked me on a date and I said yes!" I let out a breathy chuckle while I kickboxed.

"I mean I knew you two liked each other, anyone with eyes and common sense could see it from a mile away but I never thought he would ever do anything about it." Bethany explained and I half shrugged and nodded.

"Yeah neither did I these nerves are killing me! I have no idea what you wear! What if I say something stupid? What if this is a big nightmare? Oh shit!" I started to panic. I've never even been on an actual date before. I had no clue what I was getting myself into.

"Calm down you mental patient we will help you get ready! No need for a panic attack." Bethany teased and I stuck my tongue out at her playfully. Leave it to her to tease me when I'm on the brink of a meltdown.

"Ha-ha-ha, that's not even funny." I mocked her sarcastically and she flipped me off.

"Enough you two. Now Belle lets go get you ready!" Rachel clapped her hands together. It was early still like noon. We weren't even leaving until seven.

"It's only noon! I have at least a few more hours before I have to get ready." I shrugged and punched the punching bag a few more times. All three of the girls looked at me like I had grown two heads.

"What-?" I asked weirdly. Did I miss something? What in the world is wrong with these girls?

"No mam! You need to get your ass up and march that ass of yours to your room. We need to get busy! Up and at em!" Sarah practically pushed me out of the gym and towards my room and into my bathroom.

"Now shower! Scrub, wash, and shave everything!" Rachel demanded I quickly jumped into the shower.

"Everything? What in the hell do you think is going to happen? It's our first date for Petes sake!" I yelled over the sound of my shower running.

"You don't know how these men are. I'm not saying anything will happen I'm just saying you have to be prepared." Sarah explained and my nerves started to go hay wire. Yes I liked Vincent probably way more than I should considering the fact that he's a criminal but was I willing to go all the way with him? To actually have sex with him? I had no idea what in the hell to actually do. I've only ever kissed him. Being a virgin at twenty three and going on a date with the playboy Mafia king surely was ironic.

I washed my hair, shaved everywhere, and scrubed everywhere twice before I got out wrapping myself in a big fluffy towel as I turned off the water.

"Come on." Sarah dragged me into my room and pushed me backwards onto my bed. I had to grab my towel in order to stop the towel from falling and showing my goodies.

"Hey easy woman!" I gasped loudly and she just shrugged. Bethany was first to start plucking my eyebrows. Once she was done Sarah painted my nails and toenails a pretty pink color and while they were drying Rachel did my makeup. After about three hours they were finally done getting me ready. Bethany came in front of me with a beautiful black dress.

"Here wear this, I think it will look perfect on you!" She squealed and I was kind of speechless by the dresses beauty.

"Are you sure? I can't wear your stuff Beth." I was kind of skeptical about borrowing people's stuff. I almost always ruin other peoples things somehow.

"Oh this isn't mine."

"Then where did it come from?" I asked her and she gave me a wicked smile.

"Vincent bought it for you silly." I didn't peg him as the kind of guy who goes into stores and buys his own clothes much less anyone else's. He probably had Vanessa go get it or something.

"He has good taste." I took the dress from her hands and slipped into it. I wore a red lace bra and panty set. Once the dress was all the way on Bethany zipped it for me and then they finally let me look in a mirror and my reflection left me speechless.

"Wow I don't even look like the same person!" Rachel did my eyeshadow a natural medium brown and lined the top and bottom of my eyes with a thin line of eyeliner to make my eyes pop. She also applied a few layers of mascara to my top and bottom lashes making them look noticeably longer than usual. Sarah blow dried and curled my hair into long loose waves. She hair sprayed it really good to make sure the curls don't move or the rest of my hair for that matter. Bethany sprayed me with some name brand perfume. I picked out some simple black heels to compliment my dress.

"Wow you do look hot!" Bethany squealed and clapped her hands.

"You really do. Now let's get going you're going to be late!" Sarah started to push me again. For her being quiet she sure is a strong bossy little thing.

"Okay okay! No need to push me missy. I can walk on my own with no help from you." I giggled and started to walk down the hallway towards the living room. I could hear the tv on which meant the guys were more than likely watching some stupid football game.

I walked into the living room and everybody stopped and stared at me which made me want to freaking pass out. The guys all had wide eyes some even whistled cat calls at me. Vincent stood up and walked over to me ignoring the guys around us.

"You look lovely." He whispered in my ear as he kissed me on the cheek. My cheeks felt hot from blushing too hard.

"You look handsome as always."

"Let's get going or we will be late." Vincent spoke and wrapped his arm around me leading me outside to where a black Tahoe was parked. Outside of the car was Vincent's driver Rubio. I've never actually talked to him but he seems nice enough. He is about 5'11 and unlike the other guys he is not muscular he has a beer belly and he reminds me of a father figure. He has a light in his eyes and he always seems happy. I felt safe and comfortable around him and I didn't even know him.

"Good evening sir, you look beautiful Annabelle." Rubio nodded his head and opened the back door. I climbed in carefully to make sure my dress wouldn't ride up and give Vincent a preview of what was under my dress. Once we were all buckled in Rubio started to drive. At first no one said anything so it made the atmosphere a little awkward. I didn't know if Vincent was just as nervous as me or if he didn't have anything to say. He must have sense my nervousness because he grabbed my hand in his and started rubbing small circles on the top of my hand.

"So where are we going?" I asked him and he shook his head playfully.

"Nice try but it's a surprise don't try to guess either." He teased and I stuck my tongue out at him. I honestly had no idea where we were going I was just happy to be with him alone. We could go to McDonalds and I'd be perfectly okay with that.

The rest of the car ride was quiet but comfortable. Rubio drummed him fingers on the steering wheel to the jazz music that was playing on the radio. Vincent hummed along to a few of the songs and I just sat nervous in my seat.

When the car finally came to a stop Rubio got out of the car and rushed over to let us out of the backseat. Vincent got out first and adjusted his jacket before he stuck his hand out and helped me out of the car.

"Thank you Rubio we will be out in about an hour or so." Vincent nodded once as a sign of conformation.

"Okay sir I'll be right here. Enjoy!" Rubio walked back around to the car and pulled it into the parking lot on the side.

I started to look around and we were at an extremely fancy restaurant, Italian of course. It looked like an over priced Olive Garden but way nicer.

Vincent opened the door for me and led me inside. The hostess's literally perked up when they saw him. They pulled their shirts down to show off their cleavage and even winked at him as soon as we got to the hostess stand.

"Good evening sir welcome." The main hostess stuck her chest out as she spoke to Vincent. I wanted to gag about how much of a whore this chick was acting like but I held it back.

"I have reservations under Colombo." Vincent had no interest in the three girls who were practically throwing themselves at him which made me even more grateful.

"Of course right this way handsome." The overly eager hostess led us to our table. We sat down and she handed us our menus.

"What can I start you off to drink with?" She batted her long fake eyelashes and Vincent and he didn't even look up at her.

"Bring us your oldest most expensive bottle of wine." Vincent made a motion with his hand to dismiss her and she scurried off to fetch our wine.

"Okay sir not a problem." She rushed off leaving me and Vincent completely alone for the first time tonight.

We looked over our menus until we decided what we wanted to eat. The whore hostess came back and poured our glasses of wine and left us again. Finally our waiter came and took our orders I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and Vincent ordered marinara meatball lasagna. While we waited for our food we snacked on salad and breadsticks.

"So how do you like running the Mafia?" I asked genuinely curious. I wanted to know more about him and what better way to start than to ask questions.

"It's not an easy thing to do. You have to be in a million places at once but I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's been handed down for generations and will continue to do so when and if I have children."

"You're going to pass this down to your children?" I asked almost in disbelief. Why would you want to pass this down? To draw out your kids life before they even exist.

"Of course I am. It's not just about the Mafia Annabelle, this is my families legacy. It will not end with me that I am 100% sure of." I quickly changed the topic to a subject much lighter and less serious.

"So it's only you and Vanessa? No other brothers or sisters?"

"It's just the two of us. How about you? Any siblings?" He asked me and I shook my head.

"Nope it's just me." I took a small sip of my wine and almost moaned at the taste. It was like a sweet crisp sultry taste.

"Didn't you get lonely?"

"No I had Natalie. We've been joined at the hip since we were four so she's all I remember I don't remember being alone." I shrugged my shoulders truthfully.

"So tell me about your ex boyfriend?" Vincent asked but almost in a jealous tone maybe I couldn't quiet put my finger on it.

"I've never had a boyfriend." I blushed and turned my face away away from his questioning stare.

"Never? Not even one?" He sounded shocked like he didn't believe me.

"Nope not even one." It's true. I've never had a boyfriend there was this one guy Nathan from senior year he would always ask me out but I was never interested in him so I never agreed to a date.

"Hmm that's abnormal for a twenty three year old. So you've never kissed anyone? Slept with anyone? Nothing?" I suddenly felt bad about never doing those things but growing up I always wanted to wait until the time was right. Call me lame but that's just how I was.

"No I haven't. You're the first person I've ever kissed I've never had sex with anyone. Is that what you want to hear?" My tone was snappy because I felt like he was judging me and after I snapped at him he finally saw where I was coming from.

"No it's not a bad thing. Annabelle you're pure and innocent I can't offer you the life you want, I've told you this several times. The fact that you've never been with anyone draws me to you even more. I can't stay away from you even if I wanted too." His green eyes poured into mine burning me to my very core.

"Then don't." I whispered breathlessly.

Our waiter brought us our food and left us to eat. We ate for a while in a comfort silence.

"Wow this is absolutely incredible." I moaned in between bites. It was by far the best Italian food I had ever tasted. I couldn't get enough I just kept shoveling more and more into my mouth until I felt like I was going to explode.

"I've loved this place for as long as I can remember. I don't really come here that much anymore. I used to when I was a kid but ever since I took over the business for my dad I don't really have much time for personal outings."

"Well that's a shame because if I had it my way I would eat here at least once a week."

"Maybe we can make that a tradition." He winked at me and I blushed.

After we ate Vincent paid the bill and we left the restaurant.

"Thank you again for dinner."

"You're welcome Annabelle, but the night is not over yet." He grabbed my hand interlacing our fingers. I felt like a school girl who just got her first kiss. I was on cloud nine and over the moon.

I didn't ask where we were going I just laid my head on his shoulder and hummed along with the radio.

The rest of the date we spent walking on the beach right outside of New York City. The sun had started to set and we just walked up and down the beach hand in hand having light conversation.

Vincent stopped walking and turned me around to face him and grabbed both of my hands. We stared at each other searching each other's souls through our eyes.

"Goddammit you're so beautiful Anna." He whispered breathlessly.

"Thank you." I blushed but still smiled ear to ear. It felt weird to be complimented by a man especially one like Vincent. My heart was in overdrive and butterflies fluttered in my stomach.

"I may not be the best man Anna but if you let me I promise to give you the best that I can."

"Okay." I was speechless and for me that is saying something. I always have something to say. He could get me to do anything without even asking. If you would have told me two months ago that I would be in the place I am now I would have laughed in your face but looking at it now I couldn't be happier to be exactly where I was at.
