~Tiasha's POV~

I looked around to find Sneha, Priya and Rudra looking confused and immediately headed towards me while I was not being able to understand what was happening.

"Tia you ok?" Priya asked being entirely horrified while I just nodded, assuring her that I was completely okay.

"What the hell?? Excuse me . How can you just stop your car lik---" I stopped in between when the door of the car opened.

I was left in a shock to find a tall man, dressed in a black suit stepping down the car and with eyes widened a bit looked at the person.

Neil

"Mr. Neil Khurrana" my trance broke when I heard Rudra speaking along with the girls in unison.

Taking off his glasses, he headed towards us or to be precised me while I was too stunned to speak anything.

"Tia....Tia.... TIA!!!" Sneha screamed, lightly shaking me up as I looked at her and then at Neil who was standing right infront of me with creased eyebrows.

"Wh--what are you doing here?" I someone managed to ask him  as I was entirely confused then.

As we were standing just in front of our college gate and it was time for our leave, many students who were passing by the gate glanced at us while leaving while some of them, especially the girls just stopped right there, busy ogling at him.

Was he any prince or celebrity that all are staring at him?

Ugh! Anyways why am I even bothered?

"Me? Well good question. I came here to----" his voice brought me back to the world as I remembered that I asked him something.

But before he could complete his sentence and I could say a word, Sneha, Priya and Rudra bade a goodbye to us and immediately left the place, leaving us alone.

Though we were surrounded by the entire college it seemed

He looked at the surroundings with his same facial expression when I found people slowly exiting the place and went out. Then he cleared his throat as I again looked at him and he gently ruffled his hair.

"Get inside the car" he said nonchalantly

"What?" I aksed, shocked.

"What's so shocking in that? Please don't create a scene. You are reacting in such a way as if I said something shocking. See still people are there" my eyes scanned the surroundings again when I found few students who were still in the building were leaving the college and as they passed by us, left the place not before glancing at us.

"Anyways just get in. We are getting late"

"Wait! Late for what? Moreover, I am not interested to go any where with you"

"Why do you talk so much? I just said get inside the car so get in"

"Why will I?? I don't want to go anywhere with you. Moreover, why are you here in my college?"

"You are so irritating. Why can't you listen anything for the first time?"

"What I am irritating and what are you then? Listen Neil I don't have time to again get into an argument with you. You very well know I am goin---

"---We are going to meet your brother" he stressed on the word

"Sorry what?"

"Again 'what' " he sighed and continued, "What is this 'what's thing you constantly keep chanting? Tiasha I don't have ample enough of time to waste so better get inside the car"

"No I just meant that you I--you-I--- "

"Now again I I ?? Listen I guess I was audible enough and you heard it right." he said

Then he turned around and  while ruffling his hair, he strolled towards his car while I just kept standing there.

"Need a special invitation? Shall I ask my P.A to make an invitation card for you?"

"I don't need anything"

"Then why are you still standing there? Come and sit inside the car. I have many other important work to do other than this"

"Then do so. I don't want anyone unwilling to go and meet my family members"

"Tiasha don't test my patience. For the last time, I am asking you. Will you come?"

"NO" I replied firmly and turned my face to the other side.

After a few seconds or so I felt a hand tightly gripping my wrist. On turning to the other side I found Neil holding my wrist and we both headed towards the car as he opened the door of the passenger seat

What the hell?

"Have you gone mad? What is this?" I asked being completely annoyed.

No reply?

"Oh hello. I am asking you. Neil. Neil I am asking you. Answer me" I repeated as I saw him sitting on the driving seat.

"Mrs. Tiasha Neil Khurrana please please for god's sake give your mouth some rest for sometime" he said looking at me while I just got lost somewhere for few minutes.

Though it sounded very strange to me yet when he said that I was left numb.

"And what would I have told? You gave me a chance to speak?" He said putting on his seatbelt as I came back to reality.

"But why didn't you tell me in the morning then. I mean I know last night it was an incomplete conversation. You know he was so eager to meet you"

"In the morning I left for office quite early along with dad so didn't get time. But now also when I thought that while traveling to your house I will tell, you created a fuss out of the situation"

"Well it was you who suddenly asked me to get into your car and obviously my reaction and question was obvious. I did not create any fuss out of it. My reaction was obvious"

"But I wouldn't  have ate you if you would have come with me"

"And why would I come with you?"

"Because you are my---" He stopped in between and then continued, "Wear your seatbelt"

"You were saying something Neil"

"Wear the seatbelt"

"No before that"

"Nothing. You better wear the seatbelt and inform your brother if you want" he said, diverting the topic.

"Yeah I will" I replied putting on the seatbelt.

Then he started the car and soon drove off the campus.

He was driving while I looked outside through the window with my mind stuck with what happened few minutes ago.

As thoughts clustered my mind, I turned my face and looked at him, whose eyes were fixed on the road.

I know Neil. This marriage is something which you can neither accept nor deny. Don't worry, I won't break my promise.
But why is his incomplete answer making me so restless?? It just slipped out of his mouth. Maybe he was going to say something else. I know that. Still why am I feeling so strange emotions?

What is happening to me??

I immediately shrugged the thought off  my mind and opened my purse, took out my phone and dialed my brother's number.

After the fourth ring, he picked up the call when I gave him the information about our whereabouts and on hearing that I could literally imagine the smile on his face as his voice reflected happiness.

Automatically a smile crept on my face too and after bidding a goodbye  disconnected the call.

"I informed him. By the way, will reach there by another 10-15 minutes right?" I asked keeping the phone back inside the purse.

"Yeah" he replied

"Okay. Actually bhaiyya is really very happy so even he called and asked in the morning also. But---"

"But??"

"Nothing"

"Tiasha I don't like incomplete sentences. What were you saying?"

"Says the one who still didn't answer what he was saying." my voice was low yet loud enough for him to hear and I saw his facial expression changed, still maintaining his gaze on the road while I continued, "Anyways it's ok. Actually in the morning I thought that you won't come so when he called I really felt bad to let him know that I would go alone. See whatever we are doing is for our families, their happiness. So I am happy that he is happy."

"Ohh. Maybe because of that he called me. But when he did so he didn't say anything about your conversation with him. Just asked whether I will be there or not"

"Bhaiyya called you?"

"Yeah. He is indeed very happy and mom and bua as well. Since morning, she had been repeating the same thing only. I must say you are lucky to have him as your brother. I met him that's why"

"I know right. Afterall, I also don't have anyone except him. So we both are each others world" I said with a smile plastering my lips as my eyes turned moist

Then after composing myself I looked out of the widow. While I was busy having a look at the surroundings out of the window, a silence prevailed inside the car which broke when Neil spoke up.

"I met many people by the way" I was confused at his sudden sentence

" Sorry? I didn't understand" I said curious enough to know the answer

"No was just telling. Anyways, how do you know Mr. Chopra?" He asked looking at me and within less than a fraction of second turned his eyes back on the road.

"Mr.Chopra?-----" my brained processed his question as I continued, "Oh you mean Mr. Rudra Chopra? I mean Rudra right? Well he is in my class only. Why are you asking about him all of a sudden??" I asked back.

"No. Actually we met before in a business meet and today I saw him in the college with your friends so just asking. I didn't know that he was in the college as in on our marriage also I only met with the other two friends who were there with you and your brother said it was your friend circle"

"Sneha and Priya"

"Ok"

"Yeah actually he was not here at that time and not to forget the way we got married. Sneha and Priya got to know so they attended the wedding. I am sure if Rudra would have been here, he surely would have come. Afterall, he's one of my close friends and an amazing and lovely person too. "

"Much close it seems" he said nonchalantly while I felt something weird in his voice when he spoke.

Strange

"Anyways, here we have arrived" he said, applying the breaks and with a sudden jerk the car came to a halt.

Ok, I'm still alive

Giving him a look, I removed the seatbelt and got down the car and with a smile on my lips, I walked towards the entrance as Neil followed me.

"Well do you have anyone in the house?" he asked

"Why? What happened?" I asked looking at him when I found him carrying piles of boxes with him.

"Nothing much. These sweet boxes. I couldn't carry so much stuff along with me" He said forwarding two stacks of packed sweets as I collected more than that and looked at him, shocked.

"You bought the entire shop or what?"

"Correction....mom did. According to her, it is the first time we are visiting your house as a 'happily married couple' ", he said trying to quote it using his hand but couldn't as he carried the sweet boxes and continued, "So you know, I just can't come here empty handed and all. Anyways, if anyone is there do ask the person to take other items from the car"

Before I could give him a reply, he just turned his face and started walking towards the entrance, as I followed him.

After passing through the the yard, I stood right in front of the doors and was about to ring the bell when the door suddenly opened and before I could say anything, two tiny arms tightly wrapped my waist and automatically a bright smile crept on my face.

"Mimiiiiii" Ridhhima screamed in joy dragging the last letter as long as she could.

My smile widened on hearing her voice but as both the hands of mine was carrying the sweet boxes I couldn't take her in my arms.

Then my aunt called our helping hand of the house and asked to take all the boxes inside as we handed him the boxes.

"Ridhhi. What a pleasant surprise. Aww my sweetheart" I bent down and kissed her cheeks as she hugged me back, wrapping her hands around my neck.

Riddhima is my elder sister, Ruhanika di  (maternal uncle and aunt's daughter) and Aarav jiju's, 6years old daughter.

I am her maasi(maternal aunt) but with love, she addresses me as Mimi.

"How are you mimi? You know I missed you so much" her eyes sparkled in happiness.

"I missed you too Riddhi and I am good. How are you?"

"I am super amazing mimi"

"That's so great my dear"

"Ok ok now stop you two. Planning to have all your conversations here only or will come inside also? Tia, see Neil is also standing there" maami said as I looked at him who was looking at us.

The moment I turned my face and looked at him, he moved his gaze to the other side and before I could say anything and ask him to come inside, Riddhi held his hands and looked at him with a bright smile plastering her lips.

"Hello Mimo" she said and his lips curved into a smile while we looked at her, confused.

"Mimo? What's that?" I asked her, chuckling.

Riddhima since her childhood only, with much love used to call everyone with nicknames given by her. Even when she called mimi instead of maasi, I felt more happy as that name seemed so sweet and adorable when she first called me.

"Uffo!!!" she lightly slapped her forehead and continued, "If you are my mimi then he will be my mimo only"

"But Riddhima, he is your----"

"It's ok. Please let it be. She really gave me a sweet name. Don't scold her" Neil said, picking her up when the latter placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Hello Riddhima" he replied back.

His face had a smile and a different kind of emotion at that moment and seeing him like that, I kept looking at him and automatically my lips curved into a smile.

"Hello mimo. So you really think it's a sweet name?"

"Of course I do. After such a sweet girl called me so. I loved it little princess" her face lit up with happiness as Neil spoke.

"You know mimo you are very good. I heard a lot about you from maamu"

"Ok Riddhi now let your mimo come inside now. Please come Neil. Please" Ruhi di said as Riddhi got down from his arms and rushed inside.

"Riddhi don't run. You might fall" Ruhi di followed her while maami, after giving us a smile, asked us to come inside and turned around to leave the place.

"Stop staring at me like that or your eyes will fall off the socket or maybe you will only fall that too in love with me" he smirked

"What? I was not staring. Also I will not obviously fall in love with you" I replied with a not-so-sweet-smile.

"Who cares?" he rolled his eyes

"Whatever. Now if you are with your talks then please let's go inside" I said to which he nodded and both went inside the house.

As soon as I went inside, Ruhi di gave me a bone crushing hug and mama and maami also blessed us and I was about to ask about my brother when I heard the footsteps.

On hearing that, I turned towards the staircase, as I saw Tarun bhaiyya descending down the stairs, with a smile plastering his lips.

Now my happiness knows no boundaries.

"Bhaiyya" I screamed in excitement and ran towards him as he pulled me in his embrace.

"Tia. I missed you so much sister. It's been only two days since you got married and it seems like years"

"Even I missed you bhaiyya. By the way, how are you?" I asked looking at him.

Though his face gave an answer to my question but he gave me a bright smile, probably masking up his condition.

"Tia why do you worry for me so much? I am perfectly fine. Absolutely amazing"

"Yeah bhaiyya I know that very well" I said in a sarcastic tone.

"Haha ok fine now don't get angry"

Then breaking the hug, he gave me a smile and went towards Neil greeted him with a smile while the latter also gave him a smile.

"I am really very happy that you came here."

"That's fine. Afterall, you are her brother and like Karan bhaiyya, you are like my elder brother too. Anyways, how are you?"

"I am good. Now met my sweet little sister, so I am best. You know she didn't tell me in the morning when I asked her. Her habit of giving surprises. Though I got to know my calling you" bhaiyya said, laughing while I and Neil exchanged glances.

Indeed I, myself was surprised

"Btw come and have a seat" he asked Neil as both went and sat on the sofa, in the living area.

Then both were busy talking among themselves and Riddhi was too with them while Ruhi di and maami excused themselves and went to the kitchen as I followed them.

"Ruhi di"

"Yeah Tia"

"Di where's Aarav bhai?" I asked on not finding him anywhere near us.

"Well he, see might be upstairs only. Will come down soon"

"Oh okay"

Then mami and Ruhi di were arranging all the snacks and all while I helped them and was asked to get some stuffs from the refrigerator when I moved towards the other side.

After taking out the required food items, I closed the door when my eyes fell on the door and then at the living area where I found bhaiyya and Neil still busy conversing  among themselves with a bright smile plastering their lips. Though only bhaiyya kept on speaking.

Only if Neil could greet me in the same way. But No. Being grumpy always.

"Ahem ahem" someone faked a cough as I turned around and find Ruhi di and maami looking at me, trying their level best to suppress the laughter.

"Oh di. Take here's the----"

"---Thank you Tia. By the way, nowadays you are quite lost it seems" di teased me as maami took one tray and left the place, not before giving me a teasing smile.

"Lost?? I was not lost anywhere. I was just seeing bhaiyya. He is so happy today right"

"Indeed Tarun bhaiyya is extremely happy today. But dear sister, today you were lost in someone else's smile. I am not an idiot here."

"Di please. It's not what you think. Moreover you all know right I just married for my brother's sake. Only he wished so I agreed"

"I know everything very well. But Tia, whatever you are feeling now I also felt the same when I was married to Aarav. Though ours was a love marriage but after marriage, no matter for how many years you know the person, you will something very special and it seems to be falling in love with the same person again." Ruhi's face brightened up with a smile as she reminisced her wedding days and continued, "Anyways, if you say so then that's fine. One day I will also see how you deny the fact. Now let's go or these food will get cold and there we will miss all the talks" she winked at me and left the place while I carried the other tray and followed her.

And that day will never come as after a year I will be back to you all

"But still a year is there.... anything can happen and everything may not remain the same" my mind replied while I just shrugged off all the thoughts and took a deep breath and with a smile plastering the lips headed towards the living area.

"Ok I think someone still didn't notice me" I heard a voice as I placed the tray on the table.

"Aarav jiju" I turned around as my smile widened.

"Tia" He said and gave me a hug while Riddhima, on seeing her dad came running towards us.

"Papa"

"Awww my princess"

"Papa you know today I made a new friend.....see there, mimo" Riddhima said, looking at Neil while Aarav bhai went and greeted him.

"Hi, Aarav here. Nice to meet you" he said forwarding a hand for handshake
