Neil's POV

I woke up in the morning, slowly opening my eyes as the sun rays entered the room.

Slowly rubbing my eyes and stretching my hands backwards, I got rid of the sleep and slowly turned my face to the other side when I looked at Tiasha who was lost in her deep slumber.

Indeed yesterday night was a tough one for her and because of the stress I also remember her feeling nauseous last night as this room didn't have a side lamp and she was scared of darkness when I brought an emergency light and plugged it with the extention cord, switching it on.

Seeing her a sweet smile automatically crept my lips as when I remembered the date as my mind recalled something.

"You never know Neil what's stored in future. Yet I know for sure that you would definitely find the person, the one and only one who is your perfect match and I know the fear which you have, you will not have that ever. You will find your love" my mind recalled Her words as I kept looking at Tiasha.

Okay Neil stop thinking so much

Why do even I am remembering these words???

What's happening to me???

Shrugging off my thoughts, I looked at Tiasha and slowly walked towards her yet without disturbing her sleep, switched off the light and caressed her forehead and  went towards the door and slowly opening it, walked out of the room.

Travelling through the living area, I went and stepped inside the balcony when the cool morning breezes that blew across the place gave me a sweet welcome.

I slowly looked up at the sky, looking at the sky as a sweet smile plastered my lips while tears were gradually blurring my vision.

11th December

"Happy Birthday Priyadarshini" I looked up at the sky which was covered with blue with white clouds floating in it while the Sun was shining brightly.

"See, I still remember your birthday sweetie. Thank you so much for being there for me. Yet you left me. Not fair friend. I promise you, I promise you that I will not spare anyone who took you away from me. Also, see today is Priya and Darshini's birthday too. The two little sweetheart of yours. Your first family for your NGO. I miss you dear. I still so miss you so much. Stay happy there and always keep smiling and be the same. I know you heard my wish, darling" a lone tear escaped my eyes as it rolled down my cheeks and landing on the back of my palm.

Wiping my tears, I kept looking at the sky when I felt a hand on my shoulders as I immediately came back to reality and turned around to find Diya standing infront of me.

"Bhai" she gave a smile as I smiled back.

"Good morning Diya" I wished.

"Good morning bhai. Btw here take the prasad. Actually, I performed aarti---also sorry, without your permission" she pouted as I caressed her hair.

"Oh come on. You call me bhai and saying sorry??? Not fair Diya. You know you are like Naina to me and I have really considered you as my sister" I replied back as she forwarded me a sweet, smiling as I took it.

Then praying to God and touching it on my forehead, I placed the sweet inside my mouth when I relished the taste and looked at her, surprised.

"Gud sandesh???" I asked to confirm as before she could reply, Rudra spoke up.

"Ohhh right Neil. That's gud sandesh. You know she makes this so tasty. I so love her for this" Rudra grinned looking at Diya as I saw her cheeks gaining a red hue gradually.

Why am I talking like Tiasha???

"Well thanks but still mumma and di used to make the best gud sandesh. I am just doing what I can" she said as her lips slowly curved into a low smile as I looked at her.

I saw Diya and Rudra then conversing something as Rudra consoled her, wiping her tears as I kept looking at them.

Also, I guess Diya is missing her family and why wouldn't she??? After all, everything happened so suddenly

"Oh hello, where are you lost???" my trance broke as Rudra snapped his fingers infront of me as I looked at him, confused.

"Sorry what???"

"Where are you lost??? Well I know you love my Tia a lot" he smirked as I looked at him, glaring.

My???

She is mine you understand???

I mean my friend, Just friend

"Hahaha just look at you Neil. You know it's so fun teasing you. Damn I so love to see this look of yours....hahahaha lmfao" he burst out laughing as Diya chuckled too as I rolled my eyes.

"You know what thank your stars that you are Tiasha's bestfriend and my sister's husband. Else I would have never even thought a second to give a reply" I gritted as he laughed more while this time Diya burst into laughters too.

"Hey Good Morning lovelies. What's so funny that all are laughing???" we three turned towards the living area as I saw Tiasha looking at us, grinning.

"Your jelly husband" Rudra screamed in between his laughters as Tiasha looked at me while shaking her head, silently chuckled.

What's so funny in this???

Ugh I will break their teeth

Taking slow steps, then  she was walking towards us and again was about to loose her balance when I immediately went towards her and held her by her waist while my other hand travelled towards her hand, holding it into mine.

She was still not completely fine yet this girl well doesn't listen anything

No.1 stubborn

She then slowly turned her face and looked at me and as I looked back at her and immediately when our eyes met, I felt completely oblivious of the surroundings as we kept looking at each other, unblinkingly.

"Is your only aim and goal in life is not listening to my words right???" I asked, glaring as she glared back at me.

"What do you mean??? Moreover, it is my life. My wish"

"Always it won't be your wish??? Why did you get up alone??? Yesterday because of your amazing walking skills, you tripped on a plain floor and now also you are not completely fine"

"I am fine now. Moreover, my leg is also great a mere sprain can't stop Tiasha and make her weak. Also, we are going to the NGO. Just chillax"

"You and chillax. Well doesn't go hand in hand. Well I mean you are chill definitely but you would not let others have chill" I rolled my eyes as she gave me a glare and was about to swat my hand away when I gripped her waist tightly.

"Dare you leave my hand. I am not letting you leave me and go. Got it???" I said as she looked at me, surprised as I saw her pupils gradually dilating.

"Now what happened??? Stop gawking Tiasha" I sighed as she smiled for a bit and shook her head.

Why I felt the smile to be a sarcastic one??? As if trying to hide something???

"Nothing happened Neil. Also, gawking at you??? Oh please, I would better stare blankly at the floor, ceiling or anything but you" she replied with a not-so-sweet-smile as I silently chuckled.

"I am telling this to you again Tiasha, do anything but lying. Come on, you can't even lie properly" a soft chuckle escaped my lips.

"Neil you---" she was about to say something but before she could complete her sentence, we heard a voice.

"*Ahem* *ahem* *ahem* Privacy please" Rudra giggled as we both looked at Rudra and Diya looking at us with a awe face.

Okay how did I forget that they were here too???

Oh god, seriously staying with an Anabelle, I am going mad. I will now need to book a mental asylum for myself

"Well happy realisation Mr. Khurrana. I didn't know your brain works too" she faked a praising look as I gave her a confused look.

"What do you mean???" I questioned back.

"Well I mean you realised you should stay in an mental asylum. Well though you called me Anabelle, well for once let's consider that. Yet you realised that you are going mad. Though you were the same before too" she said, blinking her eyelashes as then she was looking just as a kid, too innocent and sweet.

Sweet??? Well just ignore that

"Rudra you know what is good for you??? To shut your mouth now else I will break your teeth" her voice broke my trance as I looked at Tiasha who was glaring at Rudra.

"Well in that case, Rudy is right Tiasha" Diya said as Tiasha gave her a surprised and unbelievable look.

"Oh come on. Oh please not you now Diya" she sighed as Diya and Rudra giggled.

"Well on a serious note, bhai what happened??? Is Tiasha unwell or something??? I mean you hurriedly went towards her???" Diya asked with much concern.

"Yeah actually she yesterday just lost her balance and---" Rudra interrupted in between, cutting my sentence.

"Hey hey hey. Wait, wait wait. She fainted??? You guys really took that friends and relatives and that Godfather and Godmother one so seriously??? Wowww, I can't believe my eyes. So fa---"

"----Hey no. Absolutely not. Shut your mouth you fool. Are you mad??? This habit of saying anything didn't go Rudy" Tiasha shrieked as I looked at her and then back at Rudra while Diya shook her head, sighing.

"You are really so shameless yaar Rudy. What are you just saying???" Diya whispered to him, shutting him up yet audible enough for me to hear.

Yes yes yes, make your husband understand that

"What is my fault??? I just thought so I told. Moreover, you saw how Neil ran to her. You know I heard from my cousin sister too that my jiju was also behaving like this. Well, did I hurt them??? I will apologise then. Also I just tried to lighten the mood" he spoke looking at Diya as she gave a confused look.

Hearing that, I looked anywhere but them when my eyes turned around and fell on the person standing beside me as I looked at Tiasha who was looking at me too.

As soon as our eyes met, she immediately looked away this time, as I felt her breathing increased while she closed her eyes and then murmuring something looking at Rudra.

Ahhh probably cursing her bestfriend

"Well I guess you should sit atleast" I spoke up breaking her trance as she looked at me.

"Oh right yeah. By the way, my ankle is perfectly alright now and even thanks for switching on the light last night. The spray and bandage helped a lot too" she blabbered as I nodded while she looked at me.

"What???" I asked with a straight face as I continued, "See, it's good you are fine. But if you're thinking I am gonna leave you then bless your delusion thought"

"But I---"

"----I didn't complete it Tiasha. Also you will visit a doctor" I said as we walked towards the sofa as she took her seat.

"What!!!" she screamed as I put my fingers into my ears, not wanting to get a ruptured eardrums.

"Stop screaming like a mad person. Oh God, you just scared me" I sighed as she giggled.

"Oh what a great information. The Great Neil Khurrana is scared of my scream. Wow"

"Again this Great Neil Khurrana??? What is this haa??? You keep chanting this always. That's irritating Tia please. Well I mean Tiasha"

"That's not a big deal. You can call me Tia. Moreover, that's what people say right??? The Great Neil Khurrana"

"I don't care what people say. Well if so, then I am rude, arrogant and heartless too then. I mean everyone say the same to me" a humorlesss chuckle left my mouth.

"Hey I didn't mean to hurt you. I am sorry. I really didn't mean to hurt you. Neil I just said that---" she turned emotional as I shook my head giving a sweet smile.

"I know Tiasha. Well, one more thing, for the world or others I might be The Great Neil Khurrana, but for my close ones, it's just Neil and I want people who are my close ones to know me as Neil only. Also yeah, more than Tia, I love Anabelle one only. So it's Anabelle for me" I said as I pinched her nose while she looked at me pouting which gradually changed into a surprised one.

"Glad to hear to know that I am in our 'Close ones' list" she air quoted with her two fingers as I looked at her with an expressionless look not knowing what to answer.

Well I felt like I know the answer yet it wasn't escaping my mouth or maybe my heart was feeling a constant dilemma

"Afterall, I have to take a note of today's date" she pulled my cheeks as I groaned.

"Hey not again. I told you Tiasha" I complained as she giggled.

"You pinched my nose too" she pulled my cheeks more.

"Ouch it's hurts now. Yaar please. Moreover, you pulled my cheeks that day too. It's not fair"

"Everything is fair in love and war" she replied back, giggling as she left my cheeks and leaned back.

"Also in friendship too" she added as I looked at her while she continued, "Well see, in our case, we don't love each other and neither the situation is such that we have a war. Now we are friends but that's not in the phrase so I added it. Anyways, now leave these talks. Today is Priya and Darshini's birthday. Come on we need to go to the NGO too" she said as I nodded.

I was then about to reply something when Diya and Rudra walked towards us, dressed in a salwar and jeans and T-shirt respectively, giving us a smile.

"Hey Rudy, Diya you both are ready. You look so beautiful and gorgeous and pretty darling" she hugged Diya as she took a seat beside Tiasha when Rudra too walked towards her.

"Hey sweetheart. You look so handsome yaar. Ahhh now I know why in college you were everyone's charmer" she hugged Rudra as he reciprocated the hug while all of them giggled.

"Well but my love was, is and will always be for only one girl, My Diya" he looked at Diya, sitting on his knees and forwarded his hand as she held it and pulled him up as Tiasha looked at them in a awe.

Well I don't believe in love seeing Rudra and Diya together I know they are made for each other

After all, my Karan bhaiyya and Anu bhabhi are also made for each other

Only lucky ones indeed find the true love yet my fate is such that the girl for whom love is everything, it means so much, destiny tied us together in a marriage

We are only Bound By Marriage

"I am sorry Neil" a voice broke my trance as I looked up only to find Rudra standing close to the sida where I was sitting.

"Sorry for what???" I asked.

"Ohh at that time, I said that. You both didn't feel bad right??? Diya was telling that I speak a lot. Actually also you know I do fun talks a lot and sometimes maybe loose my mind and don't know what I speak. Sorry buddy" he pouted while I nodded.

"While that you do. Afterall, whose bestfriend we have to see" I replied back as I received a glare from my wife and continued, "Anyways, I don't feel bad. Neither I accept thanks nor sorry"

"Well that's great then buddy" he literally jumped on me hugging, as I stumbled back.

"You are indeed so cool bro. Thanks yaar. Also yeah I talk a lot. Actually you know I love to speak and interact" he wrapped his hands around my shoulder and continued, "Also dude your wife is more talkative than me. Well I am no less too. That's why we make a perfect pair. In college you know, Tia, Sne, Pri and I our group of four are so famous and infact everyone knows us. Though I am telling you, Tia also has a serious side. When she studies or in class you know, you will see a different Tiasha I tell you. So focus and so concentrated and that girl can become mature too. Ahhh lucky you Neil"

"Tiasha and mature???" I rolled my eyes, huffing.

"Hey not believing right??? But she has a mature side too and one other too, a damn scary one. That's when she stops talking or hardly in a mood to talk. Though that's very very rarely like once in a blue moon yet that really shit scares us"

How can I forget that Tiasha I saw after Tarun bhaiyya's death???

Well for a second I won't lie that even I was scared and couldn't recognise that she was the same Rajdhani Express of mine

Then Rudra kept on speaking and speaking as I kept on listening, without having any option while he kept on narrating their college stories, some of their childhood stories, Tiasha's life and everything.

Well I heard Tiasha's story carefully though

Rest not interested

"Ok Rudy now enough of talks ok??? We may continue the talk later" I finally spoke up after having a whole 20 minutes conversation.

We??? Well that should be You only

Oh god, this guy is just indeed another version of Tiasha if comes to talking

"Oh yes. Yeah sure. By the way, go and get ready dude. We are leaving for NGO with Mani di" he said as I nodded as Diya and Tiasha looked at us, walking towards us.

"Yes bhai. Mani is going so we going too. We both will manage there. You both come slowly" Diya said as I nodded yet again.

"Well take care sweetie. Now come on, also learn to walk properly by keeping your eyes open. By God's grace, thank the almighty that it's just a sprain and nothing more. Take care" Rudra patted Tiasha's cheeks, mocking her yet voice filled with concern as she rolled her eyes while smiling.

"I walk properly only" she gave a not-so-sweet-smile as all chuckled.

"Yeah I know. Once you broke your leg too because you were skipping the stairs and running upstairs. Such a mischievous kid you were Tia"

"What really???Lol I didn't knew you were mischievous too" Diya nudged her shoulder as she shook her head, glaring at Rudra.

Well that's nothing new to me though

"Oh come on even your husband was. Rudra better stop it. Else I will spill the beans too" she threatened as Rudra turned deaf ears.

"Hahaha as if I am scared. Diya already knows mine one" he made a weird face at her sticking his tongue out as Diya agreed.

"Well yeah. He told me. Actually you know we before getting into a relationship, where friends only so yeah his almost all the stories I know. And that's when you know, we both realised how compatible we are" she said as looked at Tiasha who was busy talking with them.

"Yeah absolutely. You know indeed our friendship gave a new start to our relationship. It's the base you can say. At first, we thought we are completely opposites, though we are yet there are many things common too" Rudra replied as this time Tiasha too looked at me.

"I know Rudy. Afterall, no matter how much opposite you are, there is always the some thing in common which binds two person and one needs to just find that" she looked away while I kept looking at her.

"Exactly and I tell you when you really start knowing the person, then you realise why he/she is in your life. Come on,afterall we don't meet people by accident. It's either for a forever or just a part of our lives. Yet a reason is there. Anyways we have to leave now. Mani di is waiting" Diya said in a go and bidding a goodbye, she and Rudra left the place while Tiasha
