Tiasha's POV

Life is indeed so unpredictable

It's been weeks since bhaiyya left of all us went for heavenly abode, making a void inside me for a lifetime which nobody can fill ever.

Yet we can't stop time right??? Neither it happened for me too. I was also flowing with the time and like that days kept on passing. I won't say I was completely back to normalcy, but yeah I was trying to intake the fact and live the rest of my life just my remembering my parents and bhaiyya and treasuring them inside my heart for forever.

Here in this house, everyone became my support system and loved me unconditionally and still doing so. Sometimes, I think what I did to receive such a lovely family.

Shalini aunty indeed showered me with lots of love and made me feel like another daughter of her. Though she always did the same. She never differentiated between Naina, Anamika bhabi and me. Whenever I felt low, she was there to be with me and while I was having sleepless nights, she was the one who used to lul me to sleep.

Indeed I can say I found a mother for me. God did take away my parents and they are above everything, but Shalini aunty was no less than my mumma to me.

In all these, what came as a surprise or a shocker for me was Mr. Grumpy Khurrana was nowadays not remain as grumpy as he was. I don't know what is the reason but I feel something is there which we all are unaware of.

Or maybe he was never grumpy only or something which I don't know yet

But anyways, things were still the same and now somewhere I also started feeling our banters to be a part of my life and somewhere, without having a one with him, even I feel something is incomplete.

"Tiasha come downstairs. Bhabi is calling you" Rashi bua called from downstairs as I gave a yes in response.

Turning around, I looked at the mirror for a time before leaving and walked towards the door to leave when I bumped into a hard chest and stumbled a bit to land only on the floor on my back, straight, when I felt a tight grip around my waist as my hands automatically rested on the broad shoulders as my eyes were shut closed.

"Easy. Easy. God where are you going with this speed???" I immediately shot open my eyes as I lifted my chin and looked up only to find Neil looking at me with a questioning eyes.

"I am sorry. Actually bua was calling me" I replied as he nodded his head as I slowly left my grip from his shoulders as he took his hand off my waist making me stand properly.

As I stood on the ground, I stepped aside and was about to leave when I felt a pull on my neck as I halted on my tracks.

"Ahhh" I winced a bit in pain as I felt a tug on my wrist.

I was pulled back to my previous position as Neil made me stand infront of me as I looked at him confused.

"Your mangalsutra is stuck" he said looking at his shirt's button as I followed his gaze.

"Oh sorry" I quickly replied and tried to untie it as it got entangled even more.

"Ouchhh" I felt a chock on my neck yet again as my fingers tried to fix the chain.

"You are not playing piano here Tiasha" he said blankly as I gave him a weird face as he continued, "Leave it. This is not how you untangle it"

"But it's not fixing"

"Leave it. I am doing else I will have to break it"

"No ways. I will break you then"

"Woahhh cool. You are reacting as if I asked you to sell your kidneys" he chuckled as I removed my hand and gave him a weird look.

Well he chuckled???
Point to be noted because that's something new

"You really do such acts na what I will tell. Who told you to run downstairs??? One work if you can do in no hurry" he kept speaking to himself as his fingers worked on the chain.

As he was untangling the nuptial chain, I looked in front at him only to realise how close we were standing with my heart throbbing against my chest as he looked back at me.

"Done" he said, breaking my trance.

"Thank you" I replied as I gave him a smile.

Then I was about to move and walk away when I again bumped with him yet again as he moved in the same way as we looked at each other.

Then I took the other way and was about to leave and walk when we again crossed our oatgs as we kept on swinging like a pendulum.

"Wait" he stated and stopped for a moment, moving aside as he lifted his hand at the door.

"You go first. Else this would be a never-ending thing. Ugh I am stuck with a crazy here" he sighed as I gave him a irritated look.

"Very funny. I am also not interested to stay here with an grumpy idiot. Side please" I said with a not-so-sweet-smile as I walked away.

"Ouch" I hissed in pain as I banged my head with the door and realised that I was walking, absent-mindedly, busy giving an annoyed look to him.

"Oops careful. See I told you. Stop staring so much. Yeah your eyeballs didn't fall off but see you banged your head" his concerned voice was filled with sarcasm as he chuckled.

Can I just bang his head??? Or break his teeth???
I swear I can do so. Idiot!!!

I gave him an irritating look before turning around and was about to walk away when I heard him speaking to bhaiyya's photo.

"Tarun bhaiyya, your sister is indeed unique one. I just wonder whether she is 23 or only 2 or 3. Ahhhh I wish you could be here with us and see your sister's madness. We all miss you so much" I turned around looking at him, who was looking at bhaiyya's photo.

I was lost in my thoughts as my eyes brimmed with tears as I remembered him and his words kept ringing in my mind and ears.

"Today, I can assure you one thing. No matter what, Neil will never leave you alone"

"See I told you that he is a good human being. Also I must say that he is lucky to as he found a life partner like you. I saw something in his eyes"

I kept looking at him with moist eyes as a sweet smile plastered my lips on recalling the words and also Neil's chuckling face.

No Tiasha no. I have to be strong. I can't get attached like this. Afterall, it's only a deal for a year.

God, I wish only if it could have been for forever

"Tiasha" my trance broke when I heard Anamika bhabi calling.

"Co---coming bhabi" my voice chocked a bit as I wiped off my tears and immediately left the room.

"Tiasha you are here. Come dear see, someone came to meet you" aunty said as she called me from the living room as I descended the stairs.

"Yes aunty" I replied with a smile and walked towards the sofa as I saw Mr. Piyush Gupta, bhaiyya's P.A standing in front of me.

"Piyush you are here????" I asked as he greeted me with a smile.

"Okay you two continue with your talks. Son let me bring some sweets for you" aunty said and walked towards the kitchen.

"Good morning ma'am. Actually, I just came here to give you these files. I would like you to read through the documents ma'am. I hope you understand the matter" he said forwarding a file as I took it with a confused face.

Documents for me???

"Piyush do you have any idea about what are they for???" I asked as he nodded.

"Ma'am it's the property papers and about the Singhania Group of Company. Sir asked me to hand it over to you, after his death" he said with a emotional face as I nodded.

"Okay. Thank you Piyush"

"No issues ma'am. It's my job. And yeah, I hope you are better now ma'am. Indeed Sir's demise, shook our company too" he bowed his head down.

"I know Piyush. Anyways, don't worry. I will surely go through them" I said as he gave a smile.

"Also one more thing ma'am" he said and bend towards the sofa, picking up a packet.

"Sir also kept this on the locker. I don't know anything about this but I was just asked to give it to you. Anyways, I think I should leave now. Have a good day ma'am and don't worry" he said with a smile.

"Wishing a good day to you too" I replied as he took his leave.

After his departure, I stood there with a confused face with the file and packet in my hand as I kept the file on the table and thought of checking the packet.

I dug my hand inside it when I felt a box inside it as I looked down to it and took the box out.

Box??? Bhaiyya left a box for me???

I thought for a moment and was about to open the box when a note fell from it as I picked it up from the ground.

I opened the letter and started reading it as my eyes scanned each and every letter of the words written on the note.

Tia, I know you must be thinking what is this box all about. But before starting to read this, I would request you to give this to Neil too. This is something which I wrote for both of you. Though if you want you can just tell the matter to him. But I would request you both to read it together. I hope you will understand everything after reading this letter

I read the note and looked at the date which was about almost 10 days after our marriage and then back at the box, lost in my thoughts.

Bhaiyya wants Neil too read this too

I was lost thinking what to do next but before my mind could process anything I heard a scream as I turned around to find Neil running towards the dinning table as I looked at the direction to find aunty almost loosing her balance as she clutched her head.

"Mom" he ran towards her as I followed too when we both held her before she could faint and land on the floor.

"You ok mom???" he asked with much concern as we made her sit on the chair as she nodded.

"I am fine bachha. Don't worry"

"Don't worry??? Are you serious??? You were about to fall???" I said sternly looking at her as she chuckled.

"Don't laugh mom" Neil pulled a chair beside her and forwarded a glass of water to her.

"Bhabi see this is why I was telling you not to work so much" bua walked with a plate and kept on the dining table.

"Why??? What happened bua???" I asked as Neil shot a look at her and exchanged glances between the two as she nodded her head.

"Rashi you---"

"----You keep quiet mom. What happened bua???" Neil asked gritting his teeth as bua sighed in defeat.

"I am sorry bhabi. I am scared of this son of yours. I can't help it. Neil, bhabi isn't doing well since few days. You know whatever happened, she just fainted last day and even doctor said her bp has increased" bua said as Neil and I looked at her and then back at aunty in a shock.

"Mom you also na. And bua you???"

"When did this happen???"

"Day before yesterday when she went to our house. I told to inform you and Tia but she said that Tiasha is also going through a lot and we are also having going through a lot" bua said as aunty gave her a glare and asked her to stop.

For me, aunty fell ill???

"Ahhhh Rashi. Your choice of words are wrong" she said sternly as bua replied a sorry.

"I am sorry bhabi. I didn't mean in that way. Actually tension is not good for you also and you are also not eating and----"

"You are not eating???" I asked her as she shook her head and then again nodded as I sighed.

"Oh come on mom, you are not a kid. Say yes or no" Neil roared as Naina, Anu bhabi and Naman walked towards us.

"Yeah yeah scream and shout. Shall I get you a microphone so that you can announce this to the world" she said as sarcasm dripped down her words.

"This is not funny please" I said as my eyes turned moist as she looked at me confused.

"Yes Tia don't worry. Doctor checked her. It's just that she is taking stress a lot. Nothing much" bua said as she nodded.

"Arre Tia??? See I am fine. Why are you crying tell me tho???" she asked cupping my face turning to my side.

"Then why didn't you take medicines??? You know na I never want anyone to suffer because of me. And you take care of everyone but not yourself???"

"Ayeee I will scold you if you say we are suffering for you. Same dialogue as Neil. Like husband like wife" she chuckled trying to ease the moment while Neil sighed yet fuming with anger.

"That you can scold me. But before that I will scold you. Why are you ignoring your health??? Don't you know here you have a daughter???" I asked as my lower lips pouted upwards as she caressed my face.

"Awwww meri bachhi. Itna chinta hai mere liye???(Awwww my dear. You are so worried for me???)"

"Kyu nahi hogi haa???(Why won't I worry??) Neil told me that you have heart disease and is under medication. I know you are fine but because of medicines. That doesn't mean that you will take care of us and not you Maa. I am telling you, if you do this again, then remember I can get double angry than your son. A total volcano I am telling. I already lost everyone, I can't loose you Maa" I said and leaned against her shoulder as a pin drop silence prevailed in the room.

I lifted my face a little, turning towards her as I found her looking at me with a surprised look as her eyes brimmed with tears while I looked around only too find everyone looking at me as if I am a ghost.

Okay did I overreact???
I shouldn't have talked with her like that

"Ohh I am sorry. I shouldn't have talked----" I looked at her with an apologetic face but was immediately stopped in between when she cupped my face.

"Tiasha what did you call me???" she asked.

"Maa" I replied as she smiled with tears in her eyes and a bright smile was plastered on her lips as well.

"Tiasha, you called me Maa???" her voice was low enough yet audible for us as I looked at her with an expressionless face as my mind recalled the incidents.

"Yeah I---I---"

"Bachha, now tho I don't even need any medicines only" I was engulfed in a hug before I could complete my sentence as I hugged her back and looked at everyone's smiling face.

"I thought I over reacted so you all are angry. I am sorry maa" I hugged her more tightly as she reciprocated in the same way.

Except Neil. Though his face showed a different kind of emotion which I so very wanted to understand.

"Ok ok now enough. But I am also very strict. This sweet words won't work. You will have food right now and will take the medicines and tomorrow you will be going for a check-up again maa " I said breaking the hug as she gave a sigh while others chuckled.

"Lo ho gaya. Ek mera yeh beta kam tha kya Rashi jo ab ek beti bhi aise daant ne lagi(Well great. This one son of mine was less or what Rashi that now a daughter is also scolding me)" she made a pout as I and Neil gave her a 'You-have-to-take-care-of-yourself' look.

"Yayyyyhooooo bhabi. I am so happy" Naina hugged me as maa glared at her while she paid no heed and continued, "Here I am youngest so no one listens to me and bro, bro also same thing. And we didn't have that courage to tell bhaiyya anything. You know he gets angry na" the last lines where whispered to my ears as she chuckled while I looked at Neil who gave me a same grumpy look.

"But now mom, our base is strong. Right bhabi???" she asked as I nodded.

"Achha bachha. I am still your mother only. Now go and study. Else you will get a lovely laddooo on your paper" maa said with a not-so-sweet-smile as Naina groaned.

"Bhabi see"

"Yeah yeah. Maa please don't say like this. Our Naina is a amazing student" I cupped her face and chuckled as maa did the same.

"Yeah yeah laugh only. I am going to study" she said and pouting like a kid left the place as we all burst out laughing.

"Okay now come and have breakfast. Naina already had so only you all and----"

"----We all maa and I am arranging it maa. You quietly sit here. Anu bhabi let's go" I said as maa sighed chuckling followed by bua.

"Ok I am then leaving for work" Neil said as maa stopped him.

"First breakfast" she said as he sighed.

"I am getting late"

"Then I am also not having it and neither taking medicines. Your choice"

"Mom" he groaned

"Neil" she said sternly

"Fine" he went and took his seat as we all burst out laughing.

Though I wasn't laughing that much, except a small chuckle left my lips when I felt a gaze on me as I looked at him while my chuckles subdued gradually as we shared an eyelock.

He was looking at me narrowing his eyebrows as I felt a shiver run down my spine though we were standing few metres away.

Why is his gaze so intimidating???
Ok ok Tia relax. Breath in and breath out

"So are you willing to have breakfast or you are full only by having a nice treat you your eyes" I heard bhabi whispering, breaking my trance as I shook my head.

"Shut up bhabi. Let's go and bring the---"

"-----Food is already there" she looked at the table as I followed her direction.

"Now think less and come" she smiled as I nodded.

Then we all had our breakfast after which Neil left for office and I was having a holiday that day so I went back to the room and Anamika bhabi accompanied me.

It was almost evening when suddenly the doorbell rang as I kept back the box back into the cupboard along with the file, I went downstairs.

"Hi Tiasha. Good evening cutie" a smile plastered my lips as I saw Rudra entering the living room.

"Rudy. Good evening sweet sweet" I gave him a hug as he reciprocated the hug.

"Don't call me so sweet. I will turn into a bitter gourd juice else" he laughed as I rolled my eyes.

"Very funny. You always say like this??"

"Hayeee my possessive bestie. But I didn't take any name"

"Stop it Rudy" I whisper- yelled as he laughed.

"Ok ok fine" he whispered and looked at maa.

"Hello aunty. Good evening" he went and greeted maa and he took her blessings as she caressed her hair and face.

"Hello Rudy. Stay blessed and healthy. Please have a seat"

"Yes aunty. Thank you"

"Yeah yeah come"

"By the way Tiasha, take her to your room only. Here Raj is having a meeting with his P.A. They might need this space"

"Okay maa. Rudy come" I said as he looked at maa and then back at me with much confusion.

"Go dear. We won't kill you"

"Hehe exactly. Now come" I said as maa walked towards her room while I and Rudy went inside.

"Tia can I also light a lamp at his picture???" Rudy asked exchanging glances between me and bhaiyya's photo as I nodded.

"Ofcourse. Don't be formal now" I said as I passed him a matchbox as he lighted the lamp.

"You stay happy bhaiyya. Wherever you are, I hope and pray you stay happy" he prayed, joining his hands and closed his eyes and then looked at me, "For your sister, we all are here. Though now we have to handle this crazy all
