Let's begin with the chapter now.

Akash's POV

Once the call was over, me and Sid were alone.

I knew there were lot of questions in his mind about the incident that happened yesterday and also about Sanchit.

"Yeah tell me, what do you want to ask?" I asked him.

"Where's he?" he said, through clenched teeth.

"In my hotel room" I said.

"What's he doing there? Wouldn't he try to escape from there? How could you be so careless Akash" he asked with disbelief.

"Don't worry, guards are taking care of him and I've asked them to keep hawk like eyes on him. One of them is in the room and others are guarding the room" I said.

"I want to strangle him to death" he said, seething in anger.

"Relax Sid, I know what're you feeling right now. Even I felt the same when Siya was being called names after the scandal. I was just seeing red and I felt like ripping every mouth that was questioning her character. Here even Kriti was on the verge of getting treated the same way but I told all the trainees that words shouldn't travel from here at any cost" I said.

Sighing, he said "that's very thoughtful of you Akash but do you think they'll stick to your instructions?"

"Well, we can just hope that they do" I said.

"You think Sanchit will be proven guilty?" he asked.

"Of course, he'll. I've collected enough proof to prove him guilty" I said, giving him a small smile.

Silence prevailed then.

"How's she?" I asked.

"She wasn't fine yesterday" he said.

"I know. No one would be, especially after what happened with her" I said.

"She wasn't in her right state of mind yesterday" he said.

"Was it difficult to handle her?" I asked after few minutes.

"Yes, it was. She was thrashing, screaming asking me to...to remove hos touch" he said and looked away.

My blood boiled listening to it.

"It's all because of that bastard" I said, growling in anger.

"I know but I am sure he will be punished for his deeds" he said.

"I think we should go to them now, they must be waiting for us" I said.

"Yeah, let's go" he said and we walked to the living room.

"Are you sure you want to file a case of sexual harassment on him?" I heard Siya asking.

We both halted in our steps as we both didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

I know how worried Siya was about her and finally when she has got a chance to talk to her, I didn't want to be any hinderance to it.

"Yes, Siya, this is what I want" I heard Kriti saying.

"If that's what you want, I'll be with you" I heard her saying.

"Thank you so much" Kriti said.

"You don't have to say anything to me. You know whatever you decide I'll be right beside you, supporting you in every decision that you take" she said.

"Thank you" Kriti said and hugged her.

When I looked at Sid, he was smiling looking at the duo and even I had a small smile on my lips.

"Now enough of your love showering. Come on get ready" I said and they both looked at me.

"Where are we going?" Kriti asked confused.

"Why don't we go out today? I mean since even you two are committed now we could go out together and enjoy. Just like...like double date" I suggested.

When they didn't reply for a few seconds and were gaping at me, I turned to Sid and he was giving me a question gaze.

"Come on you two. We don't have time. We should be quick" I said.

"Come Sid, let's get ready and you two, you've half an hour. Then we all will be going for our double date" I said.

"Do you think it's the right time to step out today?" Sid asked, glancing at Kriti.

"Of course it is. If you both don't remember, you have approval from Mohit about your relationship. What could've been better than this. If Mohit has agreed, half of the work is already done. Now the other half is left which I know will take some time because that's Sid's part of job. I am so glad that Sid asked for time from him and I am even more glad that Mohit agreed to it." I said.

When I looked at Kriti, she was blushing and I saw Sid smirking.

"Do you think I would be able to convince her parents" he asked.

"Of course, if not I would elope with you" Kriti said and hooked her arms around Sid's.

I just looked away. Don't take me wrong but I consider her my sister. No doubt I wanted them to be together but when finally they're together, it kind of feels awkward.

Imagine your sister doing PDA in front of you.

"Akash...are you listening?" Siya's voice brought me back from my thinking reverie.

"Yeah..I am listening. Tell me what happened?" I asked and she looked at me in disbelief.

"You didn't hear me, did you?" she asked.

Rubbing the back of my neck, I said "yeah...I was listening."

"Don't lie to me, what did I say just now, tell me" she asked, keeping her hands on her waist, glaring at me.

I gulped hard and said "you...you were..."

She waited for me to say anything further but I didn't.

Sighing, I said "I am sorry I wasn't listening."

"What were you thinking?" she asked me.

I sat on the couch and said "nothing much, I was just thinking about these two" and pointed at Sid and Kriti.

"What are you thinking about us?" Kriti asked, sitting on the couch beside me and Sid sat beside her with the same questioning gaze.

"Nothing, I was just thinking no doubt I wanted them to be together but when they finally are, I feel like how will I handle their PDA" I said.

"Why? You don't want us doing PDA?" Kriti said and sat on Sid's lap.

I immediately looked away.

"What's this Akash bhaiya, you told me whatever my decision would be, you'd support me and when I've finally made one, you can't back out" she said, narrowing her eyes at me.

I was glad that she's still the same playful, chirpy girl that she has been all her life.

No doubt she was serious today morning while discussing about what needs to be done next but I am happy that Sid handled her so well that she didn't lose her child like innocence.

Mostly girls don't want to face anyone after these incidents but I am glad she's very strong and is ready to face the world.

I looked at Sid and he gave me a small smile, probably he understood what I was thinking.

"Bhaiya, are you there?" Kriti said, pouting, snapping her fingers in front of me.

"Yeah, I am here" I said, smiling.

"Why are you zoning out so much today, Akash?" Siya asked and sat beside me.

"Nothing baby, it's just that...I am quite new to Kriti and Sid doing PDA so I am a little..a little" I didn't know what to say.

"Awww Bhaiya you're so sweet" Kriti said and got off Sid's lap and sat beside me, but that's not it, she started pinching my left cheek.

"Awww Akash you're so sweet" Siya said and pinched my right cheek.

Imagine a grown up like me being pinched by girls on both my cheeks, both sitting on either side of me.

"Ahhh" I winced in pain and they immediately left me, but the room resonated with their laughter shortly after.

I looked at them and they were laughing their hearts out.

"Stop laughing and get ready. We'll be coming back in half an hour" I said and stood up with a smile and Sid followed me.

Once outside the flat and we were in the corridor, Sid said "do you think we deserve them?"

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Neither you could save Siya when she needed you nor I could save Kriti when she needed me. Do you think we really deserve them?" he asked.

"I don't know Sid if I deserve her or not but I know for a reason, I can't let her go. I am too selfish to let her go" I said.

"Me too" he said and we both smiled.

Siya's POV

"You should've looked at his face" I said and laughed and Kriti was rolling on the floor.

"Girl you're such a bad girlfriend" she said and I laughed hard.

"What? Is it bad to pull his leg? You should've seen his face when you sat on Sid's lap. He was all red" I said, clutching my stomach.

Well it was me who asked Kriti to do a little PDA in front of Akash and make him a little shy.

I only wanted to lift her mood. Although I know she's behaving all normal but I wanted to make sure that yesterday's event aren't affecting her much.

When Sid and Akash were on video call with Mohit in my room, we decided to tease him once he comes out and hence all this PDA.

"I think we should get ready now or else they both will eat our heads" I said and she nodded but before she could walk to her, I stopped her.

"What's it Siya?" she asked, smiling.

"You're fine right?" I asked and her smile vanished.

I felt such a fool when I asked her if she's fine or not. She was smiling before but as soon as I asked her, her smile vanished.

"Look Kriti, I just want you to be like you were, before. I know it isn't easy to forget what happened but...not thinking about it is the best way to forget about it. I know there's a lot of procedure to be done in our office for logging a case against Sanchit and you'll have to testify but...trust me, once all of this is over, you don't need to think that it ever happened" I said, cupping her cheeks.

She hugged me immediately and I hugged her back.

"You know, you're the best friend god could've ever given me" she said.

"Oh come on, I know I am the best" I said, breaking the hug and flipping my hair dramatically.

She chuckled and said "now come, let's get ready or the two devils would eat our heads for being late."

"Yes" I said and we both went to our respective rooms to get ready.

After around half an hour, I heard the bell ringing.

"Kriti, can you please open the door, I am not ready yet" I shouted as I was still not dressed.

"Yeah, I'll check" Kriti shouted back.

After around five minutes I heard the door opening and closing.

Of course it was Akash.

When I was applying kohl in my eyes while looking in the mirror, I saw him coming towards me through it.

Our eyes were holding each other's gaze while I was applying kohl.

Looking in my eyes through the mirror, when he was just behind me, he kept his head on my shoulder and buried his face in the back of my neck and inhaled my scent, while his hands were wrapped around my waist.

"You smell so good, baby" he said and kissed the back of my neck, making me close my eyes.

"Oh really" I whispered and I could feel him nodding his head while his face was still buried deep in my neck.

"I love you" he said, raising his head from my neck and when I opened my eyes, I saw him looking at me through mirror.

"I love you too" I said and he smiled.

"I'll make sure that I am the only one you'll ever say these words to" he said and kissed behind my ear making me drop my kohl pencil.

"I'll only say these words to you. Not to anyone else as long as I am alive" I said.

"Good" he said and unwrapping his hands from my waist, came in front of me.

Lifting the pencil, he asked "may I?"

I smiled and said "do you know how to apply it?"

"I don't know, but I can try" he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

I shook my head and said "yeah sure."

He then started applying the kohl on my waterline all the while staring deep in my eyes.

His one hand was cupping my cheeks while the other hand was being used for applying the kohl.

"You know, you should always apply kohl when you go out" he said while shifting to my other eyes

"Why?" I asked.

"That's because as mom says, kohl keeps you away from evil eyes and I don't want anything bad happening to you" he said.

I laughed hard listening to him and he pouted.

Once he was done applying the kohl, I kissed his pout and said "you believe these things?"

"I don't know how much of it is true but I know for a fact that you're too precious for me to lose you because of any evil eyes" he said.

"Akash, nothing will happen to me. You, your family, Sid Kriti are there with me. What more could I ask for? As long as I've you all with me, nothing will happen" I said, keeping my hands on his shoulder.

"Okay, as you say" he said.

I then heard a gentle knock on my door and heard Kriti saying "if you love birds are done, can we please go now?"

"Hey you can't call us love birds when even you're one now" I shouted.

"Oh come on, I've just been committed for a day and you both have been committed for so long. I've all the rights in the world to act all lovey-dovey" she shouted.

"So do we" Akash shouted.

"Oh come on, we can keep bantering later, Come fast or we'll be late" we heard Sid saying.

"Okay, we're coming" I shouted.

"Come on Akash, let's go" I said and dragged him with me.

"Finally, you both graced us with your presence. Come, let's go" Kriti said rolling her eyes, once I opened the door and hooked her elbow with mine. We then got out of the flat, locking the door behind.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Well for starters, I've booked movie tickets for us and then we can roam around wherever you both want" Akash said.

"Okay" We nodded and proceeded to the parking where his car was.

When I was about to take the backseat, Sid said "hey Siya, do you mind sitting on the passenger seat. I want to sit beside Kriti."

I smirked and said "sure why not."

Once I was seated on the passenger seat, Akash started the car and taking his hands in mine, he kissed my knuckles and said "we succeeded Siya."

When he saw my confused expression, he looked at the rear view and as if on cue, I looked at it and saw both Kriti and Sid lost in each other while talking and their hands intertwined.

Then I looked at Akash and even he looked at me.

Kissing my knuckles again, he kept our intertwined hands on his lap and with a content sigh, I looked out of the window.

"Finally" I thought.
