Hey my lovely readers.

How are you all?

Are you all enjoying the book so far?

Well before beginning, I just thought to ask you guys something. What are your hobby/hobbies? Do comment down below because I would love to know about my readers.

Let's begin with the chapter now.

Siya's POV

I stirred in my sleep and realized, my head was on a warm chest.

I wanted more warmth, hence I snuggled close to the warm embrace and then I came to know, I was wrapped in a strong pair of arms, securing me by my waist.

When I peeked through my left eye, I saw a beautiful view of Akash's handsome face with light stubble.

I had a sudden urge to roam my hands around his face, so without waiting a second, I traced his face with my fingers.

His face seems so calm, surreal, void of any tension.

I just want him to stay as he is, calm, tension-free.

Then my thoughts immediately went to the time when I broke up with him and shattered his heart in million pieces.

I scoffed at the irony, I am the one who wanted him to always remain happy and I am the reason behind his misery, his sufferings when I promised him that I would never leave him.

"What happened baby?" I was snapped out of my thoughts when Akash's sleepy voice came to my ears.

"Nothing Akash" I said to him, smiling. I couldn't tell him how guilty I feel about my actions and I didn't want him to know about it because I know that would make him sad.

Stretching his arms, he snuggled close to my chest and looked at me through his eyelashes.

"Good morning baby" he said and kissed my nose.

"Good morning Akash" I said, roaming my hands on his hair.

"You know, you look so good when you look at me" he said, tracing my bottom lip with his thumb.

His actions were making me mad and within a few seconds, I was panting.

Suddenly, I felt his hands travelling towards my south.

His fingers were now caressing the sides of my stomach, creating havoc in my body.

But I understood his intentions when he started tickling my sides.

"Oh..oh my god, Akash" I said, in between laughing.

"I won't leave you today" he said and started tickling me more.

"oh...Aka...Akash.. sto...stop please" I said, trying to get out of his hold.

"No" he said and continued tickling me.

"Ple..please" I said, running around the room, once his hold on me loosened.

"Come here baby" he said, running behind me.

"No" I shrieked and ran to the living room.

"Siya" he shouted running behind me.

"Come to me" he said and I giggled.

"No" I said and we were circling around the couch with him trying to catch me.

Suddenly he caught my wrist, making me stumble and as a result, I landed flat on the couch with him above me.

Our faces were just inches apart and we both were panting heavily when licking my earlobe, he said "good morning baby."

"You just said good morning a few minutes ago" I reminded him.

"But that wasn't a proper good morning" he said, flicking my nose.

"Okay, then tell me what's a proper way to wish good morning?" I asked.

Without any delay, he kissed me on my lips and pinched my waist, making me gasp.

Taking this as an opportunity, he slid his tongue in my mouth, exploring each and every corner of it.

I was about to hold his neck to deepen the kiss when we heard a loud shreaking voice "oh my god, my poor virgin eyes."

I immediately made some distance between us and stood up to see Kriti standing on the door with her hands kept on her eyes.

"Are you both sober now?" she asked, still keeping her hands on her eyes.

"Yeah" I replied meekly.

She peeked through her left eye and when she saw we were 'sober' she came and sat on the couch.

"Bhaiya, I've always told you I am not interested in seeing you both making babies" she said, rolling her eyes.

"We weren't making babies Kriti. I was just practicing" Akash said, shrugging.

"Practicing what?" she asked.

"Making babies" he said, shrugging.

"Yeah yeah, I know you're so desperate for each other" she said.

"But you need to promise me something" she said to Akash.

"What?" he asked.

"I'll be the godmother of your children" she said.

"Of course" he said, side hugging her.

My gaze went to her dress.

She wasn't in her night dress.

"Kriti? Why are you still in yesterday's clothes?" I asked her.

Her eyes went wide and she said "I...I actually came just now."

"What?" me and Akash, both shouted at the same time.

"You were out the whole night?" Akash asked.

"Yes bhaiya" she said, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Kriti, I gave you extra set of keys so that you could come home even if you're late" I said, narrowing my eyes at her.

"Yes, you did but after having dinner with Sid yesterday, he invited me for coffee and then we just got indulged in reminiscing the memories of our college days and then we lost track of time and got late. By the time we realized, it was already one. So I thought it's better to stay there" she said and looked away.

I gasped at that and said "you mean to say, you spent the entire night with Sid?"

"No" she was quick to reply.

"I...slept in Akash bhaiya's room" she said, looking down, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Oh" I said, disappointed.

"Why're you so nervous?" Akash asked her after observing her for a few minutes.

"Actually...I never was alone with any boy other than Mohit bhaiya. I don't know what would you both think about me" she said, looking down.

Sitting by her side, I said "why do you think we would judge you?"

"I...I don't know. I just thought so" she said, looking at me.

Taking her hands in his, Akash said "we would never judge you Kriti. Even friends spend time together. There's nothing wrong in it. Moreover, you both agreed to sort out your differences  and for that spending time with each other is mandatory. There's nothing wrong in what you did. You just need to know that whatever you feel like and whatever you decide, we both will stand with you."

"Really?" she asked like a child.

"Really" he said, pinching her cheeks.

"Owww bhaiya" she whined.

"What?" he said, pulling her cheeks.

"Leave me, it's hurting" she said, whining.

He chuckled and left her cheeks.

"Me and Sid will get ready and we'll be back in some time okay?" he said and I nodded.

Kissing my forehead, he went to his flat.

Locking the door behind him, I sat on the couch beside her and kept my hands on my chest.

"Now spill the beans" I said.

"Wh..what do you mean?" she asked, not meeting my gaze.

Gasping, I said "you did the deed?"

"What? of course not. We just kissed" she said in a hurry.

My eyes went wide and realizing what she just said, she closed her eyes in frustration.

She was about to sprint to her room but I caught her hand and pinned her on the couch.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Kriti is it true?" I squealed and she just looked away but I didn't miss the blush on her cheeks.

"Oh my god" I said and hugged her.

"Girl...you...you're chocking me" she said in between her breaths.

"Oh my god" I said started kissing her whole face.

"Girl...leave me" she said squealing, trying to get out of my hold.

"No" I said and kissed her whole face again.

"Oh my god. Girl..." she said and started tickling me.

"Oh...please leave me" I said laughing and we both were panting by now.

We both were now on the couch, upside down, catching our breath.

"Did you forgive him?" I asked the question which was bugging my mind for so long.

"I...I don't know" she said, sighing.

"What do you mean? You kissed him right?" I asked, getting confused.

"Yeah...we kissed but...I think I need some more time" she said, looking at me.

"I understand you Kriti, I know it's hard for you. Take as much time as you want" I said, looking at her with a small smile.

"Thank you, for your support" she said, smiling back at me.

We were in comfortable silence for sometime when I decided to brake it and asked her "can I request you something?"

"Yeah" she said, looking at the ceiling.

"If you ever feel that you don't have the same feelings as Sid has for you, please don't lead him on" I said. "He'll be heartbroken."

"I know. That's why I need some time to figure out my feelings for him. The reason I kissed him yesterday was because I felt...it was right. At that time, my yearning, his reasoning nothing mattered because I just wanted to feel him. Rest assured Siya, I'll never lead him on if I don't feel the same way he feels for me" she said, giving me a small smile.

Akash's POV

We were getting ready for office when Kriti's words were ringing in my ear.

I really want them to end up together but at the same time I want them to be sure of each other.

Both of them are important to me but I don't want anyone of them to get hurt.

Sighing when I was making my way to Siya's flat I saw Sid making his way to the door, whistling all along, dangling the car keys in his fingers.

"Someone seems to be in a very good mood" I said, taking the car keys from him and flat keys which were resting on the counter table.

"Yeah..." he said in a dreamy voice.

"Did you enjoy spending time with Kriti yesterday?" I asked him.

"Of course" he said, looking at me with a small smile.

"So, did she forgive you?" I asked him.

"No...not yet, but I am happy at least we're in talking terms and after yesterday night, I am sure she won't avoid me" he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"That's because, after spending time with her yesterday I've realized she's missed me as much as I've missed her and in no way I'll let that slide now. I just wanted one hope, one signal that she still considers me her friend and yesterday she proved me right" he said.

"How?" I asked him.

"Let's just say, it slipped out of her mouth how much she missed me, which was enough to make me aware that she's on the same page as me" he said, shrugging.

"I am so happy for you" I said, hugging him, patting his back.

"Even I am happy, but there's still lot of work to be done" he said.

"Yeah, I know, there's lot of work to be done" I said.

We then rang the call bell of their flat and waited for the door to be opened.

I was expecting Siya to open the door but it was Kriti and when she looked at us, she smiled, a genuine one which reached her eyes.

"Good morning Sid" she said, making me shocked.

When I looked back at Sid, he was grinning from ear to ear.

"Come please" she said and dragged us to the dining hall.

Siya was making breakfast in the kitchen while we all were seated on the dining table.

Deciding to give them privacy, I headed to the kitchen but the sight in front of me just melted my heart.

There she was, making my favorite, aloo paratha with little flour on her hands and her cheeks.

Tip toeing, I made my way to the kitchen counter and hugged her from the back, keeping my hands around her waist and kissed on her temple.

"God Akash, you scared me" she said, turning around, keeping her hands on her chest which was heaving up and down.

"Sorry baby, I didn't mean to startle you. I just wanted to give you a surprise" I said, flicking her nose.

"Akash, please don't do it next time or I'll die of heart attack" she said.

"Please baby, don't say anything about dying" I said, keeping my palms on her mouth.

Resting my forehead on hers, I said "you're the most precious person in my life. I wouldn't trade you for the world. I'll never let anything happen to you. Promise me, you'll never talk about dying ever again."

"Promise" she said.

Taking a deep breath, I said "okay, now let's get back to work or we'll be late."

"Yes" she said, turning around.

"How may I help you madame" I said, bowing a little.

She laughed hard at my antics but then said "help me in filling up the stuffing in the dough, I'll meanwhile cook the rest of the parathas."

I nodded and tried filling up the stuffing as she said but it ended up going everywhere except getting filled in the dough.

Traitor stuffing.

"I can't do it" I said, whining.

"Oh god, let it be. I'll make it, meanwhile why don't you prepare orange juice? I hope you won't face any issues preparing it right?" she asked and I nodded like a child.

Preparing the breakfast in the kitchen, my mind was in some kind of dreamland like Siya and I would be married and we would be working the same way like we're working now, sharing every responsibility, be it professional or personal.

I am just waiting for the right time to approach her parents.

She's independent now, earning for herself. I am sure this would help us stand for ourselves in front of her parents.

I know, it's not going to be easy but we've decided to stay strong, for each other, together.

"Ready?" she asked, making me startled.

"Ye..yeah I am" I said.

"What were you thinking?" she asked me.

"Nothing, just our future" I said.

"You think we'll be able to convince my parents?" she asked, fidgeting with her fingers.

"We will convince them baby, don't worry. Just trust your Akash" I said, kissing her forehead.

"Wha...what if they don't agree?" she asked me.

"Be positive Siya. Never thing something that you don't to happen in real" I said.

Even though I was not sure what future holds, I had to encourage her and keep her motivated, for ourselves because I didn't want her to fall week.

"Hey love birds, we're hungry. Can we please get our breakfast" Kriti shouted from the dining hall.

"Yeah, we're coming" I yelled back and taking her hands in mine, we went to the dining table but the scene there made me shocked.

Kriti was on top of Sid, on the couch.

"What the heck" Siya said, her mouth agape.

"Are you both making out?" I asked, teasing them. "That too, so early in the morning?"

"No...no I...I just slipped and...landed on him" Kriti said, getting up.

"Ye..yeah. It's nothing like what you're thinking" Sid said, helping Kriti to stand up.

"Keep your excuses to yourself. We need to have our breakfast or else we'll be late" I said, rolling my eyes.

The breakfast was in silence and after Sid washed the dishes, we all went to office.
