Well I don't know about you all but I am enjoying myself a lot, writing this story.

Mohit fans, chapter dedicated to you all.

Mohit's POV

"Then we aren't renting this flat" I said and turned to Siya "Siya let's go." 

She was a little skeptical but nevertheless followed me.

When we were almost at the exit of the lobby, Siya called me "Mohit."

"Yes Siya, tell me" I asked, turning to her.

"Can I...can I talk to you alone?" she asked.

I quickly glanced at Kriti and she was looking down.

"Okay" I said and we went to the garden area of the society.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked her.

"I...I think we should rent this flat" she said.

I stared at her for a few seconds and told her the first thing that came to my mind "do you want to get back to Akash?" 

She was a little taken aback by my question but then said "you already know Mohit, it can't happen" and looked down.

"Siya, you already know about it, if you want to get back to him, I would be the one who'll be the happiest among all, after all you were the one who helped me realize my feelings for Samaira. You're the one because of whom I got a gem to cherish all my life but you know very well, if you move in with Kriti, she'll have to face Sid everyday which will leave her heartbroken again. I can't see her heartbroken and week" I said.

"I understand your concern as a brother Mohit but I really feel that Sid likes Kriti a lot" she said.

I just stared at her for a few seconds then said "if Sid would be in love with Kriti he would've never broken her heart."

She looked away and after few seconds said "I still love Akash but I broke his heart. You're the one who always say that I love him a lot, then why are you not trusting Sid?"

"You had a very strong reason to leave him, although I still don't approve of it, but there was no option left for you. What excuse dies Sid have?" I asked her.

Taking a deep breath, she said "Mohit, neither I nor Kriti ever had any conversation with Sid regarding this, nor Akash ever hinted me anything about it. If we don't know the fact doesn't mean we can predict anything."

"What do you suggest?" I asked after few minutes of silence.

"That we should give them a chance" she said.

I then glanced at Kriti and Siya followed my line of sight.

She was strolling and had a frown on her face.

"You know she was cheerful the whole day but after talking to Sid in lunch, she's a little gloomy" she said.

"Why?" I asked, looking at Siya.

"He was apologizing to her but she's a little stubborn and asked him to stay away from her" she said.

"I think it's better if they stay away from each other. He has already caused her lot of pain. I don't want her to suffer again" I said.

"You know Mohit, Kriti likes Sid a lot" she said.

"I know" I said, sighing "it's just that he has already causes her a lot of problems and she was a crying mess then. You and me handled her so we very well know what she went through only because of that asshole. I left him without confronting only because of you both otherwise I was ready to punch him in the guts. I..I am just afraid for her."   

I then looked at Siya and said "you're very strong Siya, that's why you were able to cope up with the circumstances around you but I am afraid, Kriti isn't that strong to suffer a heartbreak."  

"She is very strong Mohit, stronger than you think and my gut feeling says that Sid loves her, a lot" she said.

"So you want to act as a cupid for the two?" I asked her.

She eagerly nodded her head.

I chuckled and said "what if he isn't in love with her?"

"Then I'll make sure that he's never near her" she said.

"Kriti and you have always been my support system Mohit. I can never let anything bad happen to her, at least not in front of me. If I ever find out that Sid doesn't have any feelings for her, I'll make sure that he stays as far away from her as possible" she said.

"Even if there's a one percent chance of them having feelings for each other, I want to take the risk Mohit. My love...I don't know what it's fate is but whn it comes to Kriti and Sid, they both deserve happiness and we should make them realize their feelings for each other. May be they can have their happily ever after, like you" she said.

I glanced at Kriti one more time before turning back to her and said "I think we should discuss this with Samaira once. What do you suggest?" 

"Of course why not. She has always given us right advice, I think we should consider her opinion as well" she said.

"Okay, let me call her" I said and dialed her no.

"Yes boss" she picked in the first ring and said to me.

I just chuckled and said "were you waiting for my call?" 

"No actually I was just looking at our pics since we had the conversation today, I was missing you, a lot" she said.

"I was just kissing you when my phone rang" she said.

"How can you kiss me Ira?" I asked.

"I was kissing your photo, dumbo" she said in a duh tone.

"Oh" I said pretending to think.

"You know you're so sweet" I said and she replied "I know. Now tell me, why did you call? Are you missing me like I am missing you?" 

"Of course baby, I miss you a lot."

Siya had a small smile on her lips.

"Awwww....I miss you too" she said in a baby like voice.

"Okay you both, enough of your lovey dovey talks. Come to the main point Mohit" Siya said sternly.

"Of course yes" I said and put the phone on speaker. 

"Oh my god my favorite girl is here" Samaira squealed like a kid.

"Yes your favorite girl is here" Siya said and snatched the phone from me.

I just shake my head and look at them talking with each other. They are good friends and share each and every problem of their life with each other.

Samaira treats Siya and Kriti like little sisters and I am very happy that I got such a mature and sensible life partner for me.

"Ira di I hope we're not disturbing you, it must be quite early in the morning there in US" Siya said.

"Not at all Siya. I am always there for my favorite girls. Tell me what happened" she said.

"Actually Ira di, we were thinking of renting a flat" Siya said.

"Okay, so let me guess what the problem is. You don't know if you both will be able to manage the flat yourselves?" she said.

"No, that's not the problem. The problem is, the flat that we want to rent is just adjacent to the one in which Sid and Akash are living" Siya said.

The line went silent for a minute and Siya looked at me.

For a second I thought the line went dead but then I heard a loud squeal from the other end.

"Oh my god, oh my god, finally it is happening. I think I'll have to go to temple today. You know Siya, I've always wanted you both to come together and finally it is happening. I think I can invite both you and Akash to our wedding together. Oh my god now I don't need to conspire anything with Mohit in order to bring you both together. I am so so happy" she said and Siya's eyes went wide.

Hearing what she said I immediately snatched phone from her hand and went a little far away from her and said "baby, Siya isn't thinking to get back with Akash."

"She's not?" she asked after a few seconds.

"No and why did you've to sill the beans about the plans we discussed for them?" I asked.

"I...I thought that they both are reconsidering their relationship, that's why I thought" she trailed off.

"It's okay baby. The reason we called you is for something else. Please listen to what Siya says. she needs your opinion, it's about Kriti" I said.

"Okay baby, let me talk to her" she said and I went back to Siya.

"Here talk to her" I said and she looked at me suspiciously and taking the phone, she said "what are you both conspiring against me?"

"Nothing dear, I was just joking. Now tell me what important do you want to talk about?" Ira asked.

"Actually. I was thinking of renting the same flat that's adjacent to Sid and Akash. You know Kriti likes Sid a lot and today I saw Sid confessing this to her during lunch when they both were alone. What if Sid also has feelings for her and really wants a chance for her?" Siya said.

"Hmmm..well I've known Sid for four years and he never was any relationship with anyone and as far as I know, in his final year, he was only attached to Kriti and I saw him few times the way he looked at her, like she's the most precious person to him in the world. I always had a feeling that he liked her but I don't know why he acted so strange later with her.

I think when he saw her after so many years, may be wants to pursue her? May be he has finally realized his feelings for her" Ira said.

Siya glanced at me and said "so do you think we should act as a cupid for both of them?"

"Hmm...I think we can try" she said. "What do you think Mohit?" Ira asked me.

"I...I don't know. I just can't see my princess heartbroken" I said.

"Please trust Siya Mohit. I am very sure she won't let anything bad happen to Kriti. Moreover, I think Sid is a perfect match for her. Don't you think so?" she asked.

"Yes, he is but I am just afraid for her, what is he breaks her heart?" I asked.

"Simple, then you can break his bones. Even me and Siya will help you" she said.

I just chuckled and said "you know you're so cute."  

"I know" she said.

"On a serious note Mohit, I think you should give Kriti and Sid a chance to amend their friendship. I think they definitely deserve a chance to at least clear up their misunderstanding" she said.

I sighed and said "I think you're right."

"Good now, so it's settled then you both will be renting the flat and will let me know the update of their progress everyday" she said.

"Yes ma'am" Siya mock saluted and they both burst laughing.

After bidding our goodbyes and disconnecting the call I turned to Siya.

Siya hugged me and said "thank you for giving them a chance. They really deserve it."

I hugged her back and said "it's all right but one mistake from him and I am taking Kriti out of here."

"Of course" she said and broke the hug.

We the proceeded to Kriti.

"Princess, do you think we should rent this flat?" I asked her.

She glanced at Siya and said "I want to rent this flat bhaiya." 

"Why?" I asked her.

"I want Sid to know that he still doesn't affect me. He can go to hell for all I care" she said, scrunching her nose.

"So you want to show him that he doesn't have any place in your life?" I asked smiling.

"Of course bhaiya. I'll show him that he's not the only person who's unaffected. I can also be heartless, like he was to me. I want to treat him the same way he treated me, years ago. I'll make him taste his own medicine. What does he think of himself. He can't come to me after years and pretend like it wasn't his fault and nothing wrong happened between us" she said, all in one go, huffing.

"So just to show him off that you're fine, you want to be in front of him" I asked amused.

"Yes bhaiya" she said, determined.

I glanced at Siya and she had a small smile on her lips.

"Why are you smiling?" Kriti said, glaring at Siya.

"No...nothing" she said and gulped.

"You don't believe me right that I can be heartless and treat him the same way he treated me years ago?. Just wait and watch Siya, I'll show you, I can be heartless too" Kriti said.

"Of course, of course" she said.

"Better and don't forget, you've to keep encouraging me to make his life hell" she said.

"Yes Kriti I am always on your side. I'll always remind you to make his life living hell" Siya said, all the while she had a small smile on her lips.

"Hmm...what were you two discussing alone, without me?" she asked, eyeing both of us.

"Nothing important. I was explaining to Mohit that you want to make Sid's life hell for treating you so badly so we should try to get on his nerves and that's possible only when we are sound him 24*7" Siya said. "I was convincing him to let us rent tis flat." 

"Hmmm...so what have you decided bhaiya?" Kriti asked, turning to me.

"Whatever my princess wants" I said.

"Yayyyyy" she said and jumped on me.

"Thank you thank you thank you bhaiya" she said and I kissed her hair.

"Anything for my princess" I said.

So finally they'll be renting the same flat adjacent to Akash and Sid's.

Siya's initial plan is to only get Sid and Kriti together, so she's taking this huge step but do you think fate will play it's game for Akahs and Siya as well?
