We sit in silence.

I lightly shake my head at Phoenix's reckless driving. It might get him in serious trouble one day!

I look over at the third extremely handsome man. From the diamond earring on his left ear, to his nose stud.

Fucking hell, Callie, what's wrong with you?!

He's dressed a lot more casual than the other men but he still manages to look good with his black jeans and leather jacket.

"Phoenix?" I question as he drives me home.

"Hmm." He quickly glances at me before looking back at the road.

"I'm sorry for missing our coffee date." I play with my fingers in my lap. "The boys said you were really upset, I promise I won't miss it next week."

"I was not upset." He huffs in denial and I look at him in the corner of my eye to see his jaw clenched. "Why were you late?"

This time I huff and turn to look out the window. If I stall for two minutes then I'll be home.

"Callie."

Ignore

"Callie."

One more minute

We soon pull up outside my flat and I quickly thank Phoenix before reaching the door β€” but then he locks it and grabs hold of my face, turning me to look at him.

"Three years I've known you, Callie and you always know how to be a disobedient little brat." My eyes widen at his words.

"Very professional of you, Phoenix." I shove his hand away and reach over to unlock the door. I climb out of the car and then turn to face him one last time.

"Thanks for the ride and for your information I'm not a disobedient little brat, Phoenix. I don't have to explain myself to you or the others." I slam the door and make my way inside. "Idiot." I mutter.

The following day I'm walking into the office. No coffee this time because personally I don't think they deserve one.

I go to check on Poppy but furrow my eyebrows when I see she's clearly upset.

"Poppy, what's wrong?" I walk round the desk and reach forward to stroke her tear-stained face.

"Sophia and I had an argument this morning, it's nothing, don't worry about it, gorgeous." She sniffles, tucking a strand of her long blonde hair behind her ear.

I furrow my eyebrows, grabbing a tissue and lightly dab away her tears.

"Come to my office." I grab her hand and lead her to my office. "Take a seat." I point to the sofa and slowly close the door.

I get her a glass of water before taking a seat next to her.

"I'm really struggling to tell my parents that I'm a lesbian. Sophia thinks I'm ashamed of her, I've met her parents but she hasn't met mine and I feel terrible, Callie, because I haven't told her that my parents don't know about me." I wrap my arms around her as she begins to cry.

"I'm sure she'll understand if you tell her, Poppy. You're both madly in love." I tell her, stroking her back.

Poppy's parents are very strict and religious people. If they were to find out about Sophia being a lesbian they would for sure disown her β€” their only child.

"I love you, so much and you know I'll always be here for you." I whisper and she tightens her arms around me.

"I love you too, Callie." She sniffles and pulls away from me. "Can we go for drinks after work to cheer me up?" I grin and nod my head.

"How can I say no?" We both stand up and Poppy sorts herself out before walking to the door. Before she leaves she turns to face me and gives me a sheepish smile. "Your bosses are in a bad mood so I would stay clear." And then she's gone.

I frown.

The phone at my desk begins to ring and I answer straight away.

"Sunshine!" Everest's beams from the other line. "Come to our office." He then hangs up.

I take a minute before exiting my office and making my way down the corridor to the men's office. I knock and then slowly enter.

They're all sat behind their desks β€” well accept for Phoenix who is sat on top of his.

"You wanted to see me?" I tilt my head at them and begin to feel my body heat up at the intense stares from the three of them. "Actually before you start, Phoenix, I would like an apology."

He looks at me, his face void of emotion as usual. I raise my eyebrows, waiting for him to say sorry.

"What's happened?" Miller questions, looking at the two of us with furrowed eyebrows. "Did he hurt you, Callie?" He tenses and I shake my head.

Phoenix throws him a glare.

"He called me a disobedient little brat when he was dropping me home last night." I throw him an accusing look and he shakes his head, looking down at his feet.

"You can't treat our employees like that, Phoenix." Everest throws his hands up in the air and I nod my head in agreement with him.

"Exactly!" I clap my hands. "No coffee dates for a month because of that." Phoenix's head shoots up and he frowns at me.

"I'm sorry." He mumbles before storming out of the office.

I sigh and look at Miller and Everest.

"What's going on with you three lately?" I question.

They've been acting very different around me the past few days and I'm starting to find it a little strange.

"Nothings going on with us." Everest's eyes widen. "We just wanted to make sure you're okay, sunshine."

"I'm fine. Just tell me what you want me to do today." I sigh, not bothering to argue with them.

"We have a meeting at three, just make sure you're ready, my love." Miller smiles gently and I slowly nod my head. "I also was wondering if you still want to come round to ours for dinner tonight? It been a while since you have."

"That was only because that meeting had finished late and I was starving and I'm busy tonight anyway." I shrug and Miller gives me a small smile nodding his head.

"That's fine, love, another time. I'll let you go now." I nod my head and slowly turn to leave the office.

"They invite you to dinner round their house!" Poppy exclaims with wide eyes, nearly choking on her drink. "Callie, those men basically are evil to everyone in that place apart from you. I've seen the looks they give you as you walk by. They're in love."

I let out a loud laugh at Poppy's words.

"Shut up, Poppy." I lightly shove her and she grins. "Anyway, I'm thinking of leaving." Her smile falls.

"What?" She whispers, with wide eyes.

"I really want to travel and I've managed to save a lot of money to go travelling for a year." I smile proudly.

"If that's what you want, gorgeous, I'll support you with anything you want to do." She kisses my cheek and I smile at her. "I stand by what I said though. They're all in love with you."

I playfully roll my eyes.

However, my whole body freezes when I look over her shoulder and see Everest at the bar doing a shot. He looks around a bit before his blue eyes land on me.

A smirk etches onto his face.

"Fucking shit."

He then slowly makes his way over to us.

"Hello, my little sunshine." He slurs, taking the seat next to me.

Great, he's drunk!
