This is the laser tag day mentioned in the bowling chapter...

There was nothing to do in the house. Everyone was sick of watching movies and going out to the movies, so they wanted to try something new.

"We need a new activity to do," Jazmine says. Everyone agreed.

"What yall wanna do?" Cindy asks.

"Play basketball?" Riley suggests.

"Hearing you bitch and moan all the way home isn't something I feel like going through today," Donte says. Riley gives him the finger.

"We could do go-karts," Jada suggests.

"I don't feel like getting whip lash," Jazmine says, glaring over at Huey.

"What the hell you look over here for?" He questions.

"I wanna go do laser tag," Caesar says.

"Ohhh, that sounds fun!" Jada says.

"Yea, let's do that!" Riley agrees.

And so, they were off.

They all get to Laser Arts (I made this up) a laser tag place not too far from where they live.

"So how we gon set this up?" Riley asks.

"What you mean?" Cindy questions.

"Teams. Who gon be on what team?"

"We could do teams of 4. Girls vs. boys?" Jazmine suggests.

"That's so cliche," Jada says.

"I wanna do teams of 3 but we won't have even teams," Riley says.

"Well, I don't really feel like playing so I'll sit this one out," Donte says.

"Yea, same. Ya'll can go have fun," Cindy says.

The settled the teams. Huey, Riley, and Jada on one team and Jessica, Jazmine, and Caesar on another.

The referee explained the rules before allowing the two teams to go out onto the mini battle field.

Donte and Cindy watched from the monitor outside and bought food.

"Alright," Jazmine says. "We're up against gang members."

"Huey technically isn't in a gang but I'll let you have it," Caesar says. Jazmine rolls her eyes,

"These Freemans are stealthy and have great aim. We gotta stick together and don't let them get us one by one."

"You think we'll able to win?" Jessica asks. "I mean, I've seen all three of them with guns. They move quick as hell, even with the big ass gear on."

"We can do it!" Jazmine replies, showing more enthusiasm than needed. "Go team!"

"Go team," Jessica and Caesar say plainly.

The buzzer went off and they had 10 minutes to rack up enough points to win.

The small team honestly felt uneasy. Being up against all three Freemans was scary. They didn't know when or where they'd pop up.

PEW!

Jazmine's back flashed indicating she was hit. Caesar followed where the laser was but didn't see anyone there. Another sound went off but this time Jessica's shoulder flashed.

"Oh hell nah," Caesar said. "This big ass course and we can't see none of them!"

"We need to move, Jazmine," Jessica says, "Now!"

They all start moving around the course, trying to find anyway of even getting near any of the Freemans.

"Look!" Jessica pointed, there was a shadow running away. "Follow it!"

They followed the shadow which left them to a dead end.

"Ya'll dumber than I thought," Riley cackled. They heard him but they didn't see him.

"They were dumb the moment they agreed to face us," Jada giggles.

"Game over," Huey said.

Laser noises sounded and Jazmine, Jessica, and Caesar's bodies flashed continuously.  They were getting shot at but they didn't know where the Freemans were at. Caesar looked up, noticing Jada hanging from the top of the course. How the fuck did she manage to climb up there?

Jessica shot up, Jada moving before the laser could hit her. She showed Caesar and pointed to the direction Jada went. Caesar followed, Jazmine growing upset that he left.

"I think Riley's shooting from a corner somewhere," Jessica whispers, going in the direction her gut was telling her.

"Jess, no!" Jazmine whisper yelled. Being alone in a dark room with evil Freemans was her worst nightmare.

"Oh Jazmine," A low voice said. Jazmine squeaked, running away. She turned every corner until her breath ran low. "My poor Jazmine."

The strawberry blonde looked up to see her boyfriend walking towards her, she raised her gun.

"Step away!" She warned.

"You'd shoot me?" Huey questions. "The love of you life?"

"Don't you start that shit with me," Jazmine says, trying not to give in.

"But why not?"

"Huey, please."

Huey walked close to her, his hands roamed her body. Jazmine went limp at his touch. Huey pulled her close, whispering in her ear.

"You like that baby?"

"Mhmm."

Huey chuckled, which turned Jazmine on more.

"We'll have to resume this later then," He says. Jazmine's eyes were shut but she heard the PEW sound and opened them. Her stomach was flashing and Huey was gone.

"THAT PIECE OF SHIT!"

Caesar was running in the direction Jada was going. She reached a wall and dropped down. There wasn't anywhere for her to go.

"I got you!" Caesar says, pointing his gun. He was about to shoot but Jada kicked his gun, making him shoot the air, and slid in between his legs. She got up and pointed her gun at his back. "Come on, baby. Don't do me like that."

"Awe, I know my love. But a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do."

"You would shoot me? But I thought you loved me," Caesar voice changed to the sexy one he knew Jada loved. Jada's gun dropped a bit but she put it back up.

"Don't you try that shit with me."

"But baby," Baby was Jada's weak spot.

"No."

"Baby-"

"No-"

"Baby."

"No-"

"Bab-"

Jada pointed the gun in the air and fired. She pointed it back at Caesar and gave him a stern look.

"You're not about to fool me with your pelvic sorcery," She says.

"Fine, fine," Caesar gives up.

"But," Jada pulls his body armor (or whatever the hell you call that) and smirks. "You can help me."

Cindy and Donte were enjoying the buffet of food they bought. They had chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, french fries, and sodas on the table watching everything go down.

"I knew Riley's ass was up to no good when he said teams of three," Cindy says, munching on her chicken tenders.

"Yea," Donte agreed. "I'm good."

They watch as the Freeman's points were getting higher and higher by the second.

"They lost," Donte said, "Might as well give up now."

Jessica was chasing Riley, eventually catching up to him. She shot his shoulder, gaining a point.

"Damn, yo aim is good," Riley admits.

"I used to do archery," Jessica says.

"Yo ass is quick too. Who would've thought socially awkward would be good at this kinda thing."

"Shut up, big mouth."

Socially awkward and big mouth were nicknames the two had for each other.

Riley raised his hands in the air.

"Fine, you got me."

PEW!

Jessica looked at her glowing shoulder. She looked behind her and saw Caesar with his gun raised.

"Ceez, what the hell. Riley's right there!"

"He knows," Jada says, smile on her face. "He's on our side now."

"You turned to the dark side?"

"This my wife," Caesar shrugs, "I had no choice."

"Not you Caesar," Jessica says sadly. She had no idea where Jazmine was and at this point, the Freeman's had won.

"TIME'S UP!" The referee says. Jessica groans as Jada and Riley smiles proudly.

"HUEY!" Jada calls. He comes up from a corner with Jazmine. They both looked a little bit rough and everyone gave a confused look.

"What the hell was ya'll doin?" Riley questions.

They say nothing, just walk out. Everyone else follows, looking at the feast Cindy and Donte had.

"Ya'll niggas had fun?" Cindy asked.

"No," Jessica groans, sitting with her boyfriend.

"I know you didn't. I'm talking to these freaks over here."

Everyone looked at Jazmine and Huey who looked away blushing.

"You must've thought nobody saw ya'll," Donte says. He pointed to the screen that showed the arena. A bright red showed on both their faces.

"And I thought porn was good," Cindy laughed.
