tw// anxiety

_

I anxiously sat on the couch, my leg bouncing in place as I held the phone in my hand.

It's just your landlord you anxious idiot, stop getting nervous about small interactions.

I mentally scolded myself before standing up and walking to my kitchen.

I opened the fridge, reaching for a bottle of water before walking back towards the couch.

I looked at the RJ pillow across from me before looking back at my phone.

Two more minutes.

Seconds passed by quickly as I scrolled on Twitter to calm myself down.

A knock on the door startled me as I  stood up and quickly opened the door.

"Hello ma'am." I bowed quickly as the woman smiled at me.

"I actually have some news for you, I won't be collecting the rent money today. Someone bought the building from me."

I stared in disbelief as the womans smile turned into a frown.

"Well more like they forced me to hand it over with a ridiculous amount of money.." She laughed nervously as my anxiety rose.

"So you don't own the building anymore?"

She shook her head.

"I'm afraid not, you'll have to mail the rent money to the new owner, I believe the name was Han.." She thought for a few seconds, my stomach dropping in the end.

"Oh yes! It was Han Co., the popular company that moved it's headquarters to the States?"

I could feel my body tense and freeze as the woman spoke.

"O-okay."

"Is everything alright dear?" She looked worried as I suddenly felt as if it was hard to breathe.

"Yes I'm okay, thank you for everything for the last few months."

"You were a nice girl, it's upsetting that I don't own the building anymore. I hope things work out for you Yejin!" Her smile was soft as I nodded.

She bowed before turning, as she walked down the stairs, I closed the door and fell to the floor.

My back hit the back of the door as I began to feel sick.

"How the hell did he find me.. What does he want-" I buried my head in my hands as a tear escaped my eye.

"No please I don't need to cry over this-" I struggled to stand up as my body did not want to cooperate with me.

My breaths were uneven as I sat down on the couch.

I need to leave, but there's no way I'll be able to find a new apartment in time..

My thoughts ran wild as the panic in me never went away.

My first thought was to call Jin but I quickly changed my mind as my feet moved on their own.

I pulled out some flat boxes from under my bed and began collecting the few things around my room to put inside.

After an hour, all of my items were stored in boxes while my important stuff was laid out across my bed.

My hands rested on my hips as I stared at my bed.

I have to stay here for a couple more days probably, but any longer wouldn't be safe.

My thoughts were interrupted as I heard a doorknob turn from behind me.

My eyes widened as Jin curiously stared back at me.

His eyes switched from me to my room as 3-4 boxes were piled by me.

"Boxes? What happened?"

Words wouldn't leave my mouth as I hugged him, he immedietly hugged back, probably already knowing the answer.

Horrible memories from that night flashed through my mind, I let go of him slowly, knowing that this time that wouldn't be our last hug.

"His crazy ass bought my apartment building, which means he knows where I live."

Jin's eyebrows furrowed as anger was visible in his features.

"What does he even want from you? Why can't he just leave you alone."

I shrugged while sitting on my bed.

"I have no clue what he wants, I also don't know how he found where I lived, it's almost been a year since I moved here and I even used a fake first name with the contracts, only my landlord knew my real name and I know for a fact she wouldn't tell anyone." I crossed my arms as I felt the bed dip beside me.

"Apparently he's super sick and in the hospital so honestly why is he doing all of this."

I could feel Jin's stare burn into my side as my eyebrows furrowed in thought.

My eyes suddenly shifted towards the clock as my eyes widened.

"Shit I forgot about work-"

"Do you think it's safe to go? What if he knows where you work too?" Jin stopped me in my tracks with his words.

"That's a possibility, but there's no way in hell he would make a scene publicly."

He nodded slowly before I turned around towards him.

His eyes were soft as he looked at me.

"Please don't stress out about this, everything will be okay."

He pecked my lips softly before looking back at me.

I nodded as a reassuring smile made its way to his lips.

"Want me to drive you?"

I nodded as he smiled towards me.

He grabbed my hand before we began walking towards the door.

As we got in his car, a sigh escaped my lips.

"I think you should stay at the dorms with me until you find a new apartment, staying here is dangerous." He spoke first, causing my eyes to turn towards him.

"Are you sure?"

He nodded, his eyes focused on the road in front of us, giving me a view of his beautiful side profile. This man was definitely sculpted by the gods.

Without arguing, I nodded softly. I could see a small smile form on his lips as we pulled into the back parking lot.

"Be careful, and call me when you get off."

His lips landed on mine one last time before I nodded and got out of the car.

I walked inside the building and was greeted by Miyoung and Jiyeon before putting my nametag on.

"Good morning~ Was that Seokjin?" Jiyeons eyebrows wiggled as she grinned at me.

"Maybe~" A small smile made its way to my face as the friendly environment I walked into boosted my mood a little.

"They know?" Miyoungs eyes widened as I nodded.

"Wait Miyoung knew before us?!" Suho interrupted us as he placed dirty plates by the sink.

"She only knew a month before you."

The two giggled as I turned towards Miyoung.

"They found out by accident, I thought it would just be Jin picking up food but Jungkook and Jimin tagged along without masks-" I spoke with a sheepish smile as Miyoung scoffed.

"How wreckless, yet again our restaurant would be booming with business if news coverage got out that half of BTS ate food from here~" Her grin was wide as I heard Minho scoff behind us.

Laughs erupted in the kitchen before the front bells dinged.

Suho and Jiyeon quickly got back to work as Minho continued cooking food.

The smile on my face became smaller as everyone was now distracted with their jobs.

I just need to get through today.

☆彡

Work ended surprisingly quickly, leaving me to be picked up by Jin.

It took a few minutes of convincing until I finally agreed to stay at the dorms with him for the time being.

As I held a bag with some clothes and simple necessities, I walked out of my empty bedroom to see Jin waiting on my couch.

Once he heard my footsteps, he stood up and looked at me.

"Ready to go?" He asked softly, a reassuring smile on his face.

I nodded before he took the bag from my hands. He walked in front of me as I locked my apartment door.

The drive to the dorms felt quick as it was full of comfortable silence, Jin's free hand never leaving mine.

As he opened the door, several eyes greeted us.

"Hi Yejin~!" Jimin and Hobi greeted me happily as Jungkook softly waved at me.

I smiled at the three before they gave a confused look to the backpack on Jin's back.

"She's gonna stay here until we find her a new apartment so treat her well or I'll never buy food again~" Jin's smile was sarcastic but intimidating as the members quickly nodded.

"That means we can play Overwatch more often!" Jungkook and Taehyung cheered happily as Yoongi and Namjoon were excited to have another chef in the house.

Their voices got quieter as Jin pulled me down the hallway, once we got in his room, he set the bag down on the floor and sat on his bed.

"I could have carried that~"

"No way~." His stubborn smile greeted me as I sat next to him softly.

We made eye contact for a few seconds before I felt his hand fall onto my thigh.

"I can tell you're still tense, don't stress about anything right now. I'll handle anything that you have trouble with."

I studied his facial expression, it was softer then I've ever seen it, no hint of tease or sarcasm anywhere. I badly wanted to say I could handle it myself since he was always busy but my mouth stayed shut.

After a few seconds, his soft smile suddenly shifted into a smirk.

He stood up, his hand leaving my thigh as he let out a sigh.

"Good girl."

And he's back.

A smug grin was on his face as sarcasm was laced in his voice, he grabbed the bag before walking towards his closet.

"Hey-"

"Nope, you can't change your mind, don't even think about it." He spoke with his back facing me as he cleared a space in his closet for my clothes to go.

His head turned and he made eye contact with me, I closed my mouth instantly as his eyes pierced into my own.

He let out a small chuckle before turning back around.

He's so mean.

I watched in silence as he hung up some of my clothes, leaving the rest of the stuff in the backpack as it was placed nicely against the wall.

I placed my phone on the bedside table before laying my head against the soft pillow.

A sigh escaped my lips as the few seconds of silence was nice.

I flinched as the bed dipped behind me, I instantly felt an arm snake around my waist before feeling a chest press up against my back.

Jin's lips lingered above the nape of my neck as I could feel his warm breaths.

My heart felt fuzzy and warm, all of my worries suddenly slipping away from my mind for several minutes.

"Seokjin?"

I heard a hum as his hair tickled the back of my neck.

"Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me, I would do anything for you."

His voice was quiet as he spoke, causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach.

His lips landed on my neck softly as he left gentle pecks over and over until he snuggled his face back into my neck.

The feeling I felt with him was so safe and secure, our bond was truly one of a kind and absolutely nothing could break it.

I love him.
