=========================

How did everything go wrong?

I thought that no one had noticed us, that we were going to succeed. but look at where we are now.

I'm trying my best to keep quiet, but it's not easy when your teammate has been caught.

I hid behind a wall, eavesdropping on their conversation. Midoriya, I wasn't sure how, messed up big time. Right now, he was kneeling in front of her, tied and beaten up pretty badly.

"Midoriya," she says, her voice soft yet full of excitement.

"Isn't it amazing that we get to see each other again?"

I could hear some shuffling and a muffled reply. I whipped out a tiny mirror from my pocket, trying to see what's going on.

The brown-haired female leant back on the chair she sat on, crossing her legs.

"It's a shame that we had to end up like this. Don't you remember that you told me you loved me?" She asked sarcastically.

Silence.

She smiled.

She took out the pistol that was stowed away in her pocket, walking up to Midoriya. My face paled, fearing that the worst was going to happen.

However, she instead uses the gun to lift his chin, forcing him to look her in the face. She stares at him, whispering, "Don't worry, honey, I'll have your heart on a platter really soon."

I feared that she'd pull the trigger. I held my breathe.

She doesn't.

"Might you recall, I've got a small family business. They wouldn't like a liar like you, would they?"

Midoriya recoiled, trying to move away from her.

"They'll bust your kneecaps. Oh, they'll bust your kneecaps."

"Doesn't that sound exciting?"

She stood up straight, folding her arms.

She snarled, "I'll always remember you getting cold feet. I'll remember the day you left me. I thought you'd always stay by me like a true partner."

"Because what you're doing is a straight up crime!" He shouted.

"You call it crime, I call it smart family business."

She puts in six bullets, cocking the gun. It looked as if she were contemplating something.

God, I can't believe the soft, smiley girl I went to school with turned into this person.

"Midoriya, there's still time, you know."

She stared absentmindedly at the gun, admiring it.

"Together I know we'll go so far," she tells him, "I'll call off the guys with the crowbars too."

She looks back at him. "So, why don't you just come back to me?"

Midoriya shook his head violently.

"Are you crazy? Your so called 'family business' is, like I said, a crime! You must be delusional to think that I'd join you!"

The female sighed.

"It's such a shame that you became such an issue. You were a real valuable asset. At least it'd be a loss for both sides."

My face paled. No. I knew what was going to happen.

Yet, I couldn't stop the inevitable.

"Dear Midoriya, I'll miss you!" She smiled, clearly deranged.

She raises the gun to his head, not even letting him say a word.

My ear was ringing. I stopped looking as soon as she cocked her gun. Hands over my mouth, I tried to stop myself from shaking.

I glanced slightly to my right, noticing an all might keychain. It's once pristine exterior was now tainted red.

Oh fuck.

it was dead silent now.

"y/n!"

My eyes widened.

"I know you're behind that wall! won't you come out now? i won't bite."

Uraraka's voice was full of malice.

I can't go out there.

But there was no way out.

I stood up shakily, stepping away from the wall.

I faced the smiling girl.

I didn't bother looking down.
