The next day I take Austin around the city.

When we got up we had breakfast down stairs a the hotel before we got dressed.

He had brought some clothes that I had left back home. Which left me in a tank top, jean shorts and cowgirl boots.

No really that was the only pair of shoes I left back in Georgia. So here I was walking around the city in my worn out cowgirl boots and shorts that showed the bottoms of my butt cheeks.

Did I mention I didnt have a bra?

Even though I wanted to spend time with Austin and show him around before he left I wanted this day to be over with.

I needed to get out of these clothes.

His flight leaves at nine tonight and it's currently five p.m. We still had two hours to kill before he wanted to be at the airport.

We have done a lot of things today. I showed him where the agency is, and the place Dez and I usually get our breakfast.

Then I showed him this record store I found one time I went out exploring. It's kind of behind some shops if you weren't seeking it out it would be over looked.

After that I took him to the grill. He said the food there was fine.

I showed him where my apartment building was as well. Then we went to this art museum.

There was one painting I loved. There was something about the colors specifically that drew me to it.

I wanted to know who painted it but the signature was just initials. C.B.

I went to ask someone who worked there who that was but Austin was bored so we left.

"We should go to Andi's Pizza." I say as we cross the street. The air was getting slightly chilly and as we already covered I was in a tank top with no bra.

Austin looks down at me, "You cold?" I nod and he peals his jacket off giving it to me.

I put it on instantly warming up.

We cross one more street and enter Andi's Pizza.

"Hey Ava." Nora says from behind the counter.

Most of the time I've been here in the past month she's been working in front. Usually I come here with the group or sometimes with just Desiree.

"Where is everyone else tonight?" She asks as Austin scans the menu.

"Oh back at the apartment." I point to Austin, "This is my boyfriend Austin. He's here for my birthday actually."

Nora beams, "Oh happy birthday dear." I thank her and order.

"And what would you like?" She asks Austin.

He looks at her, back to the menu, then back to her. "Can two slices of your meat lovers?" He asks and she puts it down.

Austin pays, we grab out pizza and sit by the window.

"So you come here often?" He asks and I nod. "Yeah you're actually sitting in River's seat right now." I point out.

The booth sits three per side and there are about eight of us. Most of the time though Luca, Cole, and Spencer aren't here so the five of us fit.

River and I sit closest to the window. Desiree sits beside me across from Kai and Ashlynn sits beside Desiree.

Austin looks down at his pizza, "You talked a lot about River today. Are you closer with him than the rest of the guys?" He asks and I shrug taking a bite of my pizza.

"Why?" He asks and I swallow the bite.

"Well Luca is rarely around. Spencer and Cole spend time between here and Alabama. And Kai and I don't have that much in common." I say honestly.

"I just don't get why you two are so close."

"We aren't that close. I mean I hardly know much about him, he's not a big talker."

Texting River I had learned a little bit more than the fact he has three first names as his full name. And that he's a vegetarian.

He's left handed which I actually discovered watching videos of their band play. He's read all of the Harry Potter books. When the band started he was fourteen. Oh and he likes blueberry pancakes.

"Don't you think it's weird that you're trying to be his friend when clearly he doesn't want to be yours."

I drop the slice of pizza that is in my hand down onto the plate. Not going to lie that comment stung.

"He said he wanted to be friends Austin, like I said he's just not a big talker." I say trying to remind myself that Austin is wrong.

Austin shrugs taking a bite from his pizza, "I told you before sugar guys like him only want one thing from you." My brows furrow.

Guys like him? What does that mean?

"He's a good guy Austin trust me if he made a move you'd know." And that was true.

I hated the idea of infidelity. If you wanted to be with someone else break up with whoever you are with. People who claimed they had no choice but to cheat disgust me.

River and I are strictly friends.

"Ok." He says and we eat in silence for a while before he speaks again.

"Your parents actually wanted me to talk about something with you." He says and I look up from my pizza.

"Your mom wanted me to remind you that the school needs to know whether you will be attending this fall by July eighteenth." He says and I nod slowly.

"Ok?"

"So have you decided to come home yet?"

I shake my head, "I'm not moving back home."

He goes to say something else, probably argue that I should come home. Before he has a chance however Nora makes her way over to our table.

"Would you two like any desserts? It's on the house." She says and I shake my head, "I'm good Nora thank you." She smiles at us.

"You know Ava fits in here so well. When I see her and her friends here I can see how happy she is." Nora says, her eyes on Austin.

"Well thank you guys for coming in, I hope you have a nice night. I gotta go clock out now." She says turning towards the back.

We finish up dinner before walking down to the frozen yogurt shop.

After that we go back to the hotel so Austin can get his things. I give him back his jacket since he'll probably need it on the plane. Then he gets in an uber to take him to the airport.

"I'll miss you sugar." He says kissing my cheek before shutting the door.

I call my own uber heading back to the apartment.

When I get there I notice everyone is there minus Spencer and Cole.

I knew that after last night they would be heading to Alabama. I honestly don't understand how they have so much money to fly back and forth.

Desiree says the contract they have or whatever makes them a lot of money. I don't quite get how that works.

"Oh you're back early." Desiree says as I walk over to the fridge to grab a water bottle.

"Yeah his flight is at nine and he wanted to get there early to check in." I say unscrewing the cap.

"Why are you dressed like trailer trash?" Ash asks and I hear Dez tell her to shut up.

I slip off the boots before going to sit down beside Ashlynn on the couch.

"It's basically the only clothes I left back home." I say placing the bottle on the coffee table.

Dez flips over on the chair.

"So how was time with the boyfriends?" Ash asks and I shrug, "It was good I guess."

Desiree snorts, "No we need details babe. How was the sex after a month and a half apart?"

My face flushes and I look down at my fingers.

"Did you guys not....?" Desiree trails off and I look at her shaking my head.

Kai boo's, "If I had a girlfriend who looked like you and hadn't seen her in almost two months I'd be all over that." He says and Ash rolls her eyes, "Classy." She mutters.

"I'm sure it's just the jet lag." Desiree tries to defend but there must be something on my face that makes Ash say what she says next.

"Oh my god you guys have never done it have you?" She says her eyes widening.

I think that is the most emotion I have ever heard in her voice before. Besides anger and annoyance.

I shake my head feeling embarrassment wash over me.

It has nothing to do with being a nineteen year old virgin and everything to do with the fact that there are four people sitting here having this conversation with me.

Well River isn't saying anything but he can obviously hear it.

"Wait haven't you guys been together for like ever? Does that mean that you're a..?" Desiree trails off again and I want to just go hide in my room.

I feel like I'm in high school right now with this conversation.

"I have been living amongst a saint." Ashlynn says and Desiree and Kai laugh.

I bite my bottom lip, "It's not that big of a deal." I say softly.

"True but like we've covered you two have been together forever and yet you guys haven't done it. Don't you think that's suspicious?" Ashlynn asks, her tone serious.

I shake my head, "He wants to wait until marriage."

Ash snorts, "Thats bullshit. There is no way that guy is just holding everything in. He's probably-"

"Ash." River says, it almost comes out as a warning.

She stops talking but I don't think it's from the tone. I think it's because he actually talked.

When we went shopping she had told me that he never speaks to her. If he does it's just in acknowledgment that he knows she's there.

"And he speaks." She says, a smirk on her face. Then she looks at Kai and Desiree.

They both also give her a warning look.

She rolls her eyes, "What? I am just saying what everyone else is thinking."

What is everyone thinking?

I stand suddenly feeling like I need to be alone.

"I'm tired we woke up at like seven this morning. Goodnight." I say not looking at anyone as I make my way to the room.

"Seriously Ash." I hear Kai says as I shut the door.

I just need to sleep.
