I looked myself on the mirror and smiled widely , my cheek bones are hurting because I can't stop smiling all day long.

This morning when I followed my dad to the office , Karen my secretary gave me a light blue envelope. She said it was send for me and I have to opened it as I received it.

I opened that envelope and guess what? Rose sent me a ticket to the ball and a letter to let me know about it. She's so lovely and just so kind , oh man. After I got that letter , I excuse myself to go shopping.

Picking the best dress to impress the one and only Luke , I got a really beautiful light pink dress with a flower detailings on the middle. It has a slit on the left side so it can reveal my long legs nicely.

I braid the upper half of my hair and curl loosely for the below half. Leaving me have elegant look to it. Taking my favorite light pink stilletos.

Wearing my flower earings to complete the look and some cute rings. I smiled widely. I took the ticket and put it on my clutch , ready to go.

Walked downstairs and saw my parents talking in the dining room. I walked to them

"Mom dad I'm going okay?" I said

"Hailey.. we already talked about this" My dad sighed and I just smiled. Bid my goodbyes to them and got inside my car. I use my driver because I won't drive when I'm wearing a dress

I closed my eyes thinking so many scenarios that Luke will react when I come. All of them are bad scenarios and yeah I predicted them because I don't want get my hopes up.

As I arrived at the venue , I walked out and walked to the stairs and straight to the ballroom. Giving the staff my ticket and she gave me a small red bracelete. I wore it and walked in.

"Hailey!" I turned to my right and saw Rose smiling , I quickly walked to her

"Thankyou.. for the ticket"

"You're welcome , sorry if I gave it to you on the day of the ball"

"It's okay.. really" I smiled and suddenly she gestured someone to come.

"Hailey , this is Sophia Celastio. Aaron's wife and you know Janet and Angel right?" She introduced me to Sophia and I shake her hand.

"The boys are all sitting at the table there" Angel pointed and my eyes followed her direction. I saw Luke looking at Ken and they're talking intensely. He's wearing a full formal suit , looking so handsome as ever.

"They don't know about this" Janet said

"Thankyou for helping me" I said and they chuckled

"I was in your position.. falling in love but he ignored me" Angel said

"You're beautiful Mrs. No- Angel" I still not used to it. They asked me to call them by their names

"Look at yourself , you're beautiful as well. A red head , it's your charm" She smiled

"Let's go to them" Rose announced

"Luke might be cold to new people.. so please just understand him" Janet warned and I nodded

"Thankyou"

"Welcome" She smiled and we walked to their table. Sebastian notice me and told Luke about it , because Luke's eyes land on me. His eyes turn cold

"Hello" I smiled to all of them and they smiled back except Luke. He still looking at me with his cold eyes. Suddenly Janet took my hand and I looked at her weirdly.

Janet eyed Angel and Angel immediately pulled me away and pretend to take drinks.

"Change" She gave me her yellow bracelete and I looked at it weirdly

"For?"

"Luke has the yellow one so if the colors match , you have to dance together" Angel said and gave me the yellow bracelete. I hand her the red one

"So you guys have to dance with the people wh-"

"We're not.. you know that boys can kill someone if they're jealous so I'm not risking to lose a life today" Sophia answered and I nodded

"He will notice this" I said

"He's stupid so chill" Rose blurted , of course she said that. She's his sister. We talked for a moment but my eyes sometimes checked on Luke. He's talking to the boys

"Yes... the announcement" Janet squealed and we all looked at the stage to wait for the MC to read the announcement. Angel's right , the person who has a same color as us have to dance together.

I walked to their table and take a sit beside Luke. I turned to him and show my yellow bracelete. I showed to his face but he won't even look at me. All he did was looked straight and ignoring me

"Luke , I'm your partner for the dance" I stated for the fifth time but still he ignored me. I'm starting to get annoy here. I take his hand and hold his hand really tightly. He looked at our hands coldly and then he looked up to me.

"Let it go Holly"

"No , let's go dance. Oh and it's Hailey" I said

"I don't want to" He said coldly and looked away again

"Why are you so cold and annoying?" I asked , I tried to pull him from his seat but it's just useless. He suddenly roughly let go his hand from my grip.

"Go away red" He stated and now I'm starting to get piss.

So you want to be cold and ignore me like I never exist Luke? So this is how you play your games?

"Let's dance Luke.. you don't want to dance because you can't or what?" I asked and giving a little hint of teasing tone in it

"I'm not a fool red"

"Who says that Luke?" I asked and he turned to me

"Go away will you? I'm starting to get sick by seeing your face" He said coldly and that doesn't stop me from trying. Sorry Luke , my heart is made of steel

"What if I don't want to? I will stick to you like a bread with jam" I stated and he scoffed

"Don't test me Harley"

"Rose is right.. you are stupid. You're a successful businessman but you can't even remember one name" I said that make him glared at me more.
