I had a hard time falling asleep that night due to the pain that lingered in my stomach. The morning after i woke up from what i might say was a terrible slumber, i went to shower. The drips of water hurt my skin as they trailed down my body. It was bearable though. I made sure to eat breakfast this morning, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold it down. It was toast and cereal, very average, though I'm not complaining. I didn't bother packing lunch today cause i clearly didn't have time to make anything.

I would honestly love nothing more than to stay home the whole day, but my teachers already think of me as a problem child, and skipping another day of classes would only make things worse. I know if i called in sick they wouldn't believe me either. So with that in mind just head out the door.

After my long walk to the school i feel that the pain in my body has become even more unbearable. Though I'm far too tired and weak to turn back now. So i just continue into the school. I began walking down the hall but very slow, cause I'm not feeling good at this point. While i continue struggling to walk i spot Liam and his buddies. They also notice me making my way down the hall. They began approaching me with huge smirks on their faces until i start to sway, my head began to spin and my vision went blurry. I hear a loud thump as i collapse to the floor. Everyone wen't silent except for a few. They laughed probably thinking i was tripped or pushed, only until i didn't get up. That's when people started to panic. I didn't even know what was happening myself. That's when I just blacked out.

I woke up to a loud beeping sound that repeated over and over. I was in the hospital.  I laid there thinking i was dreaming. I just waited and waited to wake up but with every passing second it began feeling more like reality. I started panicking when i realized i wasn't dreaming.

Several moments later the door opened. A doctor walked in. He had messy brown hair and was quite tall. I couldn't read his name tag though. My vision was still too blurry.

"How are you feeling?" He began.

"Much better than before." I say with a shy chuckle, and he smiles.

"H-how long have i been here?" I ask nervously, scared for an answer.

"You've only been out for two days now." My eyes widen at his response.

"No way! I hope I locked the doors and shut off the stove, and sink before I left home!" I whisper worriedly. Though he still seemed to hear it.

"Don't over work yourself boy. You were in pretty bad shape when you arrived here." He says in a worried tone. I look at him curious.

"Both your ribs were fractured, and your body was incredibly bruised." He looks at me with pity in his eyes "Mind telling me what happened?" He finishes with a question.

"I... I uhh..." I hesitate to answer for awhile. "I-It was from some bullies at my school. T-though its not like you'd even believe me anyway." I finish turning my head in the other direction.

"Why wouldn't i believe you?" He asks curiously.

"No one ever does... I-its like the world is against me." I say now looking down at my lap.

"I believe you, so you don't have to worry" He says with pity in his voice. I look to his face and see that hes telling the truth.

"Those are some pretty harsh bullies." He says surprised.

"Y-yeah... I don't think they know their own strength." I say now playing with my fingers.

"So, when will your visitors be coming over?" He asks "I'm just curious cause no one has come to visit these past couple of days." He says worriedly.

"They won't be coming over, cause t-there is no they. I'm an only child, my parents are probably half way across the world at the moment and I'm a... a loser with no friends." I say with sadness growing in my voice, trying to hold back the tears.

"I-I'm sorry, i shouldn't have brought it up." The doctor says feeling a bit ashamed.

"N-no, its fine, its not like you knew. Anyway when can get out of here?" I question quickly.

"You'll only need to stay another week. You've been healing pretty well." His voice now becoming more light.

"O-okay..." I dully respond. He tells me to get more rest and walks out he door.

At least now i don't have to face Liam.

I sat there solving algebra problems in my head. I spent hours doing so. That was always a great way for me to past the time. Yeah yeah call me a nerd.

Before i knew it, it had become night. I continued lost within my thoughts. Thinking about school, the girl who caught me singing, Liam and his group, and a lot of other unimportant things. I fell asleep, finally being able to enjoy it.

The next morning i woke up to the door opening. It was a nurse. She came to check on me and brought me breakfast. It was pretty good. Just some soup and pudding. I had to avoid eating anything solid due to the state of my stomach.

It got kinda boring sitting in my bed. There is a TV on the wall, but i honestly didn't enjoy watching TV much. I usually just use my gaming consoles to search the web and watch videos. I close my eyes and envision a keyboard laid out beneath my fingers. I start to move them and can hear the notes as if I'm actually playing a real keyboard. I have a pretty powerful imagination heh. I must have been so wrapped up in what i was doing i didn't notice the doctor walk in.

"I see you're one of those musical geniuses." He chuckles and gives me a smile. I jump at the sound of his voice, shocked and slightly embarrassed.

"Can you actually play piano?" He asks "I don't mean it to sound rude. I'm just curious, cause you look like you knew what you were doing." He finishes.

"Y-yeah, I know a little piano... I'm better at guitar though." I say. He looks surprised.

"Oh cool! I have a guitar in my office, mind playing something for me? I know this doesn't really seem professional of me but i haven't heard anyone able to play guitar in awhile." He expresses eagerly.

"Sure, I-I'm quite bored anyway hehe." I say while laughing.

The doctor left to get his guitar from his office. After waiting a few minutes he returns with a nice, sleek looking guitar in his hands.

"Its beautiful." I say gleaming at it.

"Thank you, it cost me a pretty penny." He smiles while placing it in my hands. Its extremely comfortable to hold.

"Play anything you wish. I'm just curious as to how well you play." With that my fingers are off into a bliss of smooth plucking and strumming. I gotta remind myself to get one of these.

I began getting so into it i hand't even noticed i was singing. It just felt so natural.

Once i finished playing the song i had realized what i did. I felt so embarrassed, I felt blood rushing to my head turning my face a cherry color. I quickly looked to to the doctor from my bed to see pure shock in his face, almost as if he'd seen a ghost. With that i quickly sat the guitar beside the hospital bed and pulled the blankets from the bed over my embarrassed face while just sitting there, waiting for a response.

"You know..." He paused. I start getting scared. "You really are a musical genius." He finished in a rather cheerful voice.

"I wasn't serious at first but, man, you can sing, you can really sing, not to mention you can play piano, and guitar... what else can you do?" He asks eagerly.

"I uh... i play a little violin, a-and drums." I say very quiet while my face still hidden under the blankets.

"You can not let all that talent go to waste. You have some serious skill kid." He says with shock still obvious on his face.

"Y-you're serious? A-am i really any good? I don't usually receive genuine compliments." I say peeking from under the blankets, and he nods.

"If you can't see that then maybe you should be kept here a little longer" He chuckles.

"Well i gotta head out now, but I'll leave you with the guitar until you're released." He says pointing at his guitar.

"Thank you, sir." I offer a little smile and watch him exit the room. This'll make things a lot more bearable.
