---Picture of Gale---

After arriving at my house I waved Cortney goodbye. I made myself dinner and ate it on a stool near the kitchen. It was veggie tacos, cause I felt my diet hadn't been the best for the past few weeks. After eating I washed my hands and went to the living room. I turned on one of my consoles and watched a movie. I've only seen one or two movies with my parents throughout my lifetime. Both being before I was eight. I don't really know what it feels like to do those types of things with other people. My babysitter would occasionally watch me play games but that was about it. Playing with Liam that night was the first real time I've played with a friend. It was far more fun than I'd imagined it. Maybe I could invite Cortney to the movies. That wasn't really my thing though. I was just getting over the fear of hanging around her.

The movie ended. I was almost asleep, but I remembered I still had to shower. I shut off the lights downstairs and made my way to the bathroom. I turned on the water and I slowly stripped myself, making sure I don't stumble from sleepiness.  I stood under the running water, letting it ease my mind. I dried myself and pulled on a pair of briefs, nothing more. Since tomorrow was Saturday I didn't have to go to school, I could sleep in all day. I buried myself under my warm blue cover. I slowly drifted asleep. The house was so peaceful, it made it easy to do so.

The next morning I was woken by a loud truck passing the house. I groaned and crawled out of bed, making my way over to the clock on my desk. It was nine o' clock. I put on a shirt and a pair of long shorts. I made pancakes then ate them with a glass of apple juice. It was nice and sunny outside, though I didn't have much to do today. I was planning on grocery shopping though. I sat at the stool for a moment and remembered I was still supposed to be looking for two more teammates. I started panicking. I hadn't asked Luke yet, and I didn't have his number. It suddenly popped into mind that Cortney and Luke were siblings, so I could ask her to put Luke on if I called. I tapped Cortney's name on my phone and speed dialed her.

"Harvey! What's up?" Cortney squeaks in excitement.

"H-Hey Cortney." I greet. "Is Luke home?"

"Why? Am I not good enough?" She whines.

"That's not it. Its about the match on Monday. I want to ask him to be if he'd be one of my teammates." I clarify.

"Oh, I see!" She giggles. "I'll put him on, hold on a sec."

"Yo Harvey, need something?" Luke greets after a moment.

"Well I... uh... I was wondering if you'd want to be on my team for the match this Monday. If you're free that is." I ask, nervous.

"Sure. I used to be a pretty good goalie back in middle school!" He states cheerfully.

"T-Thanks Luke." I say quietly.

"No problem Harv." He replies. "You got any other members?"

"Just one other person so far." I answer. "Its the guy from lunch yesterday."

"Ah, okay." He says in understanding. "Well, good luck!"

"Thanks." I say once more. "Bye Luke."

"See ya." He hand the phone to Harvey. Cortney and I began speaking. Several minutes later we finally hung up.

I decided now would be the perfect time to get some shopping done. I write a list of things I need, I swiped my wallet from an end table in the living room and headed out the door. I made sure to bring my skateboard with me. I coasted down the sidewalk, taking in all the beautiful sights. I arrived at the store, make my way through the list, then check out. While pulling out my credit card, or my parents' rather, I noticed the card Gale's mom gave me. She said if I needed a favor I could come to her. Heh, I wonder if she'd let me borrow her son. I wouldn't make him play against his will though. Their house was closer to mine than Liam's was. I didn't know who else to ask but Gale. I was doing this for Liam, so I don't mind if Gale hates me. As long as he's willing to work together to help Liam. They are friends after all. I decided to give it a shot.

Carrying two bags and and a skateboard wasn't going to be easy. I held the skateboard under my arm while carrying two plastic bags and held the address card in the other. I navigated my way around the neighborhood, and finally reached a nice looking home. It had the address that was written on the card on a gate near the entrance. I hesitantly made my way to the door and gave it a gentle knock. I heard muffled footsteps echoing threw the house. I waited a moment and the door opened.

"Harley! It's good to see you!" Clare said in a excited voice.

"Um... Harvey." I shyly corrected her.

"Oops my bad. I was never any good with names." She apologized in a perky tone, scratching her nose.

"I-Its fine." I assure.

"So, did you come for a favor?" She asks looking around the yard.

"Yeah, from your son actually..." I reply rather hesitant.

"Ohh you know my son?" I nod "Come in, come in!"

I slowly walk through the door after leaning my skateboard outside.

"You must be Gales friend. I'll call him down. You can just place your bags over there." She says pointing towards a grandfather clock. Before I could try an correct her another time she had already disappeared up the stairs. This happened far too often.

I stood in the middle of their home swaying back and forth. Its a rather classy house. The color scheme was dark brown. The seats placed throughout the house were all colored cream though. It gave the house a relaxing feel.

A moment passed, I was snapped out of my gaze from the sound of footsteps making their way down the stairs. With every passing step my heart sped up. I hope he doesn't attack me for entering his home. He made his last step off the stairs and turned his head to me. The glare that formed on his face and shot towards me almost felt like it physically pained me.

"What, the hell do you want with me?" He says, almost shouting. His tone made me jump. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

"I... I need a favor..." I say, almost shaking. I have no idea why I'm so intimidated.

"What makes you think you can barge into my home and ask me for a favor, knowing that I hate you?" He says, gritting his teeth.

"Look, I'm not asking you to do this for me, more so for Liam rather." I try to clarify. He stopped and looked at me confused.

"I'm sure you've noticed he isn't acting like himself." I continue. He stopped moving for awhile and looked lost in thought.

"If you know something you'd better tell me." He threatens.

"You know that new transfer student, Zeal?" I ask, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah? What about that bastard?" He asks, looking puzzled.

"He's been harassing Liam." I inform. He paused again, then looked at me like I was stupid.

"How can a wimp like him harass someone like Liam?" He asks disbelievingly.

"I'm sure you've seen how he's manipulated the entire school in such a short amount of time. He can get just about anyone to turn against a person of his will."

"...I guess I see your point." He admits.

"I don't understand why you want to help Liam, or why you'd ask ME of all people for a favor, I also don't get why Luke hangs around you either." He sends a barrage of questions my way. "You shouldn't want to have anything to do with us."

"Liam has helped me quite a bit already, so Its my turn to help him. Plus, I-I don't see you guys as bad people. Just people in bad situations." I say, turning my face towards my feet.

"How would you know?" He snaps, which makes me jump a bit.

"I try to see the good in people r-rather than judge them for their negative behavior. There's always a logical reason behind their actions." I explain.

"You really are an idiot." He snickers. Our conversation was suddenly halted when we heard steps coming from the stairs. Clare and a man I'd never seen before appeared at the bottom of the steps. The guy had similar looking hair to Gale's, they even dressed like each other as well.

"You must be Harley!" The guy said, approaching me.

"H-Harvey, sir." I corrected another time.

"Sorry. Harvey." He apologized, correcting himself. He reached out his hand for a shake in which returned.

"My name's Nova. Gale's father." He introduced. As he finished speaking Shoeske ran into the room and cuddled my leg. I sat on my knees, picked up the cat and began petting him. His purrs were deep and filled with vigor. Shoeske really seemed to take a liking to me. Clare awd when she saw us cuddling. My mind was lost at thought, and I began speaking aloud again.

"Knightstorm... They have some really cool names." I mumbled, not removing my eyes from Shoeske's soft fur.

"Why thank you." Clare said teeming with joy. I darted my head towards her, realizing she was speaking to me. Nova wore a grin on his face, while Gale looked neutral. Had I said that out loud? I really have to stop doing that.

"S-sorry I-" I began apologizing before being cut off by Clare.

"Gale, why don't you take your friend out for ice cream." He suggested, or more so commanded.

"Mom, he's not my friend!" Gale shouted.

"Come on now, don't talk like that." She said handing him money. He sighed.

"Whatever." He said, snatching the money from her fingers. He stood at the door, probably waiting for me. I quickly got up from the floor, setting Shoeske to the ground. I made my way over to Gale, a little scared at his reaction.

"Have fun boys!" Clare said, pushing us through and out the door. She quickly shut it, leaving me and Gale in an odd silence.

"The hell's up with her?" He said fiercely rubbing his hair.

"S-Sorry. I didn't mean to cause you so much trouble." I say, looking towards the ground.

"Whatever, lets just go." Was he really going along with it? I had expected him to pull me into an ally and punch me.
