After the bell rang I went back to class. Zeal was there. It seemed everyone had already taken a liking to him. The girls crowded around him whenever possible, trying to flirt with him. Class passed and I was about to head home, then Zeal came up to me.

"Hello, I'm Zeal. I just transferred here. Its nice to meet you." He introduced before giving me a firm handshake. He seemed very well mannered.

"A-ah, I'm Harvey, the pleasures mine." I respond giving him a smile. "What made you transfer here? If its okay asksing t-that is."

"Well... my grandma is sick so me and my family came to live with her." He replies a little sad.

"O-oh, sorry to hear that." I say regretting the question.

"Well, I gotta go. See ya!" He says running towards the school exit. I gathered my stuff and headed home. Cortney was driving me once again.

I made dinner, did some other things around the house, then went to bed.

I made a little extra breakfast and lunch today so that Cortney and her friends can have a little. I don't plan on cooking full meals for them though.

I make my way to school and spot Liam heading to his locker, still wearing that ghost face of his.

"L-Liam, is everything alright?" I ask now getting very worried. He kept his head lowered and walked away without saying anything. I spot Zeal in the corner of my eye, looking in my direction. He began making his way towards me.

"You and Liam are friends?" He asks with a bit of a smirk on his face.

"I guess you could say that." I hesitantly answer. How did he even know Liam? Did they meet yesterday? He was in a bad mood all day so that couldn't be possible. I push all the thoughts to the back of my head and find Cortney and her friends at the cafeteria.

"I made a little extra today in case you guys wanted some." I greet. They turned their heads to me in surprise.

"Oh, Harv didn't see ya there." Cortney says before quickly turning her head to the breakfast I brought. I place it on the table and remove the lid. It was lasagna. I heard several groans of pleasure exhaling from their lips, soon after they all dug in like crazy animals. They were moaning and gasping like they were in some kind of orgy.

"I'm going to marry you Harv!" Emily shouts, stuffing her face.

"You're next in line girl." Cortney says, raising her hand. I chuckle at them being goofs.

"Do you guys know what Zeal and Liam's relationship is?" I shot them a question after a moment passed.

"Oh, well... Zeal was Liam's best friend in middle school. He had to move away though." Cortney says casually. Then she raised an eyebrow at me, probably curious why I asked.

"Ah... I see." I say going into thought. Could it be the person who Liam was talking about? Zeal seems like a nice guy though. However Liam did say he managed to fool him. This could very well be the same person. That would explain his mood as of late.

I head off to class with waves of thoughts running though my mind. A little later in the day Zeal approached me in the halls once again.

"Hey Harvey, wanna come to my party tomorrow?" He asks wearing a sheepish smile.

"U-um will Liam be there?" I question. I don't know why I asked though.

"...Harvey, I don't think you should hang around Liam. He has a lot of dark secrets." He alerts quietly.

"W-well he seems pretty normal to me." I respond.

"I used to be one of his closest friends, so I'd know. You're just gonna have to take my word for it. You'd be better off not getting involved with him." He says wearing a look of pity. He was totally starting to weird me out.

"I'll pass on the party, thanks." I answer nervously before walking away trying to avoid his gaze. He continued smirking at me as I made my way down the hall.  I went outside to get some air. Zeal was being very strange. That pretty much convinced me he was the one Liam mentioned.

After class Cortney took me home, and I spent the rest of the day thinking about Liam, how I would get him out of that mood. I noticed the moonlight peeking through my windows and shut my eyes. I'll just deal with everything tomorrow.

When the sun rose I got out of bed and prepared for school. I tracked Liam down to see if he was still in his ghost state. I spotted him in the classroom where detention is usually held. He had his head down, sitting in one of the chairs.

"Liam, are you okay?" I ask making my way to him. He jumped a little when he heard my voice. A moment went by before he responded to me.

"You should stay away from me, I'll only cause you trouble." He states, with sadness coating his voice.

"I don't ca--" Is all I could get about before Liam interrupted me.

"Don't... It would be better for both of us." He says now walking out the room. A while later I decide to leave as well. What he said really hurt me. How would it be better for both of us? Did this have to do with Zeal? Is he really that dangerous? Just as his name crossed my mind, he appeared in front of me. He seemed to know I was talking with Liam. He probably saw him in the hall.

"I'm telling you for your own good, stay away from Liam. Nothing good will come from being around him." Zeal says looking down at me with a bit of frustration in his deep voice.

"That decision is mine to make, and mine only. Liam's a good guy, though it maybe hard to see at first but if you were truly his friend you'd know this." I snapped and walked away before he could get another word in. I'm not sure if that was the wisest choice.

I went to my classes for the day, then had lunch with Luke, Cortney, and her friends. I left the school building and spotted Cortney waiting for me outside. I make my way to her to tell her I'm going to walk home today.

"Cortney, I'm probably going to walk home today." I say looking at the ground, kicking a piece of gravel off the pavement.

"Why, is something wrong?" She asks worried walking up to me.

"I've got a lot on my mind is all, and I need some time to clear my head." I say sill looking at the pavement.

"Okay." She replies sadly with a bit of disappointment in her tone. "Just remember, if you need to talk, I'm here. Just call me whenever."

"Thanks Cort." I hug her deeply. She's a great friend. I never imagined I'd meet someone like her.

She smiled at me and waved me off.
