Liam flicked my forehead snapping me out of my daydream.

"C'mon lets get home before mom has dinner done." He said heading for the door. I nod sliding myself off the bed following behind him. He waited for me just outside the nurses office and when I got close to him he held my hand. He didn't really have an obvious reason to do so, but he still did it anyway, which made me extremely happy. Having my hand in his grasp made me feel warm and tingly. It felt like I was a dying phone being charged. I know this love may be one sided but I'll still try to enjoy every moment with Liam, even if in the end it'll hurt worse when he chooses to hang around someone else and leaves me behind.

We got outside the school and I remember I'm still wearing the same outfit as yesterday.

"I-I'm sorry to ask this of you but would you drive me to my house real fast? I need to shower." I ask hesitantly.

"Sure, no prob." Liam replied simple yet peppy.

We made our way to his car and got in. The drive home was filled with a comfortable silence. The car's engine was very quiet yet still audible, the fans had little to no noise and the breeze pressing from the spinning blades were gentle and cool, the scent of the car smelled like that of a sunny spring forest. I almost fell asleep due to the calming atmosphere, but I realized we were pulling up in front of my home. I quickly got out of the passenger seat and motioned Liam to the front door. I wanted to be fast so I wouldn't keep Liam waiting too long. He made his way up to me, and I opened the door. We entered my home. He looked around in amusement.

"Well, make yourself at home. I'll just be taking a quick shower." I say heading up the stairs. He looked like a lost pup standing in the living room. I got in the shower forgetting to get a change of clothes from my closet, though I could always just get them later. I make sure not to spend too much time in the shower so that we could get back to Liam's house in time for dinner. I stepped out and dried myself. I wrapped the towel around my waist and exited the room, which I'm now seriously regretting. Liam was in my room. When he saw me he smirked. He stood up off my bed and began walking towards me. He stood in front of me, towering over me with his large body. He had his hand on the wall above me, and his chest almost touching my face. I got extremely nervous and ran under his arm and into my closet trying to dress myself as fast as possible while profusely apologizing. After dressing myself I emerged without being able to conjure up a word. Every time I tried speaking all that would escape my lips were huffs of air. My heartbeat would not let up, cause Liam was still wearing a smirk.

"You ready to go? Did you get everything?" He questions, looking around my room. I remember that I have to bring my toothbrush this time. I quickly head for the bathroom and take my slim blue toothbrush from a cup sitting on the sink.

"I-I'm ready." I announce finally being able to release sound from my mouth. He gestures to the door with both his hands leading me out ahead of him. We made our way back to his car and he opens the passenger door once more, and shuts it behind me. I see him quickly run over to the drivers side and open the door. He started the car and headed off towards his house. We pull into his garage and head for the front door.

"Yo, mom Harvey will be staying another day, is that okay?" Liam shouts towards the kitchen as we enter the house.

"Yes! Absolutely, I love his company! " Hearing her say that made me very happy. Not many people prefer being around me, so hearing that definitely lifts my heart.

"Dinner should be done in about a half an hour." She shouts from the kitchen.

"Would you like my help?" I offer, now stepping into the kitchen.

"That would be wonderful! Thank you sweetie." She accepts. Gosh, she must be a cool mom.

After following Marie's instructions in the kitchen the food was finally done. We laid the table and she called Liam and Marvin down. We made a pot of white rice with roasted duck, and a creamy bright tomato sauce.

"I didn't know Harvey was here!" Marvin exclaimed.

"Yeah, and he even helped with dinner, unlike some men." She says, rolling her eyes at the last part of her sentence.

"Honey, you know I'm usually busy with work." Marvin says, a hint sadness showing in his tone. She gave him a sassy look which made everyone breakout into laughter. We chatted while eating dinner, Marie asking about school and what not.

"So, Harvey, what are your plans after graduation?" She asks looking my way.

"I-I don't really know... I'll just do whatever makes me happy I suppose. I don't have a solid vision of my future, I mean I don't really have a dream job, I don't really care much for big houses. I know that all I want is a simple, happy life." I began blushing as I realize what I had said was very cheesy. Their eyes lit up a bit. I sat there for a moment wondering why.

"That's what Liam said." Marie says, slowly in surprise.

"Of course they gave me an earful about it." Liam complains, smiling and lifting his shoulders.

"Would you happen to, like my son?" Marie asks in surprise, a moment later. That came out of nowhere. I felt like I was being pinned to the ground with a stake. I didn't know how to get out of this situation. My words came out as stutters, I was too nervous to admit it. I don't know what came over me, but I quickly removed myself from the table and ran up the stairs thanking them for dinner. I ran into Liam's room and hid under his covers. The scent helped me relax a little, but I was still terrified as to what would happen next. A few minutes later I heard footsteps approaching the room. I sat still, buried under the covers. The sound of the approaching footsteps stopped at the door way, only to resume moments later, now heading into the room. The covers were suddenly pulled from me. Liam stood above me.

"I-I'm sorry." I whimpered. He just continued standing there, staring at me, not saying a word. I curled into a ball to trying to hide my embarrassment. Liam walked over to his drawer and pulled a few things out before leaving, I didn't know what they were. Maybe he was going to shower? I was relieved to be alone again. Though I still didn't know how I was going to get out of this situation. I lost myself in though for however long. I heard footsteps heading for the room once again. My heart began racing. I hoped it wouldn't break through my ribcage. I was much nervous than earlier. I guess all that time to myself didn't help me as much as I had hoped. The footsteps became loud, now with a being appearing at the door. Its Liam again, but... but this time he was wearing nothing but boxer briefs, probably getting ready for bed. What's he thinking? Weren't my actions at the dinner table clear enough to show I had feelings for him? And he still has that person he likes too, so why would he sleep in the same bed as I, wearing nothing but underwear?
