IVORY'S POINT OF VIEW

I sat on the ground as Alijah attempt to crawl to me but she kept getting lazy and laid down. Silas was sitting on the other side of the carpet watching her also. Times like this made me smile especially because my baby was already 6 months.

Jade walked from out of the kitchen holding Tristan in his arms and bent down so I could give Tristan a kiss on the forehead.

"Give your sister a kiss too" Jade said and Tristan spoke gibberish before kissing Alijah causing her to start crying.

Light knocking in the front door let us know that Reina was here to pick him up without any drama. Things had been good and there was no more fighting, Jade had paid one of his workers to go out with Reina and now they were so called in love.

When Reina came inside she gave me a small smile and I returned the gesture. We were cordial, not friends and I liked it like that.

"I love her sandals, my sister is having a littler girl where did you get them?" Reina asked and I looked down at the white flower sandals Alijah had on as Silas picked her up and kissed her cheeks.

"This baby website, I can't think of the name but I'll have Jade text it to you later" I tell her and she smiled and took Tristan from jades arms.

"I'll drop him off next Friday, after I get him from daycare" Reina informed Jade before leaving. Jade took a seat next to me on the floor in the living room after locking the front door and he stared at me for awhile.

I made a face noticing he had cut off the dreadlocks on his head. He looked so weird without them but it made him look less scary and after buying a car dealership to earn clean money on the side he wanted to look more professional.

"I'm proud of you for reaching an understanding with her, it means a lot to me, for real" Jade says with a smile and he kissed my neck.

"Yeah right, she only nice cause Ivory jumped on her ugly ass. I don't care who likes her I still ain't befriending that hoe" Silas said bouncing Alijah on his lap.

"Whats up fat girl? You want daddy?" Jade asked pulling her from his arms and she got excited and started moving around causing us to laugh.

My daughter was no doubt a daddy's girl and I loved their relationship. Even her and Calvin and Tristan had a little bond going on. Jade and I agreed on having one more baby in a few years after everything's settled down.

"Are we still going out tonight?" I asked and he sucked his teeth remembering something I assumed.

"Baby I gotta meeting with some people tonight but we can have a family day tomorrow and then tomorrow night it can be just me and you" he said with a smile and I rolled my eyes.

"Us being alone is what made us make her" I reminded him and he started laughing obnoxiously.

"Give me my baby because your scaring her" Silas said getting mad as he took Alijah from Jade and we both made a face at him.

"You really think my daughter is yours huh?" I asked and he started laughing and nodded as Alijah pulled on his dread. I loved moments like this because it reminded me of why I stuck around and didn't leave.

Jade's phone started ringing and he looked at the caller ID before rolling his eyes and sliding it back into his pocket. Jade stood up and grabbed his keys off the coffee table.

"I'll be back tonight, cook something good that don't involve vegetables" he calls as he leaves and I mugged him.

He wants me to act like a wife but he hasn't asked me to marry him, sound pretty retarded to me but whatever.

Things had been really secretive lately, like all the guys were plotting something big and Silas and I weren't allowed to be involved with it. Jade said it's a slow process and needs time but that doesn't stop me from being curious and wondering what the hell he was doing.

"You gone get in the kitchen or nah? You see we hungry" Silas joked and I rolled my eyes as I stood up taking my baby from him. I mugged him annoyed and he smiled at Alijah as she reached for him.

"No we don't like him, I'm your favorite person remember?"I asked and she started crying. I rolled my eyes and handed her back to him and got up to walk into the kitchen when Anaya and Asia walked inside.

They gave me this look and ushered me into the kitchen quickly. Silas was to busy to even notice what was going on.

"Please talk some since into her before her ass gets burned" Asia told me referring to Anaya and I sighed rubbing my temple.

"Ohaji isn't any good just get over these so called feeling and find you a real man like Don or something" I tell Anaya and she frowned and shook her head. She's really obsessed with that man and I consider her a friend now and I'm trying to warn her.

"It's different with me like the first time we had sex he was so vulnerable and I'm the one that took charge not him"'she said and Asia busted out laughing.

"Girl he's playing your ass that whole crying shit they do is to get some, every time I'd catch Rico cheating he'd cry and we'd end up having sex because I felt bad, I was an idiot" Asia said sadly as she remembered.

"You think he's playing me?" Anaya asked and I looked down and shrugged not wanting to answer. I mean it is possible for O to develop feelings right?

"What are y'all talking about?" Silas asked coming around the corner with Alijah on his hip. He frowned when he saw Asia and she rolled her eyes.

"Anaya thinks Ohaji wants to settle down with her?" I tell him looking for his opinion and he chuckled a little bit.

"O will say anything for a quick nut and we all know that shit, I thought you'd be smarter" Silas laughed as he walked away.

Anaya remained quiet for a moment before grabbing her car keys and storming away. Asia and I shared a look before shrugging. Either she was mad at us for telling the honest truth or she was about to go cut O's dick off.

"I really miss Rico, it's not fair none of this is and I've been thinking about leaving California and just starting over" she says wiping a few of her tears before they could fall.

"Do what you feel is best for your kids" I tell her giving her a hug and she began sobbing. Without Rico around it really felt like something was missing and Asia had been acting weird.

JADE'S POINT OF VIEW

Ohaji and I sat I a strip club watching the strippers work the pole while meeting up with Victor, He said he had some important business to talk to us about and I knew it had something to do with this ongoing feud with Will.

"I called you both here because I wanna know what you plan to do, This cat and mouse game you both have going on with Will isn't comfortable especially because you have kids" Victor said lighting his cigar.

"What that got to do with anything?" Ohaji asked staring at a stripper shaking her ass. I shook my head and turned my attention back to Victor.

"What it means is this situation needs to be handled fast, unless you want this empire your building to be destroyed. Please don't underestimate this man" Victor said seriously.

"I see what your saying and it's something I tho-" I started before Anya stormed into the club and O quickly ducked down under the table.

She made eye contact with me and marched over with her hand on her hip and her gun out. I smirked and shook my head, this nigga done fucked with the wrong one.

"Where the fuck is he? Don't lie to me Jade" she said angrily I was about to tell her he was under the table until he grabbed my crotch and squeezed it sending pain through my body.

"He went to go do a drop, try calling him" I tell her in a grunt and she looked at me weirdly before walking away.

"Nigga you gay, get off my dick" I whispered and he let go and crawled from under the table. I was in so much pain it wasn't even funny.

"This is what I'm talking about, you have all this going on and you need to be focused on taking out Will before he takes the both of you out,there's to much at risk and you both aren't being serious" Victor snapped at us.

I'd been slacking a lot and we hadn't had any problems from Will in awhile. He was probably plotting and our dumbasses was about to be caught up.

"What do you think we should do? You the expert with this shit" Ohaji said looking down at his phone.

"Start taking out his army, send some sort of message" Victor said and an idea popped up into my head and it was really gruesome.

"You lying ass nigga!" Anaya yelled smacking me in the back of the head hard as hell. This bitch be getting on my nerves with her annoying ass.

O smacked his teeth and didn't pay her any attention. I was about to tell her something until I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

"Anaya you looking good tonight, with your fine ass" I said loud enough to get Will's second in commands attention. This shit was like fate and it'd be too easy.

O looked at me funny as I stood up and walked in front of her wrapping my arm securely around her waist while making eye contact with that bitch.

"Jade what are you doing?" She asked trying to push me off.

"Play along bruh" I whispered and she nodded. By now everyone had caught on and tried to act like they didn't see Will's people sitting at the bar.

I grabbed the gun Anaya had slowly before glancing over with a smirk on my face and firing the first bullet causing them to retaliate.

They were dropping like flies so they ran off leaving about eight dead bodies behind. I nodded at the owner of the strip club and he nodded back signaling he'd handle the mess.

"Bruh why you always gotta cause a fucking scene" Ohaji said putting his gun away as we walked out of the club with Anaya following right behind.

"Nigga if you didn't play with my feeling I wouldn't have to, I want you to fucking commit!" She yelled growing emotional and I smacked my teeth. Everybody know he won't ever settle so I don't see why it's still up for debate.

"Here we go again" he smacked his teeth. Anaya smacked him and he stopped walking causing me to stop as well.

"Bitch, don't hit me unless you want me to slap the shit out of you, now go somewhere before bullets start flying again" he said mugging her and she shoved him and stormed away.

"You stay getting yourself into this shit,I don't feel bad for you" I told him as we climbed into my ride.

"Fuck you, I ain't ask for you to feel bad" he mumbled sitting back in the seat. I shook my head and started the car. This nigga won't ever change.

SILAS'S POINT OF VIEW

"You smell good" I said smiling as I kissed Alijah's cheek once Ivory gave her a quick bath. This lil girl really changed my life and I'd do anything for her which is why I didn't mind watching her.

Ivory was staring into outer space weirdly and I tapped her but she remained staring off, she'd been doing that a lot lately.

"Ivory whats wrong? You acting hella weird" I tell her and she slowly looked at me and gave me a small smile.

"I've been having these nightmares, I don't feel like I'll be around to see my babies first steps" she said wiping her eyes as a few tears fell out. I scrunched up my face and looked down at Alijah.

"Don't even speak like that. You gone get married to Jade ugly ass and y'all gone have more kids for me to babysit" I tell her with a smile and she shook her head no as more tears fell. I wrapped my reaming arm around her as I held Alijah with my other one.

"Silas if something happens to me, please take my baby and leave I know you'll raise her right" Ivory said looking into my eyes and I nodded slowly. She wiped a tear and walked away leaving me in the nursery.

I looked down at Alijah as she looked at me with her big brown eyes and I gave her a smile which she returned. Ivory was just being paranoid she was gone be okay and I was gonna make sure of that.

I spent another thirty minutes rocking the baby to sleep before laying her in the crib. I was suppose to be facetiming with Mariah but I honestly didn't feel like it.

When I slept with girls it was meaningless and I just did it to do it. I wanna do something meaningful with my life not just cake on the phone every single night because I'm bored,

I took a quick shower and laid down in bed staring at the ceiling thinking about what Ivory was saying earlier.

I hadn't closed my eyes for no longer than a couple of seconds when the alarm down stairs started going off. I rolled my eyes knowing it was probably O or Jade being to lazy to disable the code. There were footsteps coming up the stairs and I climbed out of bed and stretched before opening my bedroom door.

"What the fu-" I started before I tried to quickly grab my gun but the niggas in the mask were already pointing a gun at me.

"We ain't come here to kill nobody, so keep your hands up. Oscar, go get the baby" he told some other dude in the mask. I reached for my gun again but got shot in the shoulder causing me to wince in pain.

When Ivory came out of her room she was pushed back inside and Alijah began screaming her head off as she was taken from her crib.

"She just a baby, take me I'll go willingly I swear" I begged and they all started chuckling before I was hit over the head hard with the gun and knocked down to my knees.

"Tell Jade, it's on" someone whispered to me before hitting me in the head again and leaving with Alijah.

I glanced up at the gun on the nightstand but couldn't bring myself to get it, I was too tired and felt weak. I could hear Ivory banging from her room door and assumed they must of locked her inside.

They might as well should of killed me, I was already dead on the inside because they took my heart and I knew Jade would kill me when he got back.
