Angst

I walked down the street, in the middle of the dark, ignoring every people who walked passed by me. Alone. Just by myself. Without you.

I see some couples holding hands in this cold night, looking at the sky as the snow falling from the sky and hit the ground, creating some pattern.

I watched them kissing, cuddling, giving warmth to each other. I kept walking, lowering my head, having thought of you. But my steps stopped as a butterfly fly through me.

I looked up and the butterfly flies to a dark alley. I followed the butterfly, chasing the butterfly. I stopped chasing the butterfly as it landed on my cold hand.

Suddenly, a short movie is being play in my head.

In there, I saw her running from me. I chased her, she was smiling happily. But suddenly, her figure faded away.

I looked around and the sky turned into grey, it was raining. And then, I saw you laying on the green grass, closing your eyes and smiled as you were enjoying the rain.

I came closer to you, and I felt my heart broke into pieces as I saw her white dress, was covered in blood. I was about to reach you and hug you.

But.

You're gone, I opened my eyes and I'm not at the dark alley anymore. The butterfly that was in my hand, flew away.

I looked around and I immediately realize that I was on the hill where I found her laying on the ground, lifeless.

I looked up and a group of butterflies flying above me freely, I unconsciously dropped a tear from my eyes.

I stood up, wanting to reach the butterfly. I reach my hand out, but I stopped as I heard an angelic voice.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?"

I froze in my place. Feeling my own body shaking in disbelief.

"Did you finally found the way to here?" She asked again.

I turned around and saw her in her white dress.

"I waited for you, you know..." she walked towards me. One step, two step, until she's only two inches in front of me.

"I would wait for you, but you're so impatient. I sent the butterfly to you, since I'm tired of waiting" she chuckled.

I still looked at her in disbelief. Until she holds my hands. She smiled at me.

"Don't you miss me, Y/N?" She asked.

I pulled my hands out from her grip and cupped her cheeks. Looking at her straight in her shiny eyes.

"I guess you do, hm?" She pulled my hands down and wrapped them around her waist

The shorter girl moves closer to me. Closing the gap between us as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"I miss you so much, why aren't you talking?" She asked.

"Do words need to show you how much I miss you?" I spoke up. Her face lighten up.

She nodded.

"I was alone in here with these butterflies. I was planning to watch you over from here. You know, I almost went away from this place when I saw you did that... but these butterflies stopped me" she chuckled.

I smiled weakly.

"I fell from a high place just to see you again, just to feel your warmth again" I said.

She pulled me down and kissed my lips gently. Without thinking, I kissed her back, feeling her soft lips being pressed against mine.

"We'll never get separated again anymore, I love you... Y/N"

"I love you too, Yeri-ah"
