Jax stood waiting for Harlow's answer

Harlow took a deep breath and scrolled through her phone and tossed it at Jax

"Her name is Piper and she's three. Stan's sister has her until I can get her" Harlow said

Jax looked at the little girl staring back at him in the photo her blonde curls falling over her face just like Harlow s did

"She's absolutely beautiful" Jax smiled

"She sure is" Harlow said surprised by Jax's reaction

"When do you plan on going to get her?" Jax asked

"As soon as I can, and as soon as I find a place to live" Harlow said

"We can find a place... like together" Jax said looking at Harlow

"Really? I mean I didn't tell you about her and i am sorry. I just didn't think I'd be in this position" Harlow said

"Babe, your my old lady I'll stand by you no matter what" Jax said walking to the edge of her bed

"Jax were gonna have to talk about these rules" Harlow said looking at him

"We will, let's get you home and settled before any of that" Jax said

"Does juice have a laptop I can borrow till i get out tomorrow? I need to start looking at places I have some money up in Vegas i just need to find some place" Harlow said

Jax looked at Harlow and smiled "how about you let me take care of it, man's gotta take care of his family"

"Jax... I'm not pushing you into this, Piper isn't your responsibility" Harlow said

"You are my old lady, and that makes you and Piper my family" Jax said

Happy sat next to Harlow not believing what he just heard, he was a grandpa

"I'm sorry i didn't tell you i just wasn't thinking I'd be in this deep" Harlow said touching Happys arm

"I'm a grandpa. The Tacoma killer is a old fuck now" Happy said

"Dad I'm sorry" Harlow said

"She better not be anything like her father" Happy said looking at Harlow

"She has Lowman blood running through her veins" Harlow said

"Well let's get you out of this joint and go get your kid" Happy said as the nurse brought in her paperwork

Jax wanted to be there for her release but he moving in some furniture to a three bedroom house that he found on the outskirts of Charming

"Jade is meeting me at the lot and then Jax and I are heading to Vegas" Happy said

"Who's watching the kid?" Happy asked

"She is coming with us, we are going to do a day trip tomorrow" Harlow said

"Does Clay know?" Happy asked knowing they were leaving for a run later tonight

Harlow rolled her eyes, one of the things she picked up from Veda "Yes, Jax is riding the bike and Piper and I are going alone"

"You happy kid?" Happy asked looking at Harlow sign her papers

"I am dad, very happy" Harlow smiled

"I know I wasn't around when you were a kid but I am proud of you" Happy smiled slightly

"Thanks grandpa" Harlow laughed

"Let's go get your kid" Happy said standing up

Jax met Harlow and Happy back at the clubhouse he didn't want to admit it but he was a little excited about meeting Harlow's daughter. Jax hoped one day he would be able to have a child of his own, Jax had never thought of having kids with Tara it wasn't a thought that ever crossed his mind

When the maroon mini van with Nevada plates pulled up Harlow couldn't get to it fast enough, opening the door Piper was smiling in her booster seat

"Baby I missed you" Harlow said unbuckling Piper, Harlow couldn't pick Piper up with two hands becasue she was advised she could rip open her stiches and bleed out, looking over at Happy who strolled over he looked into the car

"Who are you?" Piper asked with a smug look on her face

"Names Happy. Who are you?" Happy grunted, Piper was only three but she definitely had get grandfathers mean mug

"I am Piper. Mommy calls me Pips for short" Piper said getting out of the car

Harlow walked over to the driver side as Jade opened the window

"Thank you Jade for taking care of her while I was with my mom, I appreciate it" Harlow said

"If it wasn't for that little girl I would kill you myself. But she needs you. I'll see you around Harlow." Jade said putting the van in reverse

"Mommy can I see our new house?" Piper asked tugging on Harlow's shirt

"Yes, I have someone very special I want you to meet though" Harlow said looking at Jax who was smiling

Harlow took Pipers hand and walked over to Jax who was now kneeling on thr ground

"What is your name?" Jax asked

"Piper. I like your vest" Piper said touching the patches on his kutte

"My name is Jax. Mommy told me all about you last night" Jax said smiling at Piper

"Did she tell you what I like to eat for breakfast?" Piper asked placing her hands on her hips

"Yup! Chocolate chip pancakes" Jax smiled

Jax wasn't expecting Piper to throw her arms around Jax's neck.

"Can you make them for me?" Piper asked pulling away to look at Jax

"I can try, but I'm sure mommy is a better cook" Jax said

"I bet she is too. Are you going to live with us?" Piper asked

"Yes I am. I have your room all set up already. Wanna go home and look at it?" Jax asked

Piper nodded her head and took Jax's hand and tugged towards Harlow

Piper was exausted, the ride too and from Vegas seemed like it was taking forever, Piper was passed out in the back seat of Jax's truck as they pulled into the driveway of their new home. Piper was excited to see it before they left for Vegas, taking care of all Stans financials was easier then Harlow expected and was even invited to Stans funeral the following week

Harlow luckily was able to bring Piper into the house one handed and laid her peacefully down, looking over her daughter she smiled, now being able to provide a stable home for her daughter

"So Jax what do you think about the kid?" Happy asked

"Shes a cutie for sure" Jax said sipping on his beer

"You gonna be able to handle both girls?" Happy asked

"I think I can handle them, going to have to get used to finding a sitter if Harlow and I want to go out or something" Jax said

"So your ready to step up if you gotta?" Happy asked

"Happy I love your daughter and just because she has Piper doesn't matter to me, becasue whether you like it or not if Harlow gets pregnant I'm going to marry her" Jax said standing up and walking away
