Jax felt normal, his life complete as he took another shot. The table voted a 'yay' for Jax to take his spot back as president, he was happy. Jax kept checking his phone to see if Harlow texted or called him at all but she didn't he didn't want to seem to pushy and chose not to text her at all except that he loved her and he would see her when he got home.

"Good to have ya back Jackie" Chibs said slapping Jax on the back

Jax turned his head and looked at his VP "It's good to be back I missed this place"

"We never said you couldn't come here Prez" Juice said to Jax's left

"Yeah I know but if i came i wouldnt want to leave and I made a promise to Harlow" Jax said as the bartender filled his shot glass

"Never did I think you would put you're family first Jax, I'm proud of you" Chibs said as he clinked shot glasses with Jax

"Neither did I. I would of never done that with Tara, but Harlow she's everything to me" Jax said

"She should be shes a good girl" Chibs said

"Thanks guys" Jax said getting off his barstool to mingle

Jax walked over to one of the leather couches and sat down and took a deep breath and looked around, everything was falling in place again. His life at home was going well and he came back to the club. He never would of thought that he would have left the club because his wife was sick

"Glad to see you back baby" Gemma said sitting down and putting her arm over Jax's shoulder

"Thanks mom for everything you have been doing for us" Jax said

"You don't need to thank me. That is what family is for. And i love being a grandma, even when i get one brought to me I didn't know I had" Gemma said

"Yeah sorry about that. I didnt know either and for a small moment i thought i was going to lose my wife over it" Jax said sipping his beer

"Harlow would never leave you Jax, she is a true old lady she stands by her man no matter what. You picked a good woman to have kids with" Gemma said

"She was pretty mad at me for it though, I think she finally forgave me today after I went and saw Ima or Leah" Jax said

"Yeah that was some shady shit, no wonder she avoided me when she came to get her car serviced. So its a done deal? Harlow is officially that boys mother?" Gemma asked

"It will be next week hopefully, child services has to come check the house and make sure its safe" Jax said

"Which means you need to bring you're guns to my house?" Gemma chuckled

"Something like that" Jax laughed

"You're father would be so proud of you Jax you have no idea" Gemma said touching Jax's cheek

"Thanks mom. So I was thinking our anniversary is coming up. I'm going to ask Harlow to renew our vows. We never did have a party or anything here" Jax said

"That would be wonderful and I will plan everything it will be perfect" Gemma said clapping her hands together

Jax chuckled as he rolled his eyes

"You and grumpy over there need to sort shit out before that happens though" Gemma said referring to Happy sitting in the corner

"Yeah i know i will go talk to him" Jax said as he stood up

Jax walked slowly over to Happy who stood as well "Not in here" Happy said as they headed out into the night

"I'm sorry that I dont come around more, kid is still pissed at me" Happy said

"Well she should be, I understand you're my brother but you are also my father in law and she needed you" Jax said sitting on the picnic table

"Yeah I know. I was afraid to lose her Jax" Happy admitted

"You don't think I was? I almost lost my wife and the mother to my children" Jax said

"I know I am sorry. I don't know what I can do to fix this" Happy said

"Go see her. Spend sometime with the kids they all miss you and you have to meet Jason" Jax said looking away knowing no one but his mother knew about Jason

"You guys had another kid? You are killing me come Christmas" Happy said

"Well he isn't exactly Harlow's he was the product of my stupidity" Jax said

"Ima?" Happy asked as Jax nodded his head "I knew something was up last time I saw her she was all strung out holding a kid that looked hungry"

"Yeah he is really underweight but Harlow will fix that in no time" Jax said

"Let me guess she fed the kid fuckin pancakes" Happy laughed knowing that Harlow loved cooking her pancakes

"He gobbled them right up, dont knock her pancakes you know that you love them too" Jax said

"God do I, sometimes I hope one of you would bring me a plate over but no" Happy said

"Come for breakfast tomorrow. Just show up she wont tell you no" Jax said

"I don't know Jax, I don't want to piss her off first thing in the morning" Happy said shaking is head knowing how Harlow can get when she is mad

"Yeah tell me about it, but she will be fine. Just crash on our couch I will let her know when we get there so I get the wrath before you do" Jax laughed

"Thanks man for takin the heat then, let me know when you head out and I will just follow you" Happy said shaking Jax's hand

Jax turned around as Happy walked away and called his name "Its good to have you back prez" Happy said before he walked back into the clubhouse

Harlow folded the blankets from the fort she made the kids before bed, hearing some footsteps come down the hall she looked and saw Jason standing there with his little blanket

"Cant sleep buddy" Harlow said walking towards him and leaning down to his level

"Momma" Jason began to cry, Harlow knew that she was going to have to deal with this eventually. Picking Jason up she rocked him and singing softly You are my sunshine in his ear until Jason was fast asleep on her shoulder. Harlow sighed as she laid Jason back down in the porta crib in Abel's room, leaning over and placing a kiss on Abel's forehead while he slept she looked at both boys sleeping before she slipped out of the bedroom to come face to face with Jax

"Jesus Christ Jax you scared me" Harlow said holding her chest

"I'm sorry babe I didn't even know you where in there" Jax said reaching around and closing the door halfway

"He misses her Jax" Harlow said

"He is going to, but you know what she wanted. you to be his mother" Jax said

"Why is my father on my couch with his dirty ass boots hanging off?" Harlow said pushing past Jax
