The feeling of having a high ranking angel in front of you is something that cannot be described by words. I have been in the presence of many powerful people like some of the captains and the wizard king over the course of my time as a magic knight, but even so, Jehoel was in another league of his own. However, despite his intimidating appearance, he didn't seem to have any intention of fighting, and maybe Jeo knew this as well since I could see that he was way too relaxed about all of this.

Jehoel: "Jeo, were you able to fill him in on the topic at hand?"

Jehoel's voice suddenly brought me back to reality as he spoke to Jeo. I still couldn't believe that Angels actually existed, this actually made me wonder what other even more powerful beings existed alongside them. Maybe a God? Or maybe multiple?

Jeo: "Eh, well.....I was about to, but you made your appearance before I could do anything." He shrugged.

Jehoel: *sigh* "Why would I expect anything else from you.....fine, I'll do it myself then." The six-winged angel said exasperated.

For a moment I was quite surprised at the current sight in front of me. Despite the clear difference in their ranks, the two of them somehow interacted as if they were friends for a long time, I could see a slight smirk appear on Jeo's face as the six-winged angel turned towards me.

Jehoel: "Greetings (Y/N); As you may already know, I am Jehoel, one of the seven seraphim who reside in the Silver City."

(Y/N): "Silver City?" I asked confused.

Jehoel: "Right, the Silver City is what you humans call.....heaven." The angel informed.

Jeo: "Fancy name....." He muttered under his breath.

(Y/N): "R-Right, it's an honor to meet you Jehoel."

Jehoel: "I understand that you must have many questions in mind right now. I will be happy to answer them in the future, but right now it is of utmost importance that we talk about why you are here."

(Y/N): "Of course." I nodded in understanding.

Jehoel: "Perfect. Did Jeo manage to tell you anything prior to my appearance?"

(Y/N): "Uh, yeah. He told me you brought me here because I apparently "found something?" I still have no idea what that means."

Jehoel: "It is quite simple. In recent weeks there have been a few instances where the mana fluctuations have been acting out of the ordinary. We had our theories about the reason for this and today we were able to confirm our suspicions."

Jehoel soon adopted a grim expression after saying this, based from his reaction I could tell that it was a very serious matter; I turned to look at Jeo and noticed that he too had a serious expression on his face, whatever it was, I just hoped it wasn't something too troublesome.

Jehoel: "After studying the region of today's occurrence, we have a reason to believe that one of the humans in your current location is possessed by a devil."

I widened my eyes after hearing those words, now it made sense why Jeo and Jehoel wanted to talk to me as soon as possible, there was a real devil host within the magic knights in the tournament, but who could it be? There were many of us in that tournament, and some of them I even knew very well for some time, I refused to believe  that one of my friends was possessed by a devil.

(Y/N): "A d-devil? But how? When did this happen?" I asked with a more concerned tone, a devil in our world was certainly a very serious matter.

Jehoel: "The first ever sighting occurred a few weeks ago in one of the forests in the outer parts of your kingdom, there was a strange manifestation of dark energy in the overworld, something that we had never seen before in our long lifetime. However, since it was an unknown source at the time, we first had to analyze it before jumping to any conclusion."

(Y/N): "......But?"

Jehoel: ".....But this proved problematic at first as upon closer examination we realized that there was something strange about this power source ... whatever it was, it was completely devoid of magic and mana."

(Y/N): (Wait......a being that lacked mana as well as magic? I thought Asta was the only living thing in this world that had no magic at all, but apparently there existed another being who was the same as him.)

Jehoel: "Additionally, last week another source of energy similar to this was revealed for a brief moment, only this time its power was more refined and much more abundant than the last time we saw it, but still there was no doubt that these two they came from the same origin. Today this rare type of energy was once again unveiled, and we were finally able to learn its cause."

(Y/N): "A devil..."

Jehoel: "Indeed."

I was silent for a while, still trying to make myself believe that there couldn't be a way for one of the magic knights to be a devil host, but who was I to argue with a high ranking angel? Most likely these two species have been mortal enemies since the dawn of time, so if anyone could identify a devil, it would be angels.

(Y/N): "I guess it makes sense, but what does all of this have to do with me?"

Jehoel: "I see, so you still don't know about the truth about your attribute......"

(Y/N): "Huh? Know what exactly?" I asked confused.

Jehoel: "(Y/N). Your plasma magic, is one of the few attributes that can directly interfere with a  devil's magic."

(Y/N): "Wh-WHAT?!" I exclaimed in surprise.

Jehoel: "Yes. in fact, the plasma attribute was created for that same purpose, to seek out and eliminate any devils that have breached the barrier between the underworld and the overworld."

(Y/N): "I'm not following, why not do it yourselves instead of creating an attribute to do it? I can tell from your mana that you are extremely powerful; I'm sure you angels could handle any devil better than us humans."

Jeo: "It's not that easy (Y/N)." The first plasma mage said from the side.

(Y/N): "Huh?"

Jehoel: "In a way, what you say is true; Angels are stronger than most devils by nature, that's how we were made. However, unlike them, we are restricted to staying in the Silver City at all times, regardless of the circumstances."

(Y/N): ".....I guess that would explain why there are no records of Angels visiting our world in the past..." I muttered.

Jeo: (He's taking it way better than I initially thought....) He snickered as he watched the (H/C) boy process the information he was being told.

Jehoel: "Due to this restriction, a decision was made that would allow the protection of this world without our direct intervention, a decision that would prove to be effective after a certain event that occurred a few centuries ago."

(Y/N): "I get it now, this decision was the creation of the plasma attribute, right?"

Jehoel: "Correct. Ever since Jeo's time ended, every few decades a single individual would be chosen to inherit this attribute. Many mages have been chosen over the years and, as you know, it seems you were the one chosen this era."

(Y/N): "Right...."

Jehoel: "We are getting sidetracked from our original topic. If you wish, you may learn more about the history of your attribute from Jeo later on, but right now we must proceed with the task at hand."

(Y/N): "Of course. So tell me, who is this "devil user" among us?"

The six winged angel exchanged glances with Jeo before answering, they both had a worried look on their faces but quickly changed back to their serious expression. Raising his arm, the angel pointed to the side, the (H/C) boy looked towards the place where Jehoel was pointing until he noticed that a mana screen had suddenly manifested in that exact place.

Jehoel: "At first we were skeptical, but all the evidence suggests that this boy is the one who is possessed by the devil."

(Y/N): "Who are you-"

Suddenly on the mana screen, a familiar patch of ash-blond hair could be seen before the rest of the figure was shown. (Y/N) widened his eyes in disbelief after realizing who Jehoel was talking about. Asta could currently be seen deflecting many of Langris's spatial orbs with his sword while Xerx and Mimosa were also behind him, it seemed that the two teams were already in their match. Regardless, all of this was simply ignored by (Y/N), who was still in shock after seeing that his childhood friend was the one accused of being possessed by the devil.

(Y/N): "No......no no NO! There is no way Asta is possessed by a devil!" The (H/C) boy yelled as he turned to Jehoel and Jeo, the two of them just staring at him already anticipating his reaction.

Jehoel: ".......My condolences (Y/N), but it is indeed him, there is no denying it."

(Y/N): "No, that can't be right! Asta doesn't even have magic, by no means he could have been the one who emitted that powerful energy you mentioned earlier!"

Jehoel: "......."

(Y/N): "Tell me! How are you so sure it's him?!" I asked with a clear sign of anger in my tone.

Jehoel: "......."

(Y/N): "Jehoel, please answer me!" I begged, my tone changing to one of desperation.

Jehoel: "......The three leaves of the clover each represent faith, hope and love. Within a fourth leaf, dwells good luck."

Jehoel pointed to the mana screen once more while maintaining eye contact with the (H/C) boy in front of him. (Y/N) looked back at him for what felt like centuries, all he could see in the angel's eyes was what he was feeling at that moment, feelings of empathy but of understanding his duty as one of the highest ranking angels.

Jehoel: "But within a fifth leaf......"

(Y/N) finally gave in and hesitantly followed Jehoel's finger to see what he so desperately wanted to show him, and it was at this very moment that (Y/N)'s expression completely changed as he looked at the screen.

Jehoel: ".... Resides a demon."

Just like in the match against Kirsch, Asta was once again surrounded by that dark and sinister aura and was using it in his fight with Langris. His entire right arm was covered by his anti-magic, a dark wing had sprouted from his right shoulder along with a horn on his head. However, what really shook (Y/N) to his core was Asta's own grimoire; Beyond its menacing red glow, he could clearly see it........the five-leaf clover. Jehoel's words echoed inside his head as everything finally clicked in (Y/N)'s mind, Asta really ... was possessed by a devil.

Jehoel: "There was no way for you to know (Y/N), not even the two of us knew until now."

My eyes were still glued to the mana screen in front of us. Asta had just beaten Langris by smashing him against his own crystal, Asta's black form soon disappearing moments later as he passed out from exhaustion. Meanwhile, I was currently remembering all those moments that I spent with Asta and Yuno when we were kids; The pranks we played on the other children, the times we played and relaxed while Sister Lily hung our clothes outside, even those times when we watched the sunset from the top of the church roof and dreamed about our lives as magic knights.........there was just no way Asta would suddenly turn into a servant of a devil, I refused to believe that someone with a pure and kind spirit like him would do something so wicked. Nevertheless, the evidence was being displayed in front of me, and no matter how much I denied it, there was no way to change the truth. Sighing in acceptance, I just turned to look at Jehoel with a defeated look.

(Y/N): "So.....what happens next?"

Jehoel: "Well, it is highly probable that your friend will slowly be consumed by the devil to the point where he'll be lost forever, and if that happens, there will be no way to bring him back."

(Y/N): ".... Isn't there something we could do to prevent this?" I asked with a slightly hopeful tone.

Jeo: "I'm afraid not (Y/N)." He answered with a sympathetic expression.

Jehoel: "What's worse, somehow this devil has managed to acquire the power of anti-magic, something that has never been seen in existence before. The destructive nature of this power is something we cannot ignore."

(Y/N): "Yeah.....I have seen its power firsthand...." I said as I recalled Kirsch's spell be erased in a few seconds after Asta's attack.

Jehoel: "If that devil manages to take over his body.....I'm afraid that not even you would be able to stop it."

(Y/N): "I understand. So, what do I need to do?" I asked as I stared at the mana screen in front of  me.

Jehoel: "You already know what must be done......(Y/N)." He said with a troubled tone.

(Y/N): *turns around* "Wait.....you surely don't mean-!"

Jeo: *sigh* "Yeah....."

Jehoel: "When the time comes.......you'll have to kill him."

(Y/N) fell silent at the mention of this. There were no words that could describe what he was feeling at that moment, every news he received was like being stabbed over and over again; Not only had he learned that his childhood friend was possessed by a devil, but now he was being told to kill him with his own hands. The (H/C) boy clenched his fists and dug his nails deep into his skin, blood began to gush out uncontrollably as he clenched his teeth in anger. Blue sparks of energy constantly emanated from his hands, there was just no way he could do what he was told and ever forgive himself for it. After giving it much thought, (Y/N) responded with the only answer he could give at the time.

(Y/N): "No."

Jehoel: "....... No?" He repeated as he stared at the (H/C) boy.

(Y/N): "I will not do it; I will not kill my own family."

Jehoel: "I'm afraid you have no choice, (Y/N)."

(Y/N): "Excuse me?!" I said in slight annoyance.

Jehoel: "You were chosen as the next holder of the plasma attribute. This is your destiny; It is your burden to bear." The angel informed him as he spread his wings further.

(Y/N): "To hell with destiny, if there is no other way, then I'll make sure to make one no matter what!" I said with a challenging tone.

While this was happening, Jeo, who was watching everything unfold from the sidelines, had a slight smirk on his face upon hearing (Y/N)'s statement. It has been a long time since someone challenged his own destiny as a bearer of the plasma attribute. This brought back some memories of nearly two decades ago,  he didn't believe it when he was first told about him, but after this there were no doubts about it; (Y/N) really was.....

Jehoel: "Hmmm......You're playing a dangerous game (Y/N), Be careful not to reap what you sow." The angel warned with a serious tone.

(Y/N): "I'll make sure not to." I said as I locked eyes with the Seraph in front of me.

Jehoel: "Hmmm, very well. If there is nothing else, we are done here. If you so desire to, you may return to your world."

(Y/N): "Right, but before I go, there is something I have been wanting to ask you, if you don't mind?"

Jehoel: "Go ahead."

(Y/N): "What was the reason behind my time attribute? Why was I the one and only plasma user to possess two attributes?" I asked intrigued.

Jeo's eyes widened slightly at the question while Jehoel kept his stoic expression, although the question had still surprised him a bit. Was it really time to tell him the whole truth? This question remained within the angel's mind before quickly coming to a decision. No, based on his recent reaction to his duty as a plasma user, Jehoel knew that (Y/N) was not yet ready for that discussion.

Jehoel: "I'm afraid I can't tell you the answer, not yet."

(Y/N): "Crap." I sighed.

Jehoel: *chuckles* "Don't you worry. I'm fairly certain that this won't be our last encounter. Maybe by then, you may already have figured it out yourself."

(Y/N): "Huh?"

Jehoel: "Farewell, (Y/N)." He smiled softly.

As he said this, the mist around the three of them began to spread and cover the entire realm around them. Both Jehoel and Jeo started to fade away while (Y/N) 's eyes started to feel heavy. Collapsing on the ground, the current plasma user closed his eyes and fell unconscious while the other two just watched him disappear in front of their eyes.

Jeo: "........"

Jehoel: "........"

Jeo: "So you didn't tell him about the three siblings from the Spade Kingdom?" He asked as he turned to look at the angel.

Jehoel: "There was no need. He still isn't ready to face them, he'll first need to become more powerful."

Jeo: "Not ready for them you say, yet he is ready for that devil with anti-magic?" Jeo raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Jehoel: "Need I remind you what devils we are talking about here?"

Jeo: "Meh...... Lucifero isn't that big of a deal considering who I had to deal with back then." He shrugged while Jehoel deadpanned and just continued.

Jehoel: "Regardless, we still don't know who that boy's devil truly is or what rank he may be. Until he starts taking over the boy's body, he is not a problem for now."

Jeo: "Yeah, if you say so. Anyways, regarding (Y/N), what did you think about him?"

Jehoel: *sigh* "He has a lot of potential, but I fear he lets his emotions get the better of him."

Jeo: *smirk* "And who does that reminds you of?"

Jehoel: "You were a different case, Jeo."

Jeo: "Oh come on, you have to agree that he acts just like me back when I first learned about all of this stuff. He actually reminded me of myself." He laughed.

Jehoel: "Are you sure that's the only reason?" The angel joked.

Jeo: "Uh, Right....I guess because of that as well." The plasma mage rubbed the back of his head.

Jehoel: "When do you plan on telling him?"

Jeo: "I'm not sure, but I don't want to rush anything. For now, let's just let the two interact, maybe they can figure it out themselves."

Jehoel: *chuckle* "Of course. Anyhow, just like planned, once the boy unlocks the wind property make sure to talk to Raphael about what to do next."

Jeo: "Right." The plasma mage nodded.

TIMESKIP: INFIRMARY ROOM

Waking up to a strange light, I slowly opened my eyes and tried to adjust to the bright light in front of me. I managed to open my eyes a little more, getting a glimpse of a ceiling of some kind, it seemed like I was lying in some kind of room. Sitting up on what appeared to be a bed, I looked to my left and widened my eyes slightly after noticing that Asta was sleeping on a bed next to me.

???: "Oh, hey! You're finally awake!" An unknown voice called out.

(Y/N): "Huh?"

I looked towards the source of the voice and saw a young mage sitting at one of the desks in the room. The young mage then quickly got up from his seat and smiled at me before heading for the door.

Mage: "Your friends left a moment ago to give out the report of you two, they should already be on their way back. I'll let them know you've woken up once they arrive."

(Y/N): "Uh.....sure, thanks."

The young mage nodded before leaving the room, leaving the two of us alone. I took a quick look at Asta and smiled in relief that he was fine, it looked like he was just exhausted. However, the smile on my face quickly disappeared after remembering my conversation with Jehoel. Asta, he truly was a devil host, and my duty as a plasma user required that I kill him. No, Devil host or not, he is still Asta, and I will find a way to solve this without having to kill him. I got up from the bed and put on my uniform before I heard the door swing open, Klaus and Mimosa bursting straight into the room along with Noelle and Yuno behind
