(A/N: THERE IS FLUFF AT THE END!!!) ~You don't have to read the following author's note, it's just explaining the update delay lately.

(A/N: Remember the kidnapping scenarios? Neither do I! So sorry about the long wait! When Irma had come over, I evacuated with my family and didn't come back until a week later. I know that isn't a good excuse, I should have had back up scenarios at the ready (and I used to for a while) but I didn't. We were without power for a day and during that week even with the power, I had trouble editing my work which is what I needed to do, so I couldn't do that during either. I want to do that was time sensitive such as the 'birthday' scenario and the 'anniversary' one, so those became  a top priority. Editing them took a while and I strayed away from writing for a few days too. Basically, sorry for the wait, I hope you like this chapter too!)

(A/N: This is the next part to the kidnapping parts; I'll now be quiet)

3 singular days and your prior clothes, once fit for a noble, were now no different than rags. The original colour of your dress was long since forgotten by its fabric, for dirt, mud, and ash covered up any reminisce of the baby blue.

Sadly, your clothes weren't the only thing in disarray, your body was as well. Blood, cuts, and bruises newly littered your previously clean body. It was true, being kept prisoner was certainly no paradise.

With an aching body and a mouth that still held the metallic taste of your own blood, you looked about the dirty room in exhaustion. All of your injuries had been a result of yesterday's beating, a punishment given to you after you had spoken 'without permission'.

Confusion still racked your mind as to why they took you. Were you a threat to them once upon a time? Was your family a threat? Did this have any relation to... the hitman... the one whom attacked your family? Or perhaps the situation was more simplistic; ransom?

You couldn't reach a satisfying answer; after all, thinking was not your best skill at the moment, for even the injuries that were hours old continued to play silly little games with your consciousness.

Although, despite all the bad, you were still confident that you would be saved; it was just a matter of time.

However, don't let the fact that you were being held hostage in a cell give out the illusion that you were left to your lonesome. The mastermind behind your kidnapping visited the area quite often, allowing you to have 'company'. Luckily, none of his visits focused on you; the only reason he came, was because the room outside of your cell had been his office. Or at the very least, it merely appeared to be.

   ...Speaking of which...

Coincidence it may be, but nonetheless, once again, the man entered the room. At his side, following him like ducklings, were two body guards; men that may not have had any room for a heart or a soul within all of their muscles.

Gazing up from the ground with clouded eyes, your body continued to betray you and throb. You watched the mastermind's every movement with intense concentration; this was one of the few times you were actually conscious enough to understand what he was doing. If you were lucky enough, you might just be able to get a clue as to his motives.

"We just got the positive answer from the Phantomhive brat! Give the men the 'okay'! Come time when that brat shows up, we'll do him in for good! No more stupid kids to ruin the industry!" The man chortled over the phone to, whom you assumed to be, the brawn's.

The Phantomhive brat...? Ciel...? They were planning on killing Ciel...?

  ...!

"No! Don't kill him!" Before you knew it, your hands were tightening around the cold bars of your cell as you shouted protests.

The man turned around and looked down at you with a face of utter disgust, "Go shut her up again." He stated simply, not even batting an eye to the slight horror that spread across your face. He pretended as if no one else had even ever been in the room, as he exited the area to do more of his twisted work; one of the men had followed him... meanwhile, the other?

The bigger man walked toward your cage, key in tow. You were far too weak to put up a fight or to try to escape, not to mention, not dumb enough to. And so you were left as a defenseless animal.

The man unlocked the door and slammed it behind him. He raised his fist and put his heal to his ass, ready to swing... and then, he made the red blood pool in your mouth once more.

    ~

Finally, after a few minutes, the man left the premises. His harsh abuse had left your body aching and throbbing much more violently than it had before.

Wheezing, trying to gain oxygen despite your burning lungs, you noticed black dots start to cloud your vision. With breathing being a major struggle for you at the moment, you began to question if you would ever wake up after you passed out.

Inhaling another breath of the horrid and filthy air that resided in the room, you were met with the sickly metallic taste of your blood. Coughing it out quickly, it merely triggered your body to release more of the red liquid, causing you to viciously hack crimson blood onto the cement floor below you.

Suddenly, the calmness outside of your cell had been tainted, for screaming filled your ears.

Metallic clinking and the sound of multiple bodies collapsing mixed in with the screams and fleeing footsteps.

You didn't know what to think of these noises due to the state you were in. Of course, you didn't exactly care about it. After exhaling one last shaky breath, you passed out.

  ~

When you woke up, the first thing you noticed was the clean, white ceiling above.

"I see, you're awake." A voice said; a voice that you were so thankful to hear. You were only able to tilt your head to the side since most of your energy had still been elsewhere, but luckily, it was enough.

Your eyes landed on Ciel's petite form, "Ciel..." You mumbled.

"Did they do anything to you? Did they hurt you?" He asked. He spoke in monotone, yet somehow, urgency and concern seemed to show.

You propped yourself up on your elbows, ignoring all of the pain that surged through your body at that moment, and chuckled. "Not anymore than what's currently visible..." You groaned,  gazing down at your bandaged injuries.

Gauze littered your arms, legs, and torso, giving you low mobility.

"Good." He stated. His eyes traveled down your face to your wounded areas, observing the damage done.

"Is anything too bad?" You asked, your voice cracking. He lightly shook his head.

"You might need to rest for a few days, but otherwise, Sebastian said you'll be fine."

"Alright..." You replied, laying yourself back down onto the bed before staring at the ceiling again. "Hey, Ciel... can you give me a hug?"

"..." His response was delayed, "What?"

"I don't feel very good, I'm hurt. Can you give me a hug to feel better?"

     "No." He answered bluntly.

"Aw, but Ciel~! I feel so unloved..." Ciel scoffed, most likely rolling his eye. "Please~" You begged. "It doesn't have to be a hug, it can be a kiss!"

     "..." Silence.

Just as you were about to make another plea, the sunlight dimmed from your vision as strands of blue hovered over your head. Ciel's hair almost touched your face as he gave you a light peck on the forehead.

To be honest, you were quite astonished. You didn't think Ciel would actually kiss you; albeit, you did intend something different when you had offered it.

After the light kiss, he simply stood up and left the room. The last word that left his lovely lips as he exited was simply 'goodbye'. A light smile caused by happiness made its way to your face, resulting in a good memory that made the next few days in bed more tolerable than it may have originally been.

You didn't like getting injured, but maybe you should start being kidnapped more often!
