(A/N) Okay, so I worked really hard on these last 3 so please try to check them out! Also, I hope you guys are doing well even with everything going on. Stay safe~

(Part 3)

Slowly rotating the handle, you tried your best to stall for every millisecond of time possible. You weren't quite sure that you wanted to be alone right now. Although your hand managed to turn the knob so slowly that you couldn't even hear the creek of the door, nor the small click of the lock when you opened it, you still felt as if you were opening the door too fast. As the thing finally disconnected from the wall, you slowly pushed it ajar.

Ciel's eye watched closely as you completed each step terribly slow... yet, there was no complaint. Ciel didn't leave nor did he walk away. He remained still, watching as you got to your room physically safe and sound. He wasn't just loitering, he had been waiting to be released-- waiting for permission to leave and to head for his room. Yet he knew that that may not necessarily happen, and he seemed prepared for that as well. Nonetheless, you still stalled...

Gathering all of your mental courage, you ceased your procrastination and swung the bedroom door open. You wouldn't have expected something that took such minimal force to be so hard. The door was wide open now; you still weren't moving. You could see your bed, your dresser, your window... but you refused to enter... and so, Ciel refused to leave.

Only a few seconds passed by, but it felt like much longer.

A light vacuum was heard as you took in a large breath... you didn't let it out right away. One foot went inside of your room and soon the other followed. One step at a time. Next, with just as much force as it took you to push the door open, you shut it behind you. The door almost didn't shut properly; you hit the chunk of wood with all your might... but I guess you must've still been weak from what you recently saw.

Attempting to relax, you finally exhaled the breath.

But you couldn't remain calm... In the end, you found out that reopening your bedroom door was far easier than it was to open or close it the first time. In fact, the hard part turned out to be asking your beloved, the killer in front of you that had yet to move a centimeter, to comfort you.

"Will you come inside, I don't want to be alone..." You asked quite timidly. Almost as if he knew that you would have caved in from the very beginning, he finally moved, and walked toward the door. The second Ciel stepped foot into your room you could feel your fear and paranoia dissipate, your anxiety subsiding. Magnificently enough, you no longer felt the need to hesitate or procrastinate when you closed the door this time. Was Ciel your calming agent? He was like a skeleton key that would have the solution to every problem. What would you do without him?
