I trip over nothing while nearly running towards the kitchen smelling something burning over there. I switch the microwave oven off quickly where the brownies are burning. A puff of black smoke, that’s the only thing hits my face when I try to take out the brownies inside the oven.

“Oh my god something is burni……………….”

I turn around with the tray full of burns brownies in my hands to see a panicked face of Oren.

“Google amazon and find if they’ve nostrils on sale Oren.” I smile sarcastically and the turn it into a frown the next time. “It’s already burnt and you were the nearest one to the kitchen!”

“Watch some how to cook videos on YouTube and save the house from air pollution.” She yells following my expression and walks out.

“Too much sound pollution inside the house! Do it outside ladies.” Mum yells back as we both growl in annoyance.

I look at the tray with a pouty face, wiping away the fake tears from my cheeks. I strongly hate wasting food, I don’t even remember the last time I wasted food. I’d rather apology for not joining someone at their meal because I’m full than playing pinball on my plate and stand up from the table nearly eating nothing with so called courtesy. Or I’d end up in finishing whatever is left in my plate until I feel sick. This is really weird but why waste food when everything in the world you doing is for food where millions of people are still starving every day?

I shrug my shoulders lightly after burying the burnt brownies in the trash. I walk towards my room to get ready for going to the bar with Bebe and Liam. It’s not like we got to bar and get wasted in the middle of the dance floor. We just go there in a weekend or two, pour some drinks in our all week stressed tensed veins and enjoy the music on the floor like a happy pony.

Yes, there was a time when I used to go to bar only to steal a kiss from the same pair of lips under the blue light. Then a time came when I became the typical regular bar visitor whose swaying hips in the center of the floor would not fail to grab the attention of the drunk people around her. And now here I am, who’d rather join the DJ and make everyone groove of the pain before they go home. Time, time is all you need to build your life and shape others life at the same time.

I grab a grey hoodie dress which ends just a couple of inches before my knees. Pulling my hair into a high ponytail, I pick up my brown leather ankle boots. I look at the mirror and smile on my own realizing the fact that I’m going to the bar like this.

“So you guys didn’t talk at all?” Bebe asks ordering our drinks while Liam is busy winking at a girl with pitch black hair.

“Talk? I was dying to get out of the coffee shop to be honest!” I roll my eyes. “We were silently sitting across each other.”

That was the day I felt life can be so boring. The night Louis took me out for a coffee, the night I revealed my truth. I don’t know he was planning it to be a date or not but I was really shocked that he didn’t even gave a flying fuck to the fact about revealing the truth about my journey with him to NYC and Spain. Apart from that, he was not really a gentleman during the so called coffee date. He was so silent, like a switched off phone. He dragged a chair in front of me but sit on it instead of offering me to sit when I’m the one who was standing in front of that chair. My cappuccino beside his dark black coffee was looking goof though.

“Maybe he was…………………….nervous?” Liam chuckles taking a can of chilled bear.

“Nervous and Louis? It’s more impossible than finding aliens in the sun Liam!” I roll my eyes laughing, clinking my shot with both of them.

That was the last day I saw him. He didn’t came to Zayn’s office even. Being impatient, I didn’t bother to ask Oren if her boss is coming to office and she said that he’s coming as always.

I tilt my head on a side and smile when the black haired girl walks towards Liam, waving her hands. She has a dark skin tone and her hair is curly. The blue jeans and white tank top is perfect on her curves. I look at Bebe from the corner of my eyes and control my smirk looking down. Her nostrils flares when the girl drags Liam to the dance floor with him.

“Why don’t you ask him out instead of being a jealous jellybean?” I frown looking at Bebe and she just passes me a glare.

“You want me to ask that person out who I quarrel with the whole day? The person who’d be interested than any other girl than me? I agree I’m fascinated by this idiot but it should be rated under………………under fascination only.” She nods looking at a dancing Liam and then looking at me.

“Because he’d never be able to find out about your feelings for him unless you tell him. How can you expect such things from Liam who is the only person I’ve ever met on mother earth afraid of……………………cats?” I gawk, causing my best friend to smile.

“I’d think about knocking his dumb mind though.” She chuckles before standing up. “I’m sorry babe but I really want some fresh air, you won’t mind right?”

“You want me to come with you or alone is better?” I ask cocking one of my eyebrows, sipping in the drink in front of me.

Oh shit it was not mine, it was the strong red wine Liam ordered for him.

“Alone sounds good for now.” She smiles Look at Liam and I nod.

I push away the glass of red wine far away from me so that I accidentally don’t drink it again. I look at my phone and notice there’s some texts from Harry. I take some time to chat with him. Since a lot of days we’ve been holding a chat between us on daily basis. He is a nice guy and he’s not even near to flirty when we’re talking. It’s just how our days going on or making each other happy with some good wishes.

“Hey Reen!” I look up hearing Liam’s voice beside me, of course his hand is wrapping the girl beside him. “Meet Nyssa! Nyssa this is my best friend Reen.” Liam introduces the pretty lady to me and I stand up smiling.

“Nice to meet you Reen. Liam told me that you guys used to work at the same place before you were fired for making a customer senseless by hitting a shoe on his forehead and the person turned out to be your sister's boss.”

My smile drops down and I give Liam a you’re a dead homo sapiens before turning around to her again. I simply hug her and she hugs me back. Liam tells me that they’re going out of the bar and asks if it’s alright.

“Yeah, I guess I’ll find a stranger or be alone.” I fake a laugh looking at Liam and Liam originally laughs louder only to flinch his new friend in fear.

“Relax, I’d be cool here. You guys can have your time.” I shrug my shoulders and smile.

Nyssa doesn’t look like a girl who possesses filthy claws so if Liam wants to hang out with her, he can. I know Bebe likes Liam but it’s Liam who has to understand this. I can’t force him to make his choice in life and tell him to stay away from this girl because my best friend likes him.
I take a look around me after they walk out of the bar. A lot of people are dancing like there is no end, some people drinking like that’s the last moment of their life. I know I’d find a lot of couples who were strangers a few minutes ago and now they’re making out. That’s thing about a bar, none gives a fuck about past. Everyone is helping each other to forget their past for a while by making their present whatever they want to do by ignoring the upshot in future.

I sigh heavily and walk out of the bar when realizing there is no point of staying here now, I’d rather go to McDonalds and check out the new toy collection of happy meals. I untie my hair when I feel the necessity of a beanie or scarf after the cold breeze hits my ears. How the weather changed all of a sudden? I look up at the sky only to hit two or three rain drops to hit my cheeks. I need to reach home before it starts raining heavily, you never know when an English sky becomes all gloomy.

I walk fast to my car but stop just before opening the car’s door noticing someone’s leg stretched out behind the car beside mine. My eyes widen and I decide to check out if anyone needs help there. It’s not an uncommon scenery to find wasted people lying outside the bar.

“Louis!” I whisper yell looking at the pale face in front of me.

He slowly rises his head up and locks his eyes with mine. My heart twists discovering his dark blue eyes in the sodium light mostly hiding behind his damp brown hair. The tip of my fingers run cold when he clenches his jaw, ashes falling down from the cigarette he’s holding between his index and middle finger.

“Go away before I hurt you.” He tells closing his eyes, leaning against the cars door before he lets a ring of smoke leaving his lips.

“Louis………….Louis you’re smoking.” My shaky voice whispers and I flinch a little when he laughs like a maniac looking down.

Is he really the Louis I know? The annoyingly attractive bitch who will smell like some million dollar perfume wearing his off white suit?

“Don’t touch me!” he yells when I reach for his arms to pick him up.

“Just go away, a storm is coming, a bad one.” His voice fades as he leans more against the cold metal.

The cigarette in his hands fall down on the ground beside him as he stops mumbling. I kneel down in front of him nervously and touch his cheek with my shaky hand. For a strange reason, this unforeseen dark side of Louis is petrifying me. To my surprise, he leans his cheek more against my palm as a whimper leaves his lips.

I don’t know how I gathered all the strength in my body when I dragged his unconscious body to my car and drive at midnight all the way to his home.
